About the Editors Roopali Sircar Gaur, Ph.D. is a lifelong educator and social justice activist. Passionate about creating opportunities in education and employment for those left behind, Sircar Gaur is a retired English professor, and Founder President of YUVATI, a nonprofit organisation working for adolescent girls and boys across India. Sircar Gaur also works with children from underserved communities in what she calls Mera Kitab The Backyard Book Club she established as a pop-up book club. The book club offers reading, learning, peer interaction and play opportunities for children of all ages. An avid gardener, composter, recycler and re-user, she finds poetry and humour in the smallest things around her. Bringing together the poets in this volume has been a labour of love as well as a personal dream come true. Sircar Gaur retired as an Associate Professor from the Department of English at Delhi University's Sri Venkateswara College, where she was tenured at the age of twenty. Anita Nahal, Ph.D., CDP, is a poet, flash fictionist, children's author, D&I consultant, professor & higher education administrator. Nahal has authored one academic book, two books of poems, one book of flash fictions and three books for children besides over 30 articles in journals & blogs. She also writes periodically on Linkedln. Nahal's most recent data-oriented study on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity at HBCUs was published as a chapter in a book in 2015. Her creative works can be found in Aberration Labyrinth, Confluence, Better Than Starbucks, Aaduna, River Poets Journal, Colere and Lapis Lazuli.
