The Setting: Chicago

The Hero(s): Oren - raised by a junkie mother, he ends up in Juvie in his teens. When he gets out his father dies. His father worked for a Senator in Chicago and the Senator pays for his flight and the funeral. Oren saves his daughter that night and falls in love at first sight.

The heroine: Kenzie - drugged an nearly assaulted in her father’s home while throwing a party, she was saved by an unknown protector. She has dreamed of him and romanticized him ever since.

The Love Story:Kenzie doesn’t know it but she has a stalker and it is the guy that protected her six years ago. He has killed for her and gotten rid of every potential boyfriend she has ever had because she is his.

I generally like stalker stories, though in real life I hate stalkers and men who are overly possessive. For some reason in romance novels, jealous, possessive men are sexy (to me), stalkers aren’t as creepy as in real life and a guy who kidnaps a woman isn’t necessarily bad. Well he is bad, but not evil. Anyway, I liked the beginning of this book when Oren is stalkerific, but after Kenzie finally meets him, the story goes downhill a bit.

Like I said above, what I like in romance novels is not always copacetic in real life. However, I don’t always like when people’s reactions to these things don’t have anything normal about them. Of course most girls won’t fall for their stalker or kidnapper, but to fall for them and say “I love you” within 24 hours of meeting them and learning that they have been stalking you for years and are obsessed with you? That defies all credulity. So I just wish this one was longer.

3 Obsession is Possessive Stars ⭐

The saviour turned stalker. Mackenzie Shipley has always felt his presence, but it has taken 6 years for him to make himself known.

I know there’s something wrong with me. I know it’s fucked up how I toy and meddle with her life. But love makes us do crazy things. Obsession only makes it worse.

There is no reasoning with Oren Frey. It started as a random act of kindness, which escalated over the years. Although he lingers in the shadows, Oren can’t help interfering in Kenzie’s life without her knowledge. She’ll soon figure out why at 24 years old, no man lingers, let alone lays a finger on her…

So I wait, and I watch. I’d call myself her guardian angel, but that’s bullshit. I’m no angel. So let’s call me her guardian devil. I might be a sinner, but I’ve dedicated my life to keeping worse ones from laying their hands on her.

Kenzie’s memories are shady at best over what went down 6 years ago. All she remembers is silver eyes and salvation. But when the past and present collide, can she accept the man that Oren is, and the crucial role he’s played in her life?

Stalker of Mine was a great way to spend a couple of hours. It wasn’t over the top and I enjoyed the development between Oren and Kenzie. I guess it didn’t wow me, however I would definitely try Jagger Cole again. I quite enjoyed how his twisted little mind works!

I have a yummy taste for stalkers lol idk why but lord I do enjoy them. This one was fast pace and some steam and drama..

kenzie has had horrible dating luck all the men have just left or changed their minds its not a huge deal for her but she does get alil lonely. And she wishes everyday she knew who was the guy who saved her 6 years ago from that horrible night. Oren has been watching his angle making sure no one touches what's his making sure all the bad seeds and good ones stay far away from his girl. He saved her when she was drugged and almost assaulted. Even if he has to watch from afar for now.

Once again someone tries to attack her and Oren saves her and showing her the person who saved her years ago. But now someone is trying to make Kenzie think her dark knight Oren is one of her almost rapist from 6 years ago. Oren has to show his girl even if he is obsessed he would never do anything to hurt her... and Kenzie has to find out the truth.

Low angst ,Tiny om drama and no ow drama(one date and H ran him off), no cheating, slight secondary character, Drama, sexy times, both virgins (H runs off any guy lol love a alpha obsessed guy)

Years later when the past rears its ugly head, Oren is forced to come out of the shadows.  
 
So, this was my first Jagger Cole read. I really liked Oren and his touch-her-and-💀 energy. Despite the novella length, the shared history provided enough info to keep the relationship from feeling terribly underdeveloped. My biggest issue was the choppy dialogue during the smexy times. They were hard to read and that’s my favorite part…

Not boring and i love when a heroine have so many guys liking her and want to date her. Like thats just not what you read or come across on every book these days lol. And even though many guys likes her and try to flirt with her, the heroine have a good standard for a guy and not a cheap woman lol

The heroine did go to many dates because she didn’t know about the hero yet because the hero don’t want to show himself. But in those dates, like i said, the heroine never kissed them and most of them bailed her out like goes away because of the hero told them or rather scared them away and threatened them😂 BUT AFTER THEY GOT TOGETHER, NO SEPARATION.

