I've always enjoyed Giles's fiction, but have discovered in recent years how very much I enjoy her autobiographical stuff as well. Stumbled on this one, and didn't even realize I had it, and quickly became thoroughly engrossed. Now I have to go hunt up some more of her fiction!

My grandmother bought me this after she discovered how avidly I was reading the Janice Holt books. I never had the heart to tell her it wasnt very interesting. Of course I was a teenager then. I may feel differently if I read it now in my fifties.
