This was a good story but I can’t say for sure that it would’ve hit the same had I read it instead of listened to Wesleigh and Winston do their thing! A higher rating would be more reflective of their amazing performance and not the story itself! I did enjoy the spice and back and forth between Raymond and Tracey! They both wanted to experience not just love but black love and I think the development of their employer/ employee love affair was cute! I just wouldn’t say the story is memorable. This was my introduction to Aja and I’d probably give her catalog some more attention but my next book will definitely be a read so that I can get a true feel for her as an author.

I enjoyed this. The title of this book is exactly what Raymond is🤭🫢Even though the author gives you some good spice I love the happenings and love surrounding the Juneteenth celebrations. Im loving this series so far. This my second read in the series. Enjoy!

Half way and Happy
Readers, I am halfway through this fabulous Juneteenth anthology, and I am loving every edition.
Mr. Big Stuff had the correct title for his business acumen and his relationship business. I admired his character and enjoyed this journey with Raymond and Tracey. Even though I thought Tracey lost her ever-loving mind when she left her excellent job over petty things. Again, the Juneteenth references are spot-on and very well executed. Well done!

Mr. Big Stuff is Here!!!
Raymond aka Mr. Big Stuff is planning a huge celebratory Juneteenth for the people of Pittsburgh and so far it is going off with all kinds of hitches. His previous assistants had to be fired because they wanted to be more and his policy is to do the work they were hired for, and the second issue is getting a meeting with Khalil a multi-billionaire app developer to fund the celebration.
Tracey Copeland is in a bind, she is out of a job (she resigned), her savings is dwindling and her cat is judging her hard LOL!!! Tracey needs a job fast and hopefully signing up with this agency will provide that for her.
Raymond and Tracey are such a great combination, I love that there was no real outside drama, the only drama was the fact that Tracey reported to Raymond. Raymond's authenticity was so great for Tracey, and he really allowed her to come out of her shell to embrace her power. Tracey was exactly who Raymond was waiting for all of his adult life, his heart had found its other half.
This was a really great story and it was nice to see Zola and Khalil make an appearance (She's Got Soul - Soulmates Book 1) and Zola's sister Zoe (Soul Love - Soulmates Book 3). I have read a lot of books by author Aja but the few that I have read I enjoyed it immensely.

From nightmare to dream come true
Raymond had a business to run. However, he had difficulty in hiring assistants who could handle his boundaries. Tracey left a position she had insecurities about. Their paths crossed and both realized more was on the horizon for them. A few bumps along the way but realized something. Have a great read and enjoy their discoveries. Great author and another great read.

3.5 - 4 🌟
I do feel like the early part of story focused on his stuff literally which made me roll my eyes, but I gave it a chance and it got better. I do love the Juneteenth celebration aspect of the story and how the MMC and FMC’s personal and careers were woven into their love story. The audiobook narrators made the story come to life.

Big Stuff
The way this story had me hooked the moment Raymond talks about how he has to end relationships because of what he’s packing. Then there’s Tracey down on her luck but ends up finding a good thing business wise and relationship wise with Raymond and his company. Also the smut has sold me on this author 🥰.

3.5⭐️ I went into this blind and I guess I’m dense because I didn’t realize they meant Mr. Big junk. Raymond really did act like his endowment was a hardship. Tracey is bored, impulsive and always up for a challenge. Nobody does funny sex scenes like Wesleigh Siobhan.

Raymond “Mr. Big Stuff” is fine, powerful, and way too much for the average woman (Wink, Wink), good thing Tracey isn’t average. She wanted a shake-up, and whewww he delivered.
Aja gave us Big D energy, real vulnerability, and the kind of love that’ll either break you down or build you up. Tracey was looking for a challenge… and Mr. Big Stuff? Baby, he was the storm.

Hindsight is not where you’re going
Raymond was a prominent figure in the community as Mr Black Pittsburg and with his business consulting company. He was an encourager, motivator and a self starter. He was also busy and needed an adequate assistant especially with the Juneteenth event coming up, but kept running into women who wanted the job of doing him instead of what the job description actually required. He was trying to put together the best Juneteenth he’s ever lead. Also, his love life was trash because the women he entertained couldn’t handle all of the man that he truly was.
Tracey was a woman who, even though beautiful, she was having problems recognizing her worth and having confidence. She saw the great things happening for and in others lives, but didn’t recognize the great things happening in hers - too busy in her feelings of jealousy and self doubt. She was educated and had a great job she enjoyed at an amazing company but, her actions were lead by emotions at times and led to regrettable decisions - comparing herself and her life to others and trying to keep up. Her last emotional decision led her to quitting her job and to Raymond.
These two tried to fight to remain professional but the struggle was too real and lines were crossed leaving them in an unknown place with each other personally. While professionally they worked well together, now there’s unanswered questions of what next and now what.
He was a good man, she was good woman and they were good for each other, but they both needed to acknowledge, accept it, take a chance and build on it.
I enjoyed this Baes of Juneteenth book immensely. I appreciated the love story because it felt genuine and I could see it happening. I also loved how the author incorporated the Juneteenth theme which was never forgotten. I’ve read several of the books in the series and felt a couple of them had the theme as more of an afterthought that was picked up by the end of the book - all of the drama with the characters and then “oh yeah the Juneteenth event was a success btw.”
This was my first book by this author and I will be checking out more of her books.

