She was an innocent bride. Then I made her mine.

The moment I saw Natasha Page standing at the altar, waiting for a fiancé whose lies had already cost him his life and put hers in danger, I knew she would be speaking her vows today after all.

To me.

I could have claimed her that night, ravaging her quivering virgin body as brutally as my lust demanded. But I made her beg before I tore off that beautiful dress and took what belongs to me.

Because I don't just want her vows. I want her heart.

Publisher's   Stolen Vows includes spankings, rough, intense sexual scenes, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

Sergei is a Russian mafia man who is making his stamp in Chicago in a brutal and methodical way. He has set his eyes on Natasha, a beautiful young woman who is about to be married to a terrible man. His choices alter her life forever.
I loved Natasha’s naïveté, her innocence was refreshing and endearing. But Sergei’s strength and dominance was pleasing as well as fun to read.
Great story!

Stolen Vows was confusing. There wasn't much plot, the story dragged a lot and I just didn't understand the world or the motivations behind anything.

I liked Sergei a whole lot. He was dominant and possessive but also tender and emotional when moments needed it. Natasha was insufferable. There wasn't a single thing I liked about her. I've liked a few of Sara's books but this didn't work for me. Two stars for Sergei.

"I was going to savor each and every delicious moment of this until I earned her absolute surrender. I didn’t care how long it took, because she was mine.

Hang on and will say buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! This isn’t your usual mafia of forced marriage technically Natasha on the day of her wedding her fiancé doesn’t show up but a stranger shows up claiming to know more about why her fiancé didn’t show up explaining that he wasn’t going to show up he owes a lot of debt to the wrong people, he is there to protect her but to do that she has to marry him right then taking his last name now normally she wouldn’t just marry a stranger but something pulls her in the attraction shouldn’t be this intense that and she likes living. Sergei sexy as all get out Bratva a little on the grumpy side, ruthless when needed, most definitely dangerous when needed but the moment he saw the beauty he had to have her and no he didn’t feel bad about what her fiancé got it is exactly what he deserved because she deserved so much better. The attraction is there from the moment he walked into the church but there are punishments for disobedience although, he hasn’t made an effort to reach out and touch her yet the longer he holds out the stronger the pull between them but will she be able to handle all that he is, will she regret her decision to marry him, will she find out the real truth about her fiancé, will he earn her trust, and can they truly have their own happiness considering how unconventional their situation?.

Natasha was to be married her fiancé arranged for her and then he doesn’t show up. Sergei ends up marrying her instead. Natasha will follow his rules or Sergei plans to punish his new wife. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with intense chemistry and steamy scenes. I liked it.

A mutual agreement

This one’s a hot one, so you may want to have your fan on standby before you start. The author started with an unexpected beginning and ended with a bang. I enjoyed how the bride was rescued in her time of need from a very unlikely source. But was it by accident or by design that the perfect opportunity was placed in this alpha males path. The book may have started out fast, but the path to their HEA went completely at her pace. To be honest I wasn’t sure we were ever going to get there, but once we did the story was fast moving and over well before I wanted it to be.

Hmm yes please.

This book was amazing. Sergei is every bit of a gentlemen while still being a beast. He knows what he wants and goes after it with everything he has. Natasha is every bit the woman he needs and quickly grows into her role. The plot to this short story is quite well written and thought out. Like most of Sara's books, the spice was amazing, but there was a good amount of back story, action, suspense, angst and steam. I quite enjoyed this one.

This didn't work for me, for a few reasons.

Most annoyingly, perhaps, is the characterization of Natasha. She was annoyingly sexually repressed, with an overemphasis on shame and embarrassment despite being really turned on and knowing Sergei was too and being married to him. She often wanted to say or do things but felt shameful for literally no reason and wouldn't do anything. Oh, and she never mourned for her ex-fiance? Really?? The one person she was close to in her life, and the day she finds out he was murdered and she marries a stranger, she immediately starts comparing how much better her stranger husband is than her ex-fiance ever was.

