I'm absolutely in love with this world and the second book didn't disappoint!
This is the second book in the War Brothers MC series and follows the story of Bomber aka Knox and Zara, a second chance romance as its best and I have to tell you nothing could have prepared me for this story, it's beautiful but absolutely heartbreaking, so please check the trigger warnings carefully before you dive in, since some topics can be hard on some readers.
Zara and Knox have been soulmates for as long as they remember, but fate throws a curve that they can't avoid, finding themselves in the most devastating situation they could ever imagined, but love conquers all and maybe they find their way back to where they belong.
Bianca is a very gifted writer, her storyline is original and raw as her characters are flawless. I have to admit I read this book in one sitting because not only I could put it down but I cried like a baby and for me, those are the best books, those that envelop you into a fantasy blanket that allows you to feel the feelings, smell the roses and fall in love over and over again.
I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a wonderful escape from reality and I can't wait for the next story, since Viper has been one of my favorite characters in the series.
Heat- 🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️). They do the thing and name some of the parts. It’s more emotional than zexual.
Series? Y
Safety: Y. There’s no cheating, no S. Violence, no sharing, no OM/OW drama and no detailed descriptions of their zex lives when they were apart. No cliffhanger. HEA. Bittersweet.
Tropes- First Love, Second Chance, Soul Mates, Love Never Dies.
What I liked- Knox. He did everything for Zara, even when it hurt. That first kiss when they saw each other again was perfect. The mystery was not hard to figure out, but there was enough that was unpredictable to make it interesting, plus it was a satisfying solution.
What I disliked- The focus was on the mystery. I’d have liked it to be equal to the romance, particularly since this is billed as a romance novel.
I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy for free and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
When we were introduced to Bomber in the last book, i knew I wanted to know his story and was excited it was the 2nd addition to the series. His story wasn't at all what I was expecting. Not to say it wasn't still traumatic and sad in its own way, but I guess I had all these theories of loss and traumatic events he possibly went through and didn't expect it to be a more vicarious situation. But overall, the book was still good and had a mystery element. I won't say Zara didn't annoy me at times. Especially her reactions and responses to situations and as strong as she liked to portray herself for being better, she went right back to toxic and self destructive behaviors. But I tried to give her a bit of grace, but I guess I expected her character to be stronger, or atleast find her strength over the time she was away, and have more will and resolve to figure things out rather than sink into herself and destructive things, or bury her head in the sand. It was weird how she swung from wanting answers but then would run away or act to overwhelmed to get the answers then wanted to be mad at people for keeping things from her that she clearly couldn't handle. So obviously I was a bit disappointed in her character and development. I'm hoping to see a HEA for Kane. I felt to bad for him the whole book and want to see him find someone to help him heal. overall, this was a interesting read. Knox and Zara ♥️♥️♥️
This is the first book I have read by the author and I am more than satisfied. I liked the story, the main and secondary characters. The story held my attention from the first to the last page, the writing style is simple and beautiful and I know that this will not be the only book I will read, I will impatiently wait for the other parts.
The story follows Zara, Knox, and Kane and their growing up, which is marked by the tragedy that marked their lives. Zara lost her sister, Kane the love of his life, and Knox is someone who takes all the burden and tries to bring them both back to a normal life. His emotions are strong and sincere, he feels great responsibility for the mental state of his brother, and the girl he loves .
This book was a story of second chances and a love that was never really lost instead forced upon through tragic circumstances. You saw the hurt and pain both Knox and Zara went through as well as Kane and how they had to re-find themselves with the passage of time, to that fatal circumstance that always haunted them through the years to then all finding there way back to each other and also being able to finally move on from the tragic events of the past.
As a reader, Ward invited us on their journey and we unpick the mystery with the characters seeing how it all interlinks and then finding hope for future in an unexpected twist. We experience the: bittersweet moments; dark moments; thoughtful moments; and moments of family including the complicity of family relationships and solidarity of friends who become extended family. At the same time Ward weaves in Knox and Zara's characters: how they have become and changed; how it had negatively mentally; emotionally and psychologically affected them; and the sadness draws us in and hooks us with the foreshadowing and emotions at play from the main characters.