This Baes of Juneteenth story takes us to Pittsburgh, PA. The hometown of our author, Aja, and Mr. Black, Raymond McCullough, the owner of McCullough Business Solutions. When the story opens, Raymond is firing yet another assistant who failed to abide by the office boundaries that he established. He needs their business expertise that he hired them for; not a personal relationship that they wanted. He was struggling. Raymond needed a capable assistant to help him map out his vision for the best Juneteenth event that the city has ever seen. He needs a plan and sponsors to help carry out that plan, and so far, he has nothing, but the ideas. Since he is approaching the end of his reign as Mr. Black, Raymond wanted to go out with something special, “Black excellence wrapped in comfort”, and he needs a Big draw and Big money to do it. He also needs an assistant in a Big way. Enter Tracey Copeland, who is need of a job, Big time, after she quit her previous position with tech multimillionaire Khalil Berry (SHE’S GOT SOUL), who also makes an appearance with his wife, Zola. Lucky for Tracey, she lands the assistant position with Raymond’s company.
I love Tracey and Raymond’s story. Aja is a writer of very sensual and sexy love stories. MR. BIG STUFF is no exception. I loved the down-to-earth banter between Raymond and Tracey. Aja also has a knack for bringing that out in the special love language her main characters use. Raymond and Tracey’s chemistry is off-the-charts, and Mr. Big Stuff indeed meets his match!
From the “About Juneteenth” section to the planning of the celebration, Aja never lets the reader forget the gravity of this newly established Federal holiday. The collaboration of the eleven authors of this series who present us with stories of black love and black knowledge is priceless! I highly recommend MR. BIG STUFF for your reading pleasure. My, my, my...what a good read 'Mr. Big Stuff: Baes of Juneteenth' was featuring Tracey and Raymond. The title alone will have one wondering what that [Mr. Big Stuff] applied to. We find Tracey being hired by Raymond as his assistant. It was pretty interesting reading how these two came together, each having their own personal issues while learning valuable lessons. But most of all, Tracey was able to assist Raymond, who needed help pulling together a wonderful Juneteeth celebration hosted by the Black organization.
I loved how this author gave this read an excellent job explaining Juneteenth information, New Year's history, and Mr. Black's organization. All in all, the reader is given not only a good romance story but also an important history lesson about Juneteenth.
The characters that came into play in the story from previous stories by this author were...Khalil, Zola, Rashaad, Zoe, and even friends from Sizzle were included in this story, which helped bring the story together very well.
To get all of the story, pick up 'Mr. Big Stuff: Baes of Juneteenth' to see if Tracey and Raymond 'find the true value of life and happiness' they desperately needed.

I wish it were longer 🫠🫠
When I first saw this novel, I told myself I would read it regardless of the rating or reviews and I’m glad it was totally worth it.
It’s my first novel from this author and all I can say is if she rewrote this and made it double the length I would still re-read it in one sitting ( if that’s possible 😮💨)
I love the writing style and how the story is sensual without being raunchy, the details that were left out added a layer of sous-entende that made the reading experience much more enjoyable.
Tracy’s feeling of envy and not being where she felt she should be is something I’m sure resonates with a lot of people and I love how the story approaches this in her relationship with Raymond and what she thought was a failure put her outside of her comfort zone and opened new opportunities for her.
I also loved the central theme and the focus on the black community. I’m not even American but I feel like the desire and vision for community growth Raymond worked on really is a worthy project.
All in all I’ll go check out her other works while waiting for the other novels in the series .

Raymond…Mr. Big Stuff…Go On Then And Show Us Who You “Know” You Are!! 🔥🔥
The “Baes of Juneteenth” are rolling through and Ms. Aja has the pleasure of introducing us to Raymond as the Mr. Black of Pittsburgh who is having some issues trying to get their Juneteenth event to come together!
I enjoyed having the history of Juneteenth at the beginning! I’m sure there is information that may be new to some of us and just plain interesting and informative!! We need “our” history!! Thank You, Aja!! Well done!! 👏🏽👏🏽
In the midst of his issues, Ms Tracey enters the picture and all heck breaks out between them…feelings, lust, questions, attraction…get the point! They actually become a great team and we even have some old friends from Ms Aja’s “Soulmates Series!”
This is all you get from me! You should be grabbing your copy and already reading to see what’s happening In Pittsburgh!! Trust me, you’ll be so glad you did! You may even decide to reach back to her other work and catch up on a few characters!! All I can say is that this is another excellent book in this series! Ms Aja did her thing and for that, I say…Kudos, Aja!! 💜💜

The title of this anthology Aja, is most appropriate!!
Sometime jumping ship can turn out to be just what we need even when all common sense says otherwise! Such was the case with Tracey who allowed hurt feelings to cause her to make a decision to become unemployed! One would think the temp position was beneath her, however it led her straight in the arms of Mr. Big Stuff himself Raymond McCullough her new boss! The love story while hot, hot, hoooooot did not detract from the way Mr. Black Pittsburgh put on a Juneteenth event that educated our people about it's significance and showcased the many Black owned businesses and the goods and services they provided to the community! Thank you Aja for adding your contribution to the acknowledgment and celebration of Juneteenth that also honors our ancestors!!! I enjoyed Raymond and Tracey's story very much.