Second, there's really no interesting interactions between Natasha and Sergei to form a connection outside of getting hardons for each other. I guess I just prefer MCs who communicate and find things in common and have a reason for loving each other. Weird, right?

These two things combined left the spanking scenes and the sex scenes just feeling empty and offputting. And I just really wasn't down with the whole "bow to my demands or I will spank you, and if you keep arguing, I'll whip you with my belt" relationship dynamic instead of communicating like fucking adults why your demands are reasonable and necessary.

And lastly, not a lot happens. It's a fairly short book but yet it dragged on with internal monologues about the same things over and over (Sergei repeatedly thinking he won't have sex with her until she asks and Natasha repeatedly thinking she doesn't want to ask), or we have to read Natasha outline every single boring thing she does that that day.

I struggled with the writing I got to chapter 8 and everything that’s happened up until this point (a wedding, 2 dinners, a killing, and a little bit of spice but not a lot) could’ve been done in 3-4 chapters. It’s dragging on too much and I’m not invested enough to keep going.

Natasha was supposed to marry her fiancé who leaves her at the altar. All the guests leave and she’s left in the church when Sergei comes in and tells her that her fiancé had a lot of debts and the only way out for her was to marry him. There was no questioning or debate she just went with it. The rest of what I read was her being horny and weak. She doesn’t question anything even when random women undress her in the back of a restaurant or when she see Sergei kill a man.

I expected this book to be darker but honestly I didn’t think it was that dark but I know that can be subjective as well. The romance was good. I liked that Segei never forced Natasha, even in getting married. It was her choice. He discussed and waited for her to ask to initiate intimacies. The pace was a bit slow for me but overall a good read.

“I was a patient man. I already knew the prize would be well worth the wait.”

I usually love Sara’s books. The Dragon King, Alien Conqueror and Take Me Daddy are some of my most recent favorites. I was fully prepared to love this book as well, but I just couldn’t. I liked Sergei. For a hard core Bratva he was surprisingly tender emotionally. I really do believe he fell in love with her the moment he met her. He also had incredible patience, which he needed. Natasha was a brat with a capital B. She was silly, self-centered, and emotionally immature. To be honest, I don’t have any idea what he saw in her. He could do do much better.

In addition to my not liking Natasha I also had a problem with the story itself. To begin with, there really isn’t much plot. Their meet cute was unbelievable, bordering on the absurd. Her fiancé stands her up at the alter. (I’m still not sure why she was standing there waiting for him. The groom is the one that stands at the alter waiting and then the brides walks in to join him.) when the fiancé doesn’t show a big Russian who is obviously part of the Bratva walks in, tells her that her fiancé is dead, that he wasn’t a good guy and because of him a lot of bad men are going to be after her. He offers her no proof except his words and she never asks for any. Then he says if she marries him he’ll pay off all the debts and take care of everything including her and she says yes! I mean, seriously? She just found out her fiancé, who she chose, is dead. This was not an arranged marriage, she wanted to marry her fiancé. She’s even upset and wonders if she had done something wrong, although she did seem more concerned with ruining her makeup if she cried. Then less than twenty minutes later she not only agrees to marry this complete stranger, she actually does it. And she does it completely alone. For some unknown reason her parents left her in the church when her fiancé didn’t show up, supposedly because they never liked him. I mean who abandons their daughter like that? (And no one in her family is ever mentioned again. It’s like they vanished.) This isn’t really a spoiler since it happened in the first two chapters and it’s in the blurb.

After that appalling set up, the story did not improve. Most of what happens between them, especially in the first half of the book, made no sense. They both act like it’s the most natural thing in the world to marry a complete stranger.

My last problem with this book is that probably percent takes place in the bedroom. Now, I like smut in my romance novels but I need a plot as well. This was way beyond anything I’ve ever read that was listed in the romance category. I was very disappointed as I know Sara can do so much better than this, because she has, many times. So taking everything into consideration I can say, unless you are looking for a book with minimal plot, an annoying female main character, lots of spanking and shagging, and nothing more, then don’t waste your time. Go read one of her other, much better books.. Hopefully the next one will be back up to standards.

