Sound biblical age appropriate advice that my daughter and I can read through together. Addresses handling issues in a way that is in line with God’s word. Is interactive, references scripture, and I love the bullet point summaries. Haven’t finished it yet, which is why I have given it 4/5, but it’s pretty great so far! Helpful and enjoyable for both parent and teen.

Another book as a gift that I am reading first to ensure all is good, and it certainly is. I have read a few books by this author so I should be aware that all would be fine, but it isms good reminder to my own self as I read it, as even though it is marketed towards a younger reader of an opposing gender many of the principles still apply.
A good solid read with very practical applications and activities to complete.

MY REVIEW:

Elizabeth George is one of my favorite authors due to her sound Biblical content combined with practical and daily application. In this book she continues that Biblical and practical content in a fun, upbeat, and youth-focused way.

Each chapter in the book opens with an excerpt about a girl named Hannah and her story builds through out the book. In a very godly and appropriate way, Elizabeth talks to teen girls about the choices they face every day and how to make choices that glorify God. The book overall is easy and fun to read with great questions that can be discussed in a group or used alone for journaling prompts.

While this book is probably best for 13 to 16 year-olds, it could be used by any age teen girl or in any teen girl group setting. It makes for a great group Bible study when the girls read the first half of the chapter and then work through the questions and Scripture as a group.

This book was great. I feel that this book really is helpful for a young teenage girl, because being one myself I understand that life can be a shipwreck. But, in this guide it allows you the opportunity to step closer to GOD in your everyday life. It prepares you for the choices you should make when improving your friendship, avoiding trouble, and setting standards for friendships with guys. This book will help a girl to finally understand her life and become a better person. I would recommend this book.

I LOVED this book.
I didn't really care for the excerpt about the "Rebel" girl.
Though I did lke it that she turned around in the end.

But the explanaton about how to make the right choices from guys to eating was amazing! It really inspired me.

A Must read for any girl who is serious about learing more about Jesus.

Even though I am no longer a teenager, I still found this book beneficial since I am not quite in that stage of my life where I can read Elizabeth Georges book for Women/Wives/Moms, etc. I recommend this book especially if your a teenage girl and even a college-aged girl since it is for 'Young Women'. I read a chapter a day and I even highlighted in it.
