These books are a treasure for the creative mind! And not only for children, I fully intend to have them in my own collection. Having led several creativity workshops for adults, I find that these books address the major roadblocks to a creative life that most of us ran up against in childhood and never found a way to get around. Everything from believing in your unique creative vision to dealing with criticism. These books are something you'll want to read and revisit from time to time. Simple, yet powerful!

I absolutely love this set. I first encountered "The Dot" back when I was studying in university and fell absolutely in love with it to the point I scoured every single bookstore I could find for it. It wasn't until my friend in Canada was able to find this box set for me, and I love "Ish" and "Sky Colors" as much. I can't wait for the day my son can enjoy this book with me.

Finally art books for kids that relay the message of art is in everything and art is what you want it to be. It’s personal, it tells a story and comes from you. Great message for kids as they compare themselves to others.