Stolen Vows by Sara Fields is a brand new story by the author and it is an arranged marriage and mafia romance between two strangers who were never supposed to meet. Natasha and Sergei made for an enjoyable pairing and I really liked their push and pull relationship. Although Natasha frustrated at times because she often pushed Sergei intentionally, this was also expected in their union. Sara Fields is also known to include "punishments" in her books as well. Overall, Natasha and Sergei's romance was actually really sweet and sexy—he happened to be the one who fall first. Despite his punishments, Sergei was in love with Natasha and took the time to care for her after. I couldn't even blame him for it because Natasha endangered herself and intentionally broke his rules.

"When I said my vows to you that day, I meant them forever. I belong to you, and you belong to me."

In the end, this was an enjoyable read and fans of Sara Fields will not be disappointed by her latest spicy mafia romance. Sergei might be one of her sweetest heroes yet because he did everything in his power to protect and care for his Natasha. We also did get some elements of danger and death in this book but it was few and far in-between. Sergei has been trying to solidify his power in Chicago and in order to protect those that belong to him, he was willing to kill anyone for hurting them. Overall, the romance between Natasha and Sergei was still the highlighting point of this book and Sara Fields has done an amazing job drawing out the sexual tension between her hero and heroine.

Who could Natasha trust??
Natasha found herself standing at the altar waiting for her fiance to arrive but he never comes and this is where she meets Sergei he had come to the church to tell her that her fiance would never appear because he had been killed and that she didn’t know the real him. It works out that he had a gambling problem and he owed money to some very nasty people but Sergei had taken it on to pay his debts because they had planned to hurt Natasha and he didn’t want that to happen. So she was vulnerable by herself she had no money so Sergei says the only way she’ll be kept safe if she marries him today. Natasha for some reason felt that she couldn’t trust the man in front of her so she agrees and he treats her like a princess telling her that she has her own room until she wants to change that but it will be on her terms. But then he tells her that in the vows she promised to obey and he had rules and these rules are there to keep her safe and if she broke these rules she would be punished.
I would have to say these two are made for each other Natasha is so innocent and too take on a person like Sergei Who is the head of the Russian mafia every day was a learning curve for her did Natasha get punish yes she did was it Harsh yes it was did she loved every second of it yes she did. But when they finally gave in to their feelings wow they are explosive together and once she had got used to the way of life the connection that they had together with strong. A good read.

Innocence is not bliss

Sara Fields is absolutely nothing but excellence in the field of BDSM and mafia mixed tropes. With that being said, kudos to Stolen Vows.

Sergei made is clear from his first appearance that he is not the average Mafia boss or husband. Sergei appeared at the church fully aware of how his relationship with Natadha would play ou. The only person lost was Natasha.

Natasha from page one was headstrong, naive, innocent beyond belie, and gullible. For her to marry a man shedidn'tt know spoke a great deal to not onlynher innocence but her lack of self-preservation and the need for a keeper - enters Sergei. To agree to the marriage as quickly as Natasha di was clear reveleation that she knew Robert, her betrothed, was not who he said he wa... she just needed time to come to terms with that.

The union between the two was as innocent and as guilty as described. This story was written with the end as the beginning, from what I gather, and I love the way the story was as common as an everyday marriage with insight to the erotic intimacies that were not discussed.

What i love about Sara's books is the simplicity of the unions but the erotic fantasies the characters live with every day simplicity of waking up and eating breakfast. I love how she blends regualr actions into a story that is not every day...noone really lives the rich, protected life, but you can relate to the rich guy and the submissive girl... in one form or another.