What could have been done better? I think for me it felt a bit flat mid way in the book at the climax point and everything was about Zara she was a "princess", by the mid point I was getting worn out with her misery. However, it was a good book if you are into this genre and you could pick it up and out it down quite easily.
****4.5 WOW Stars**** I couldn’t wait for this one and it was good. Get ready for one crazy ride that will break your heart. Bomber had fallen hard for Zara when they were very young soulmates, and they thought they would have the world together. Then the unthinkable happened and destroy so much between them and around them. Zara and Bomber life takes them in different direction, but they never forgotten their past. Now 9years later Zara comes back home for the vigil and doesn’t want to see Bomber, but fate has other plans. Bomber always thought he was doing the right thing with Zara, but he soon realizes he wasn’t. The plot twist is WOW. I can’t wait for more of this series.
Bomber is the second book in the War Brothers MC series. It's a steamy, second-chance, mc romantic suspense. Bomber (Knox) is a hunky ex- military man and now current Sargeant at Arms for his MC club. Zara was his first love, but tragedy parted them. Now she is back after 9 years, and he still wants to, and will, protect her. They never stopped loving each other, but Zara is afraid of being hurt again. The characters had great chemistry, but the story seemed to be focused more on the mystery of what happened to Zara's family versus their romance. Overall, though, this was an enjoyable read with a happy ending.

Bomber and Zara are given their second chance when Zara comes back home after leaving everything behind after a tragic incident. There are so many unanswered questions and now that Bomber is Sargeant of Arms for the War Brothers MC maybe they will get some questions answered.
This was a crazy ride with the unknown and the connection between Bomber and Zara which made this a big page turner.
Bomber and Zaras story is heartbreaking and lovely. Please be mindful of the triggers (self harm, mental ill health, grief) this is no lighthearted read. But it's really well written, full of twists and turns, secrets and chemistry. If I was being picky, I'd have liked a bit more communication between the main characters and it felt a little obvious. But I really liked it and I loved the War Brothers MC family. Looking forward to Vipers story.

Bomber is such a good read. The characters are well developed. The back story and their childhood helps you understand them as adults. Zara and Bomber are childhood sweethearts. Zara is gutted with the disappearance of her sister. She needs more help than Bomber can give her. Years later the two are brought back together for her missing sister 9 year vigil. The past comes back with answers most will not like. Can Zara survive answers she may not like?.

Loved it!!!! WOW.. Loved reading Bomber. This book was SO GOOD and I had so many emotions when I was reading this book. Some parts had me laughing and then crying and I was so hoping that Zara, Knox and Kane would find out what happened to Misty so they could finally have peace and I was totally shocked with what happened at the end. Loved this story!!
Bomber is book 2 in the ‘War Brothers MC’ series and tells the story of Knox (aka Bomber) and Zara. They were in a loving relationship 10 years ago but tragedy struck which tore them apart. 10 years later they meet again and old feelings resurface but can they rebuild and sustain a relationship - they can if Knox has anything to do with it!
There’s lots of twists and turns, secrets and heartbreak and red hot steamy passion in this second chance MC romance. This is a well written book with a captivating storyline that I enjoyed immensely. Can’t wait for the next instalment in the series, which will be Viper’s story.
I received an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What read this was. This is my second book by this author and the 2nd book in this series and I am hooked. I loved and hated Zara and Knox in the beginning of the book, but then as it unfolded I saw all the hurt and secrets that was really the problem. I loved seeing all the family from the MC through out the book and look forward to additional books about them. I loved the twists and unexpected turns this book took and just wanted to keep reading to see how it would all end up. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest review.
This is another perfect book in the series. I adore every part of the story . You go through so many emotions. The perfect amount of drama, romance, action and steam. Absolutely epic.
Bomber is the second volume of the War Brothers MC , it's a second chance story, full of emotion, tension and suspense.
