Panoramic view of a narcissistic situation

There are many self-help books out there that discuss the issue of dealing with narcissism from a victims perspective. This one stands out with two points from my view - it points out how being a victim is romanticized and how a victim should learn to take responsibility.

The author has compiled an exhaustive list of how's and why's, sweeping all things from under the rug to the open. Even the fact that a victim runs the risk of becoming the abuser if caught in the situation too long. There is also mention of how men can be victims as well. Something that gets ignored when it comes to the topic of narcissism.

I would highly recommend reading this one if you are in this unfortunate situation. It is a thoroughly researched and well put together guide to overcome and recover from a self-centered abuser.