Wow get ready for a lot of heat coming your way this book is such a fantastic steamy action very hard to put down once you get started type of book! The characters are very interesting to get know and enjoy from a strong woman who is not afraid to stand up to anyone especially if she believes differently than you do about what she wants to do. A very hot powerful mafia man who will do anything to get the lady he wants and protect her from everything even herself. One of the many things I loved the most was how patient, kind, gentle, and much more the main guy character was turns his new wife! He didn’t make her do anything unless she asked or if it was for her safety. The chemistry between them was strong from the very beginning I love this book so much I didn’t want it to end! It’s a quick read if you ask me with lots of tension you feel sinking off the page it’s a keeper that I’ll probably read over and over again so entertaining, mystery among so much more and I can see it becoming a series maybe a girl can hope! I want a story on Victor so badly now and more on these two main characters too!!.

I received an Advanced Ready Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Sergei Reznikov saved Natasha Page from a life of debt with a horrible man. Natasha's fiancé was a no show at their wedding. Still in her wedding gown at the venue, Sergei shows up and offers to marry Natasha and give her protection. There is something about Sergei that draws Natasha in. For some reason, this big man with body guards for the protection does not scare her. She willingly marries him and goes to his house.

Natasha is not blind. Sergei is a good looking man and he seems to be just as he said, only there to protect her. He has only kissed her once at the end of the vows and that kiss opened her world to what could be. Sergei has some rules and the punishment that comes with breaking those rules intrigue Natasha to the point that she is contemplating breaking those rules. Sergei only shows Natasha love and respect. This man will have readers falling in love with how he treats Natasha even when she defies him.

Sara Fields does it again. She has a knack for making readers comfortable with the uncomfortable. This age-gap mafia-like romance will ease any readers mind. Natasha's need overtakes the boundaries that readers may have. Natasha wants it and so bad that readers will want it for her and understand that Sergei is doing it all out of love. He is just trying to give his wife everything that she wants. How can that be dirty or wrong? I hope we hear more from the Reznikov family.

What a great book this was and although I prefer my female leads to be strong and independent i still enjoyed it anyway. Natasha Page is about to be married but she is left at the alter when her fiancée doesn’t turn up and at the last minute a stranger takes his place and they are married, she is shocked but goes along with it and she not sure why. Sergei Reznikor is Russian and the new upcoming Bratva Don and has always wanted Natasha and doesn't believe that her fiancée Robert is good enough for her and when he betrays them and debt he owes and he is taken out and now Natasha is left waiting at the alter for him but Sergei takes his place and marries her instead and he sweeps her off her feet literally and takes her away. He also know she is an innocent and doesn’t push to consummate their marriage until she is ready. How will she feel when she learns about Robert and does she fall in love with Sergei and do they have a HEA in the end. I do love how patient, kind and very protective Sergei is of Natasha.

Natasha Page thought her wedding day would be the happiest. When the groom didn’t show up, it certainly didn’t feel like it. Left at the altar, she thought of the humiliation and hard work she put into it. Then a tall stranger comes into the church. Sergei Reznikov knew the moment he saw her he had to have her. Her fiancée was no good and deserved what he got but not Natasha. He strikes a deal with her. Marry him and she will be protected from those that will be looking to clear her ex-fiancées debt.

Hell Sergei was like a wet dream. The man was tall, tatted and muscular. Ok, yes he was Bratva but he was kind and loving to Natasha and even protected her. Natasha seemed a bit naïve but she wasn’t. She was a strong woman that knew what she wanted. She also knew that Sergei wasn’t a “boy scout.” She did test him from time to time. I was worried that she would do what most women do when they find out the truth. Sergei knew her so well. That man loved her whole heartedly. Loved the BONUS too. That was taboo.

This is not your usual mafia-themed romance story. It does include violence, but it
focuses on the relationship between Natasha and Sergi. I found parts of the story
unrealistic, especially when Sergi sweeps in to save the day after Natasha is left at
the altar. It includes frequent spankings and sizzling sex scenes. What I did like was
how protective and loyal Sergi was toward Natasha.

