All My Hope: A Prisoner No More

Rate this book
Julie knew she could spend the rest of her life in prison if she were caught crossing the border with four pounds of methamphetamine duct-taped around her waist. But life had become so overwhelming, so painful, that she no longer cared if she lived or died. So she crossed over the border. And with her arrest as a drug smuggler that day, her years of running from responsibility—and from God—came to an end.

Through one miraculous event after another, God transformed Julie from drug dealer to Hope Dealer. Read her story now as Julie Seals unveils her extraordinary journey of overcoming a 17-year addiction to crystal meth and being transformed by the supernatural power of God.

My aunt wrote those book about her transformation from a former felon addicted to meth / alcohol for 17 years to a joyful, hope filled woman whose live is now marked by a love for Jesus and service to others. Her story is incredibly powerful and the book is easy to read .

All My Hope by Julie Seals is a riveting book of hope and encouragement. Julie openly shares her story of drug and alcohol addiction. She’s not afraid to share the not so good, the bad, and the ugly of her life, but she doesn’t leave you there. Julie shares how God amazingly reached her, a hopeless outcast of society, in a prison cell. When she fully surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, she left a life of shame and started her journey of significance.

I love the stories Julie shares of God’s provision. While reading this book, you may laugh, cry, and say to yourself, "Wow, look what God did."

I believe this book will encourage you to live a life of full surrender to Jesus Christ and to believe for the impossible, I know it did me.

This true story of God’s amazing work is one of the most inspiring books I have ever read. As a recovering addict, it touched me in a way no other book ever has and I couldn’t put it down. I read this in a day because I just had to know the outcome. Even though I knew it because so had just met Julie, I still just needed to know. One of very few books that have affected me that way. Please, if you’re looking for something inspiring, pick this. If you’re looking for something to give you hope, pick this. Julie legitimately puts into words the struggles many addicts have at that 3rd step when you’re to turn your life over to God. She perfectly describes the miracles He will perform if you just trust in Him and allow Him to take control. Reading this book is just as worth taking that 3rd step. And life changing. Thank you Julie!

Redemption! Redemption! Redemption!

I LOVE this story of God’s redeeming love. ❤️

Mercy, I was in tears at some points of the book… my heart was aching for Julie. 😭 But God showed up…as He ALWAYS DOES! He went before her, speaking to her and showing her that even in the madness and sadness, He would be ever-present and help her through.
The Lord once showed me that you don’t have to be in prison to be a prisoner. And as I read this book, I thought, “you don’t have to be a prisoner in prison! There’s freedom even while behind bars.” True freedom isn’t about location, and Julie’s beautiful story shows us that! ❤️

Julie, keep dealing out HOPE, beautiful sister in Christ! What wonderful, powerful, and amazing stories our Heavenly Father writes…and yours sure is one of them!

Julie, in a desperate time of her life, decided to pursue the only thing that could change her life forever. Jesus. Julie tells of breaking strongholds, overcoming obstacles, redemption, and most of all, what a life looks like with faith in Jesus. If you have a past and you find it challenging to overcome, read this book. If you have someone you deeply care for that is struggling with addictions or wrong choices in life, read this book. This is a book about hope. Hope not just for the people going through it, but for the friends and family members that are affected by it. I was hooked from the introduction. A sliver of hope almost unnoticed at the beginning. An amazing story that will change many lives. What a great spotlight of what Jesus can do in your life.

Incredible! I could not put the book down once I started reading. This book is an absolute must-read for anyone seeking hope in their life. Julie's story is a powerful testament that will inspire readers with newfound freedom and hope. Even when life appeared to conspire against her, God consistently intervened, revealing Himself to Julie. As this book reaches the hands of prisoners, it has the potential to lead them towards God and a transformative relationship with Him. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Julie for sharing her story, offering hope to countless others, and giving all glory to God!

I recently wrote something about Julie and sent it off to her for approval. She made some corrections, adding to the depth and breadth of her ministry. She wasn't grandstanding; she wasn't padding. She was giving God as much glory as He can get from her story!! And she faithfully does the same in this book! Not one moment is left for the reader to pause and admire her courage or fortitude. Every wondrous detail of this restoration story is credited to the God who so graciously wrote it. And what a restoration it is! Every bit a page-turner.

Wow! This was such a hard book to have to put down! I didn’t want to, but life gets in the way of me reading anything straight through. I could feel every emotion, every hurt and every victory. The Holy Spirit is tangible in her words as she recounts her life. What hope! What love! What final peace! Anyone who reads this book will not finish it the same person as they were when they started it.

This is an amazing story of how an amazing God can transform, heal and restore every life that is surrendered. This book is filled with a gripping account of how at the lowest point of one’s life God stepped in and brought hope and restoration to a level that is almost unbelievable. It is an extraordinary testimony that leaves you full of faith and believing for miracles.

Having been a volunteer prison chaplain in the 1980s myself, and having met Julie in person, I can highly recommend this book. It had me crying at times and shouting praises at other times. Hard to put it down and when you are finished, it leaves you wanting more.
