This was a fascinating book that shed light onto the art of mediumship, channeling, and spirit communications. Elaine Kazmeskus is a knowledgeable subject matter expert and delivered the information clearly and not overloaded in detail. She started with the history of mediumship dating back to ancient times (Egyptians, Greeks, Tibetan, etc) up to modern spiritualist mediums.

I found the explanation of Natural Law really good. She explained the purpose and weight of karma, the Law of Thought, the Law on Continuity, the Law of Abundance, and the Law of Compensation. This is where is read
We create our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey nature's physical and Divine laws. pg 39
Kuzmeskus went on to explain the art of mediumship with lots of topics: mental and physical mediumship, dream visitations, meditation portals and spirit guides, opening the third eye and auras, and more topics.

One thing I learned was of a fee famous people who were visited by spirits in the form of dream visitations to give information. These included authors Jules Verne, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Jack Kerouac, and Graham Green. Even leading physicist Niels Bohr was given information about the structure of an atom from his sleep. (pgs 51-2)

Mental mediumship:

1. Clairaudience: hearing voices from spirits or music, or other noises from the spirit world.

2. Clairgustance: experiencing certain smells or tastes.

3. Clairsentience: sensing the presence of spirits.

4. Clairvoyance: psychic seeing and visions.

5. Psychometry: ability to read vibrations and energy from holding an object.

Physical mediumship:

1. Direct voice: an audible voice hear by all in a séance.

2.Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP): spirit voices and intelligent sounds produced by electronic devices.

3. Psychic photography: the ability to capture the image of a spirit on film.

4. Psychokinesis: the movement of objects/people without physical means of support.

5. Table Tipping: spirit communication by means of table knocks or movement

6. Transfiguration: a mask of ectoplasm covering the medium's features so that the face of a spirit may appear.

Overall this was a well-crafted narrative on explaining mediumship and spirit communication. I would recommend this to anyone interested in occult or spiritualism studies. Thanks!

Elaine Kuzmeskus, MS, is a well known Medium. She has conducted many seances, presentations, and consultations regarding the supernatural world and the paranormal. She is nationally recognized as a Spiritualist.

In this book, Elaine details the history of "Mediumship", explaining what it is and how it works. She also explains how one can develop their gifts and skills.

In one chapter, Elaine balances science with the Afterlife, going into the "natural law" of each.

The book is very detailed in its research and explanations, particularly of "Mediumship". She also discusses Spiritual Guides, other types of "guides", psychic detectives, and medical clairvoyants.

There are many illustrations, photos, resources, a glossary, and notes to support her information. Whether you believe or not is your choice, but this is a very fascinating book, regardless.

Informative if you’re new to this stuff, but the ending seemed pointless and repetitive.