Sergi is a stranger to Natasha, yet she does not question his motives. Segi needs to
establish himself as a force to be reckoned with within the Chicago Bratvas. By
making Natasha his wife, he strengthens the bond with another family, protecting
her from the mess her fiancê made. Even after being a witness to the violence Sergi
is capable of, Natasha accepts it without question. Sergi is gentle with Natasha
until she tests him by breaking the rules for her safety. His punishments are harsh,
but Natasha finds that her body reacts to discipline by craving Sergi’s
touch more.

I enjoyed this book despite finding parts of it unbelievable. It was entertaining and
easy to read.

Natasha Page was supposed to get married but her fiancé, Robert Cooper, never showed up. Sergei Reznikov arrives at the church once everyone but Natasha is gone to talk to her.

Robert is dead because he had a gambling addiction. He gambled away his trust fund, Natasha’s life savings and the house they just bought was put up as collateral. Natasha is penniless. Sergei believes Natasha will be a target for the people Robert owed money to so Sergei is there to offer Natasha a deal.

The deal is Sergei will pay off Robert’s debts and protect Natasha if she marries him. Natasha agrees. They marry right then and there. Natasha is a virgin but every time Sergei kisses her or is even close to her, she has very naughty thoughts.

Can Sergei keep Natasha safe? Will Natasha be okay being the wife of a Russian mobster? Will Sergei make all of Natasha’s sexual fantasies come true?

Great story. I loved how complex Sergei was and how gentle he was with Natasha.

Honestly the lack of character development just made this feel like a spicy novella. I was quite intrigued by the synopsis but once you start reading, you're kind of just thrown into the deep end from start to finish with no sign of sanity to be found. There was no emotional build, everything was pretty much lust driven. There was also a lot of talk about food and it just made me hungry. The spice scenes were intense, I almost felt uncomfortable (especially during the hairbrush scene, I almost dnfed it then).

Sergei had potential because he's obviously very into to Natasha but without the emotional connection his actions fell empty for me. Natasha gave me hella whiplash and I have no words. Also, why did none of her friends/ family members look for her after the wedding? That and the fact that her friends weren't present til over halfway and brushed it off like nothing was just confusing. Overall, this has a lot of potential but wasn't my cup of tea. A disappointed bride is stood up at the church on her wedding day. After everyone has left, a huge, calm, understanding man, Sergei, appears to explain how deceptive her potential bridegroom had been. He offers to protect and care for her as soon as she becomes his wife. She agrees.

Natasha is strong, independent, and intelligent. She is also a bit sassy and erotically inexperienced. She and her new husband are taking their time to get to know each other. After Sergei sets down rules to keep Natasha safe, he threatens to spank her if she disobeys. Well, now her curiosity is piqued! Will she be obedient? What if she chooses to disobey? Will Sergei really spank her? How will Natasha react to her punishment?

I am not going to even try to explain the interactions between these two individuals except to mention that this story is erotic, salacious and decadently delicious and I highly recommend it!!!

Sara Fields never misses with the heavy & steamy scenes in her books and we just have to love her for them.

Sergei is immediately obsessed with Natasha and it is clear that he will do anything to love and protect her but also completely dominate her. Throughout we learn of the dominance of Natasha but also learn how quickly Natasha is dominating Sergei’s life and heart. I love a classic stealing of the bride storyline. I think if you have read Sara’s other mafia romances you’ll love this one!

As a big fan of Sara Fields, I know her books will never fail to deliver the heavy and steamy scenes she is popular for. To me, Mafia Romances are either immediately captivating or take ages to finish. I liked this book but it did take me a few attempts to complete it. It was just a little slower than I would have hoped. Either way I still give it 4/5 Stars and as always 4.5/5 rating for steam and spice.

I’d rather read a magazine.

