Hi, I’m James Lusarde.

I’m a man who loves books, words and literature.

I love how a writer can create fictional worlds out of nothing more than words – which in the old days, meant just ink and paper – and yet these powerful fictional stories about fictional people can move and entice us, and tell us very real truths about ourselves.

In a sense, fiction is more real than reality.

Books. Stories. I love them with all my heart. They become part of our own lives, and are indispensible to the very act of living.

When you stop to think about it, isn’t a book – or ebook – a fascinating and powerful, mysterious and magical thing?

I’m also fascinated by the wonder and mystery of women, love, and romance.

Therefore I write romance and erotica.

Erotic splendour at it's most magnificent

This book took my breath away and took me to a place where I felt that I had never truly experienced the mystery and fundamental physical power of a sexual act before.

The outstanding imagery and sheer beauty of this story unfolds and draws you in and allows you to share the experience to it's utmost.

Once again James Lusarde has shown his absolute mastery of erotic prose at it's utmost beautiful best.

This story unfolds and not only tugs at your heartstrings but also leaves you wanting to experience the beauty and earth shattering quintessential feelings it evokes.

There is a twist to this fantastic read but as I loathe spoilers you will have to read this book to find out more.

Once again James Lusarde has produced an emotional and physical masterpiece which I have given a very well deserved 5 stars.

I eagerly anticipate his next offering.

The Lady Loves to Strip by James Lusarde is an unequivocally beautiful story. Set in London in the summer the story revolves around a young taxi driver and his anonymous fare. Lusarde takes his time to describe the stunning London scenery, which adds to the ambiance and richness of the piece.

This short story is not what you expect in any way, shape or form. From the title I thought I would be reading a story about a conventional stripper, but instead Lusrade creates a subtle, sexual and surprising narrative centred on the desire of the female fare to be free, which is portrayed through her body.

The Lady Loves to Strip is reminiscent of Venus in Furs with the idolatry of the female character, the taxi driver worships her beauty and freedom as every day she strips further and further in to the back of his cab. The slow pace of the writing mirrors the slow sexy act - rather than rushing the description of the scene and her body, the author savours every touch, every moment, building the eroticism of the union.

What I particularly enjoyed was the little twist at the end, I do not want to spoil this wonderfully well-written story, but it was a surprising and for me romantic idea. Lusrade is brave enough to add a touch of melancholic longing to his story, which is a rare trait especially in a short erotic story. However, I never felt cheated by this fact, instead it made the connection between these two strangers even more powerful and beautiful.

Needless to say I loved this story for its originality, twists and purely stunning descriptions!

W O W… I am totally speechless, which doesn’t really bode well for a review now does it?

James Lusarde’s novella, “The Lady Loves to Strip” really took my breath away. Not only for the erotic nature of the short story but for the vivid imagery, so perfectly described as if it was a movie reel playing in my mind, not just the written words of an eBook. Each scene tangible; truly captivating the beauty and emotion within.

I loved the male character; the story being told from his point of view. It felt at times, he was talking directly to the reader, as if I was not just reading the story, but he was secretly sharing this intimate experience with me.

This beautifully written tale combines the sensuality of man and woman, a touch of sadness that leaves you with an ache in your heart and a twist that you will not see coming but appreciate the writer all the more for.

I give “The Lady Loves to Strip” a very deserving 5 stars and I’m looking forward to more of James Lusarde’s beautiful work.

The summertime. The warm caress of the summer breezes. The silkiness of smooth skin. The delight of a kiss. The remembered passion. Mr. Lusarde has blown me away with this short erotic story. Most definitely NOT a story to read on a plane with children screaming in one ear, and a nosy "neighbor" on the other side.

This author's work is always lyrical so it's easy to become absorbed in his words. And, 'The Lady Loves to Strip' is no different. I loved the first half, but my attention was lost towards the end. The story is alluring and well written.

Overall I enjoyed this story. I like to refer to it as erotic poetry. The only issue I had was that it was a bit slow and confusing in the beginning. The good stuff starts in middle... Wonderful descriptions.
