In this heartfelt memoir, motivational speaker and life coach Keith D. Harrell writes passionately about the lessons he learnt from his parents, grandmother, teachers, coaches, mentors and friends as he overcame stuttering to become one of the nation's top-ranked professional speakers.
I had the honor to see/hear Keith Harrell speak at work related event in the early 2000s. At the time, I was unhappy with my job, grieving the loss of my Mom, and struggling financially. His presentation lifted me, which helped me to view my situation in a way that led me to make positive changes. I will never forget that event, I will never forget Keith Harrell and his motivational positivity, and I still speak to people about him. I have purchased and shared his books with coworkers, friends, and family, and will continue to share his superfantastic life experiences with them!
The message is good, but it is much hidden in the book. When I was reading the book, it was like I was reading a autobiography of a basketball player for half of the book and then an employee of IBM and public speaker for the other half. there are mini conclusion section at the end of each chapter that relates the life of Keith Harrell to some attitude related paragraphs.
