Hello Bastards!

Rate this book
Mic Wright is a journalist and writer. He first had poetry published as a snot-nosed school boy but it was mostly pretty cringeworthy. In 2003, he was the only first year student from Oxford, Cambridge or UEA to have a piece published in the MAY Anthologies. The Loneliness Of The Bookshop Dweller (published for the second time in this volume) was praised by Ali Smiths as Òsetting the challenge and the toneÓ for the anthology. Mic totally failed to capitalise on that early opportunity, preferring to throw himself in to performing comedy. After graduating, he went from junior word-monkey at Pensions World Magazine to News Editor at Stuff Magazine then Front Section Editor at Q. His freelance journalism has been published in papers and magazines as diverse as The Guardian, The Times, Q, Stuff and Wired. Mic performs regularly on the London poetry circuit and writes the pop culture and comment blog Intercourse With Biscuits (brokenbottleboy.tumblr.com)