Phenomenal Read 📚👏🏾✨️❣️
Loved Ray and Tracey! They were made for each other and blossomed into who they were fully supported to be loving each other. I loved the fiesty and funny interplay between the MCs. The characters from other books by the author making appearances was cool. Ray's parents were fun and strong examples of doing what works best for you to be happy and well developed as an individual and a couple despite what others make expect. They also provide a lesson that having adult conversations with your adult children is important and necessary. The hotness was depicted with these two mature people who were ready, willing and able to make up for lost time and attention to their needs. This was a phenomenal read 📚 👏🏾✨️❣️

Raymond and Tracey's story is sensual🌋!!! Boundaries that were meant to be in place didn't apply to them🤔🤔🤔. Feelings are instant and love evolves. Tracey's commitment to Raymond was there but she questioned his love for her. I didn't feel like there was much to the story. I couldn't figure out if Tracey was making moves based more on her relationship insecurities, insecurities about her professional skill set, or a combination of both. I don't know.
There were concerns Raymond mentioned toward the end of the book. Did I miss him voicing some of those same concerns during the book? I don't know.
I do know that Wesleigh Siobhan and Winston James' narration gave the book life. Especially the scene where Raymond went to pick up his dad for lunch.
I am not sure how I would have felt reading the book. I don't know if the content alone would have held up for me.

Never Too Old …
“Mr Big Stuff” Jean Knight circa 1971..chair jammin’ reading Ms Aja’s literary “Mr Big Stuff” version. Meanwhile, “Mr Big Stuff: Baes of Juneteenth” was a good read. Honestly I was expecting something different (from this book). However, I was pleasantly surprised, with its content. I never knew or heard of the “Mr Black” organization, affiliate chapters, purpose & history. …Hmmm, interesting!We’re never too old to receive and or impart wisdom, knowledge & understanding. 👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿💚🖤❤️🤎‼️

Love the ❤️
I absolutely loved reading this book. I think the author did a fantastic job writing the Juneteenth information and New Years history. I attended NYE services for years thinking that’s just what we did. I worked in corporate America and didn’t understand why my white co-workers didn’t go to church on NYE. I did my own research and found out why so I’m hoping some young person will read this part of history.
The other thing I loved is the author made being rich and loving your woman normal. This is such an encouraging and fun read.

This was a love about Tracey Copeland and Raymond McCullough. They met when he interviewed for an assistant after being named Mr Black for Pittsburgh After his appointment he needed an assistant to help plan his Nineteenth celebration as the new Mr Black. She aced his requirements and also leaked his attraction immediately. She was extremely talented and intelligent with ideas that made his celebration soar beyond expectations and led to their happily ever after.

This book was okay. What I enjoy about this author's writing is her ability to create characters that are grown and sexy. Independent, drama-free individuals who know what they want in the opposite sex without all of the unnecessary obstacles that people love to put in place to block their own happiness (insert eye roll here). However, the two main characters in this novel fell flat. Yes, Raymond was well endowed and hung like a horse, but sexy isn't an adjective I would use to describe him. I don't know what to make of Tracey. I was giving her hard hard side-eyes throughout the book. The decision she made at the beginning of the book was dumb and not becoming of grown women.
I did, however, enjoy the Juneteenth festivities that Raymond organized. That was nothing short of amazing and well planned out.

Loved this story about Raymond and Tracey
They both found love unexpectedly and some life lessons along the way
Black love and black commitment to building black communities was a running theme in the book and a strong connection to the characters
It is an uplifting read and leaves you feeling proud of the achievements that the characters in the book achieve while it is fiction is plausible

Loved It!
Oh my goodness, Raymond and Tracey had me laughing and faning myself at their antics. This story had a beautiful balance of spice, romance, humor, and realistic life situations. Tracey and Raymond had insecurities and issues to deal with, but sometimes you have to step out of your own way and comfort zone in order to get wherever you are truly meant to be. They both learned a valuable lesson; no matter the obstacles, what God means for you will always be for you.

Tracey quit her great job because she was all in her feelings. Good thing she ended up working for Raymond’s company. She made him break all the office rules. Raymond really was blessed enough to be called Mr. Big Stuff! She did help him pull off the perfect Juneteenth celebration, along with a blank check from her former employer! These Baes of Juneteenth stories just keep getting better and better! Thanks Aja!! ❤️🔥

Loved It!
I love this series! Raymond and Tracey had chemistry from the start. In bed and out of bed. But Raymond has boundaries, and Tracey is insecure. The boundaries diminish quickly, but Raymond won't commit because of his issue with how his parents divorced. Tracey finds her voice just as he's ready to commit. The story was well developed, and there were some laugh out loud moments.