Bomber and Zara are true soulmates, separated by tragedy. They meet again 8 years later, and although they can't deny that their attraction is still there, there's still a lot of pain and hurt. I'm not a big fan of second-chance stories, but in this case it was perfect. Bianca Lee Ward gives us an emotional story, beautifully written and highly addictive.
I can only recommend this series ed MC romance, which will undoubtedly delight all lovers of the genre.
Knox and Zara are old flame. A family tragedy strikes causing them to part. Ten years later and they meet again, the attraction and chemistry is still as strong, so is their love for each. Trust is a issue but a mutual enemy that is determined to cause trouble for them. With secret and lies, twists and turns, these two have a lot to over come
Loved.

This was a good addition to the series. It brought back a lot of the same characters but didn’t reveal too much about the previous book. That way they both work as standalones even though I recommend reading both. I look forward to reading more.
Side note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review
This story has moments of self-awareness, self-doubt, and pure love. I like the way Bomber makes his intentions with Zara clear. Zara is a force to be reckoned with and her taming is the utmost decision that she has to make. I love the way Bomber takes care of her and allows her to be herself and to realize who she is and accept what she wants.
Knox/Bomber and Zara has formed a bond that can never be broken. Knox & Zara are couple along with her sister, Misty & Kane, Knox's brother. Those four were peas in a pod but a secret known by three cause a rift that Zara does not know about but the ultimate secret of Misty's disappearance bring is all to a crashing and exploding pain.
I thought the book was too detailed and lost a little enthusiasm because there seems to be some missing information that about doesn't come til then end. I love the start and the closeness of the four but I think there should have been a little more focus on each couples parents and the atmosphere of each house.
Thanks to BookSirens for this ARC. I really enjoyed my time with this book, although the only 2 things that just didn't add up were how Misty just poofed out of existence without any explanation just that she went missing and it was more of an after thought, also the time jumps didn't add up to me either. To me I was like where's the plot in this? It was good though more character driven I feel.
Loved the first book this one. No Where is the romance, the lead up to getting back together, the conversations about the past, the spice ? Very disappointed with this one.
I was so excited to get this ARC because I got the ARC for the first book in the series and I really liked it. But I’m sad to say this book did not live up to the hype I gave it in my head. So this is going to be a little bit of a rant because I wasn’t expecting to give it 3 stars.
So Zara and Knox fell in love when they were 18. Tragedy strikes in their life and Zara doesn’t handle it well and Knox thinks the best thing for her would be breaking up with her because she’s become too dependent on him. We see a lot from the before but the breakup isn’t shown. Ten years later Zara comes back to town and Knox decides he wants her back.
The romance was definitely secondary to the mystery. I mean they hardly spoke about what happened all those years ago and in the years since. They don’t even talk about their feelings for one another. Zara sees him and ten minutes later she’s the one jumping on him because her body betrayed her and she couldn’t resist. There wasn’t much personality in either of the characters. Most of the book revolves around Zara’s grief and it’s her every waking thought. She was either thinking about that or how hot Knox was. And I thought Knox was going to do something like fight for her but he didn’t even have to do anything. He never apologized or really even tried to explain what happened when he broke up her. He hardly ever spoke at all. He gave dirty looks to anyone who touched her but he didn’t even talk to her himself most of the time. There was absolutely NO groveling. I get he thought he was doing it for her own good but he still broke up with her, broke her heart and this man doesn’t even apologize for it. Instead Zara is the only who apologizes.
Also Knox was in the military and he’s obviously changed according to people who know him but it’s not even talked about how his time in the service affected him or changed him at all.
Idk if Knox thinks him hiring escorts to sleep with is better than him having sex with the woman at the clubhouse but I’ll tell you that’s it’s not. To sleep with an escort this man literally had to go OUT OF HIS WAY to go and hire someone for sex. He went out looking for it instead of it happening when he was drunk and vulnerable and someone came to him. It’s infinitely worse that he hired these WOMEN. Multiple. While he knew exactly where Zara was the whole time, even driving there to stalk her. So what, he went and checked on her and then came home and called up an escort to have sex with? And what does Zara do when she finds out about this? Absolutely nothing! Because this woman has no backbone whatsoever. And he tells her “it’s always been you” apparently not if he’s hired MULTIPLE woman to sleep with. It’s been her and a bunch of others. I’m a little angry about this. Can you tell?