I love books of all kinds. Different genres, tropes, and even styles of bedroom activities are an enjoyable read. Of course, with some hard limits of things I will not read. This book is not good. It barely qualifies as a book that I would grudgingly read. But only if there was no other reading material around and I was facing prolonged boredom. I don’t understand how a heroine of any novel can possibly be this spineless and completely lack any form of decisiveness even within their own thoughts. There is a sub heroine with a Dom male lead and then there is this, where the woman can’t even think for herself. She simply assimilates not only the Dom’s thoughts as her own, but the thoughts of every other character within the pages. There are moments when she does have them, before long they disappear and she excuses away her indecisiveness in one fashion or another. Where are her thoughts going…? It’s not looking like we’ll find out.

The story sucked for me.
There was a whole bunch of nothing going on for a really long while.

Her fiancee left her at the altar and instead of being heart broken she just sits there. A hot guy shows up and tells her that her fiancee is actually dead and to save her she has to marry him. With no proof of anything, she does.
The story then drags on with spankings and light foreplay then eventually at like 50-60% they finally have sex. But there was really no plot other than the build up for the sex and the betrayal for when she finds out the truth on who killed her fiancee and why - and of course when she does find out- its no big deal once he gets his hands on her - she just forgives him.
The only thing that kept me reading was the build up for them to finally screw.

I DNF. I couldn't stay interested in the story long before they actually had sex and once they did, it was like ' oh, okay cool'
I really didn't care for the characters either.

Stolen Vows is an unconventional mafia romance that follows Natasha Page and Sergei Reznikov. Natasha was abandoned at the alter when her fiance never showed.
Sergei showed up shortly after with news about her fiance plus an offer of marriage that she couldn't say no to.

While I enjoyed their storyline the beginning was a little far-fetched. Along with how her family and friends didn't stick around to support her after being left at the alter.
Natasha is a spirited, sassy, naughty, defiant and sometimes reckless with her actions.
Sergei is possessive, dominant dangerous but has a sweet side for her even if he puts her in her place with spankings and other things.

There is danger, suspense, secrets and spice mixed into their storyline.

...a young woman left at the wedding alter - no family or friends standing with her or supporting her... She has no idea why her fiancé is not there with her. A dangerous looking - albeit handsome russian man in a tuxedo enters the church and insists speaking with her. He wants to make her an offer. So begins Sara Fields' Stolen Vows: A Dark Mafia Romance. In a slight change from Sara's trademark šëxy, älphä, röügh & břütäl male heroes - Sergei is a bit more sweeter, more of a gentleman and vows his love to Natasha first. Don't get me wrong - he is *all* you come to know from the men Sara writes about - and he is just as dëliciöus too! 😏 Sergei & Natasha are špïcy together and oh-so-enjoyable to read. As always, remember to read Sara's TWs. 😊🌴🌺 I received an ARC from Booksprout for my honest review.

The best day of her life quickly became the worst for Natasha. On her wedding day, she was left at the altar, and then she is told her fiance is dead. Now there may be bad people coming for her, and Sergei shows up at the church to offer her his protection. He will marry her immediately, and she will become his queen.

This book is beautifully written, and a great dark love story. Sergei is surprisingly gentle with Natasha, knowing she is innocent, and he is only rough when and because she needs him to be. He adores her even before they meet, and is only ever loving towards her. I love a good Sara Fields novel, and this was no exception. This was a pleasure to read, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This book is about a Russian mafia man named Sergei who falls for a girl named Natasha. She's about to get married to a terrible guy when Sergei steps in and offers to protect her. But there's a catch, she has to marry him instead, right then and there! Natasha is hesitant at first, but she's drawn to Sergei and agrees to marry him. The story is really well-written and has plenty of action, suspense, and steam. Sergei is a fascinating character – he's both a gentleman and a beast. And Natasha's innocence is endearing. The book is set in the mafia world, so there are betrayals, violence, and secrets revealed. But at the heart of it, all is this intense attraction between Sergei and Natasha. I really enjoyed this book. It's a wild ride, and I couldn't put it down once I started reading. If you're looking for a dark, delicious, and dirty romance, this is definitely the book for you!