Why do I love stalker romances so much? Who knows what it says about me but there's something incredibly sexy about a man that only has eyes for one woman.

Kenzie has never had good luck in the dating world and finds herself lonely and wishing for the man that saved her many years ago during a horrific evening.

Oren has been watching Kenzie and keeping her safe since the night he saved her life and has his reasons for keeping afar. However, he has to step in again and when Kenzie sets her eyes on him she knows he is the man for her. But outside forces are spreading lies and trying to tear them apart. Can Oren and Kenzie make it out unscathed?

I enjoyed this immensely. I do think it lacked a little bit of character development and thus relationship development as well. However, the steam was yummy and the plot entertaining. Overall, a good read!

This whole thing didn't make sense. The fmc was so stupid. Also, how are you going to wake up in this random man's house and see photos of yourself all over the wall and still have sex with him? This needs to be a bit more realistic lol.

3 👀 Stalking 👀 Stars
It’s no secret I find crazy people quite entertaining, and stalkers are up there on my psycho-book-BF lists. This is a quick read; the pace is fast, but it stays pretty surfacy. Oren has been watching over Kenzie from the shadows for the past 6 years since he rescued her from being raped. He’s resolved to staying behind the scenes until danger has him making a move.

It’s a slower burn, and takes about 60% to get to the double virgin action. Oren was pretty cute for a nutter. His honest admissions of his crazy were comical. Kenzie started out ok, but wandered into TSTL territory that got old. The relationship/actions aren’t really developed; they just happen, which might be in part because of the limited page time.

Bottom Line- Fast moving, shallow, stalker romance with some steam. It’s only about 160 pgs, so there’s a lot of showing, but it was a pretty entertaining quick, fluff read.

Safe, he ruined every date she went on, she never met him at this point. He was over the top obsessed but oddly enough I'm ok with it. What ruined it was her tstl moments, she absolutely ruined it for me, ruined it!!! Sorry I got a little dramatic but sheesh, I hated her. Ugh to the epilogue.

I was in the mood for a good stalker romance with some serious insta-love vibes and if that's your thing this will definitely fit the bill. The hero is already a stalker but he takes it one step further sometimes killing threats to the heroine and even offering potential suitors of the heroine ultimatums to leave her alone. That being said the hero makes this a much darker novel than I was expecting. It all begins when he rescues her from a would be assault and becomes her secret guardian angel for years. Both are virgins which worked with his obsession because when he first rescues her he'd just been released from juvie. Usually I'm fine with the stalking aspect as it in some deluded way can be hot but this guy took stalking very seriously. We're talking cameras everywhere, knowing her schedule and basically shadowing her every moment of the day. Made for a good quick read!

For a book written by a man, this was pretty darn good y'all. Honestly, I'm over the whole clichéd manwhore H x virgin h trope. It ain't it. That's probably why I liked seeing the virgin x virgin trope in this one - especially since it's a stalker romance and truly shows the depth of Oren's obsession with Kenzie. I mean, fair's fair right? He chases off other men that want to date her and doesn't even once look at another woman while she obsesses over the guy who saved her six years ago. Gotta love that shit ifykyk. One thing's for sure though...this def won't be my last read by Jagger Cole. I look forward to reading more of his work (since he's probably the only male author whose books I think I would actually enjoy and aren't cringey AF/don't reflect the outlook of the general male population when it comes to women lmao).

P.S. Kenzie did do certain stupid things that made me wanna bang my head against the wall but it wasn't anything too major. An overall quick and enjoyable read for me!

It's my 2nd book of this author, but I already think it's gonna be my favorite of his. It did exceed my expectations, though to some ppl, there could be some minor issues, but personally I don't think that they are much relevant, maybe it's because I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to my beloved stalkers' books 😂😂.
And although we didn't get to spend more time together, Oren is veeryy possibly going to be on my all-time favorite stalkers list.

