The new sensation taking the baking world by storm, cake pops are the pinnacle of cakey cuteness! A cross between a cake and a lollipop, these bite-sized sweet morsels look almost too good to eat. This new book however takes the concept further, with miniature cakes, cookies and slices, tarts, pies any many more sweet treats on sticks. All the recipes are written in step-by-step format, and illustrated with 200 pictures of complicated stages. ,
I found this book to be extremely informative and useful, and it is probably my favourite recipe book for cake pops.
Before the recipes, there was a very informative section that gave tips for using different kinds of decorations, as well as an explanation of what the decoration was and where it could be found.
I loved how every different recipe also came with a unique recipe for the cake base. The cake recipe would match the design of the cake pop, creating adorable snacks that were also extremely tasty. The many different designs were all very creative and extremely cute!
I also found the book to be very helpful. In this book, there are seemingly endless photos that show every cake pop design and explain the process of making the cake pop. The measurements for ingredients were also shown in both metric and empirical values, and the ingredients that have different European and American names are consistently referred to by both names, clearing up any confusion.
I would recommend this book to both beginners and experienced cake pop makers!