But really Zara was no better. She managed to make EVERYTHING about her. She forgot that she wasn’t the only person going through something. I hated how selfish she was.
In the authors note she states this book was her first one written before Reaper and it makes sense. Which is why I won’t give up on her, I’m hoping Viper is just as good as Reaper was.
NO CHEATING NO OW DRAMA WE HAVE NO IDEA IF THE FMC HAS HAD SEX WITH ANYONE OTHER THAN KNOX I DONT THINK MMC IS A MANWHORE BUT HE HIRED ESCORTS MULTIPLE TIMES
While Bomber is the second book in the series, I haven't read the first one, but I was still able to follow the story and track the characters of the War Brothers MC.
Bomber's story is about Knox and Zara. The book begins with them in their late teens, massively in love and inseparable, a bond made only better by the fact that Knox's brother and Zara's sister were also in love. However, their love is also what tore them all apart. When Zara's sister Misty mysteriously goes missing without a trace and everyone is consumed by grief, all three remaining characters break away, and their bond fractures. 10 years after Misty goes missing, the three of them reconnect to try and get answers, and Knox and Zara realise they aren't over. They still love each other.
I really liked the way the author dealt with the character's grief and mental health. She showed a real insight into their coping mechanisms, be they alcohol, self-harm, or just closing themselves off from life. Knox tries to hold everything together for his brother and his love, but he struggles with the pressure too. It's his inner strength and determination that eventually lead to everybody getting the closure they need and deserve, although there are a lot of twists and turns.
I enjoyed the mystery element as it was pieced together about what happened to Misty, but I did feel the book needed more communication between Knox and Zara about everything, really. More about what happened when Misty first went missing, more about what happened in their lives while they were apart, what the MC and Knox's role there means, and the implications that have for Zara, but there was none of it; it was all glossed over.
The side characters were great and added humour and softness when the main characters couldn't, and I look forward to seeing and experiencing more of them as the series progresses.
This is book 3 in Ward's War Brothers MC series. Another great addition to the series that while it can be read / listened to as a standalone, I love it all the better as part of the series with some recurring characters. I love how MC romances tend to show the brotherhood that's developed within them, and this book is no exception to that. Our main characters are Zara and Bomber - whose real name Knox is used just as much if not more than his road name. These two main characters were once together and in love as youngsters. Thier families were close, and their siblings were also an item...then, one day the unthinkable happened and all their lives turned upside down. Almost a decade later some of the wounds still haven't healed and answers haven't been found. A captivating and well written MC romance storyline that flows well and will have you riveted with mystery, hurt and healing as well as sweet and steamy romance. The dual narration was perfection in bringing all our characters to life. I loved this addition to the series so much as well as catching up and seeing some of the other MC brothers - I love their banter and loyalty to each other. Can't wait for more in this series!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read.
This is the third in the "War Brothers MC" and can be enjoyed as a stand alone read/listen. Although not necessary, I would suggest reading them in order. There are connected characters. I listened to the audio book on Spotify and enjoyed every bit of the story. The narration was nicely down with two narrators. The MC was started by three tight buddies who served together in the military and includes other ex-military men. They are a family and have a few club women that are shared, which cause problems when they feel threatened. Slowly the MC men are falling for a new lady. This story is about the Bomber, the Sergeant at Arms, and Zara, the one he had to let go. He gave his heart away a long time ago. Although he was told to let her go he always kept an eye on her. Zara lost her sister under mysterious circumstances. She completely feel apart and succumbed to depression and every year on the anniversary of her sisters disappearance she cuts herself. Zara is coming home for a service for her sister. This starts the second chance for Zara and Bomber. As the story unravels so does their worlds. I love the characters! This is such a good story! I love the witty and fun banter. The club brothers are great! This is an emotional story with some unbelievable twists. Will they finally get closure?