5💫 as far as this being a legit stalker read. I had this on my buddy-read list for quite a while, but heard about Oren in Prince of Hate. I think the best part of the story was Oren's vicious and unapologetic obsession towards Kenzie. His inner thoughts were hilarious and made this a very entertaining read. I was a bit annoyed at some of Kenzie's actions (quite dumb imo) but she gets leeway for not knowing what's going on.

Overall, a quick and enjoyable read. If you're looking for a stalker read, Oren will definitely give you that fix.

Oren has been watching over Mackenzie Shipley for years. Kenzie has no idea that she has become his obsession nor does she know that he has taken car of every threat that has come her way for years. When she is put in danger again, Oren is there but this time she is going to become his.

This was intriguing, a lot of back and forth over time that I felt set the story up but I missed the connection between Kenzie and Oren Overall it had moments that were really good, just a bit darker than I was expecting.

This story is fast-paced, full of action and suspense. It has deliciously dark undertones that I absolutely loved! The almost unspeakable happened to Kenzie 6 years ago and she just wants to put that night behind her except for her savior with the gray eyes, at least she thinks. Oren protected her that night and he has ever since even going so far as obsessing over her and stalking her. What will Kenzie do when she comes face-to-face with her savior/ stalker?

Oren rescued Kenzie from a bad situation 6 years ago and it took just one look at her to change the path of his life.

Only thing is Kenzie doesn’t know she belongs to him.

Kenzie has never forgotten her savior, but she knows she will most likely never see him again. She also doesn’t fully remember all that happened 6 years ago. Because of this she finds herself in dangerous situations and Oren has to come out of the shadows to once again save her. His obsession with her borders on creepy and some of the things he does are definitely OTT.

Everytime I come across a romance novel or or erotic one, written by a man - I approach it with great curiosity. Men are in a minority when it comes to writing in this genre. This is my second meeting with the author - and yet another successful one. "Stalker of mine" due to the character of the stalker can certainly be classified as a book with a slightly dark subject. The stalking theme has been well led, and it starts in the past of both main characters. Story is conducted in the present time, but we also have chapters from the past - which help to better understand why certain events took place. The story of Kenzie and Oren is not typical, but it's definitely worth reading - especially for lovers of darker climates, who like to feel the thrill. The book contains a lot of emotions, both bigger and smaller ones. At the end, all the pieces fit perfectly in the puzzle. As for the main characters, Kenzie had moments when her behaviour annoyed me - she was getting into troubles of her own making. As for Oren, I have no objection to him being dark, rude and not even trying to hide it- - although it can not be denied,that he is not the bad guy in this story.

I recommend this book -it's not your everyday romance novel. It's well-written, and I have been drawn to the story since the beginning. I couldn’t (and wouldn’t! want to!) to put it away. And - it's dark, so fans of such stories will be pleased. The advantage of this book is that the author thought the story thoroughly, everything happens for a reason. The only disadvantage I could point out is Kenzie going too fast, after discovering the truth about Oren, but this doesn't spoil the reception - let's remember that this is literary fiction. I highly recommend this book and I will certainly look for other books by the author.

3.5 stars. This was a safe and okay read to pass the time and I like the way it was written. H is a stalker but not the toxic kind. He's completely obsessed with the h and has been watching and protecting her from afar for 6 years even killed for her. Both H and h are virgins. She is it for him. I'm not a big fan of the heroine, though, and I wish this was longer. It would be nice to see more character development between the MCs. Their moments together fell short and kind of lacked for me. That being said, I'll definitely read more from this author.

This book is gorgeous those people that’s in the mood for a fast paced, crazy H that was obsessed with the heroine.

I felt bad towards the h, she got drugged a lot and lots of men liked her, most of them were creeps including the H, lol. He stalked Kenzie for 6 years and had been in love with her at first sight.

Kenzie had been fantasizing about him without knowing who he was, just knew he was the one who saved her back when she was drugged and almost assaulted by guys.

A quick read and an escapism for me.
