I've been following the author on their social media site "Don't Go Bacon My Heart" and loved the look of their comfort food meals. However I don't do well trying to follow recipes from a computer screen. I'm old fashioned and still like the hard copy to read from. So I decided to buy this cookbook.

Reading the recipes does not disappoint in anticipation of being created in the kitchen soon. Even if you don't cook, your appetite will be whetted by just reading the ingredients and looking at the pictures.

The recipes in this are great. My only complaint is the measurements are in litres and grams and I have to convert everything as my U.S. measurements are in cups and ounces. Also, the photographs are not the best. Reminds me of those old school 1960’s cookbooks grandma had with depressing looking pictures.
