• 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐥'𝐬 "𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬" is among the best books of 2024—at least 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧! When I was reading this specific book, I was completely absorbed. Not to be disrespectful, but I have always wanted to read books like this. 🍷

• However, the prologue should seem unclear or overly fascinating to you if you have not read the book "WAR" yet. Because of the various points displaying the cover title, I find the cover itself to be a little confusing.💡

• The author gets right to the point of the story right away. He introduces his readers to the story's plot without straying from it. The ending was too much to bear, and that was just about the beginning. Oh my God! Although I am unable to reveal the book's secrets for the sake of the narrative, I would still make you read every word.✨

• 𝐀𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭. 𝐀 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. 𝐀 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐦. Its presentability varies from one period to the next. However, 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫, a senior military intelligence officer, is the primary subject of attention. Deadly mission - the love for his friend - secret society - right and wrong. Moreover, these are diplomatic but not simple. The actual event of the 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐇470 going missing is the focus of the entire book. Additionally, I believe it to be lethal when combined with a 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭.💕

• It is just too much to read about how he gets caught and how his story develops! You will think that this book is a 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and a movie plot after reading it. Not surprisingly, the author has worked very hard to make 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜. I believe the author is underappreciated for taking a bold stance on a variety of topics; even in this day and age, he discusses the negative aspects of 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦, which I believe requires a great deal of 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞.🌙

• The author's 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞, the feelings he conveyed through his writing, the book's gentle tone, and every other detail are all too appealing to me. The characters are always spot-on and never miss an opportunity to show their appreciation. They're the perfect fit into their situations. And that is when I realized how engrossed I was in this book! 🎯

‘War of Brotherhoods’ by Sumit Agarwal is an espionage thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat until the very last page. The story revolves around Kabir, an Indian military intelligence officer, on a mission to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of the Malaysian aircraft MH470.

During another of his submarine expeditions in search for the plane’s debris, he catches a severe infection and is admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. But there’s someone who wants to stop Kabir’s pursuits. When a hired assassin and his men chase Kabir on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, a beautiful US secret service agent, Keira, comes to his rescue. Together, they uncover secrets and are drawn into a secret society’s mission that could change history; but not without threatening everything they hold dear.

The book’s writing is fast-paced, seamlessly blending action, suspense, and conspiracy elements. The characters are well-developed, each with their own motives and complexities. The plot is well-written, with a global intrigue to give a super thrilling novel that highlights patriotism and commitment to humanity. Of all the characters, Kabir comes close to being an ideal protagonist evoking every shade of authenticity, genuineness, care, and concern, that every human should strive to achieve for the world.

The lengthy narratives although essential are bit too detailed in places and tend to sway your focus from the central plot, at times. For instance, there’s the heavy dose of dialogues and descriptions and too verbose at that; bordering on redundancy, that could’ve been easily avoided. The mystery as and when it unfolds is quite mind-blowing and reasonably so. Packed with beautiful locations for settings and a protagonist worthy of famous action heros in movies and a subtle love twist thrown in, this book makes for a thrilling ride for any reader.

If you enjoy crime thrillers with unexpected twists and turns, this book is a great choice. While it may be a bit challenging to follow both timelines, the author quite shrewdly ends the story, leaving one wondering if religion truly is the reason behind world’s deadliest terror crimes and the ensuing horror and suffering unleashed upon humankind.

So, here I am with another thriller book recommendations inspired by a true incident that happened in 2014. The story commences in Cairo and unfurls across a range of locales, spanning from Paris to Tajikistan. Its central protagonist, Kabir, an esteemed Indian military intelligence officer, embarks on a relentless mission to uncover the truth behind a long-standing enigma—the suspected plane crash that has baffled the world for years. As he delves deeper into the investigation, Kabir becomes afflicted by a life-threatening infection, landing him in a Kuala Lumpur hospital. There, he finds himself pursued by a lethal assassin.

Kabir's mission is to unveil the truth surrounding the disappearance of flight MH470, an assignment that becomes increasingly critical. He becomes entangled in a war that has the potential to reshape the world's destiny. Will Kabir succeed in completing his mission?

The book's greatest strength lies in its ability to maintain suspense and keep readers guessing until the end. The well-drawn characters and intricate plot add depth to the narrative. The introduction of the beautiful US secret service agent, Keira, injects a layer of complexity into the narrative. Her timely intervention in the face of a hired assassin's pursuit of Kabir sets the stage for a partnership that's both fraught with tension and blossoming with trust. As the story unfolds, readers are left guessing about Keira's true motives and identity, adding an element of unpredictability to the plot. The narrative between two converging timelines, adds layers of complexity and depth to the story. This choice provides readers with a broader perspective on the events as they unfold, creating a more immersive reading experience.

While the complexity of the plot is a strength, it may be overwhelming for some readers. Additionally, some parts of the story could benefit from further elaboration. However, the lively writing style made me feel like watching a movie while reading the book. If you're looking for a thrilling read that explores the world of international intrigue, espionage, and conspiracy, then 'War of Brotherhoods' is the book for you!

Review :
The book starts with two different scenes from two different places from March 2014. In one we see a plane going to crash, where everyone from passengers to stuff to the pilots all fall unconscious, except for one person. Then we see an unidentified person entered into a secret facility impersonating someone and stealing some of the data, and he mentions Brotherhoods for the first time.

Then the main story starts with two different povs and tells us stories from two different timelines and different places. On one side, in the present timeline we follow Kabir , a top-ranking Indian military intelligence officer, who's trying to discover the mysteries behind a plane crash. On the other hand, in the past, we follow Mokhtar and Adel, two young boys, living in Egypt, both are disturbed by the political situation of colonized Egypt, how British men treat the locals, and they're effecting their lifestyles and how in later part both of them get into this one way or the others.

From the sound of it, it does seem like two different stories in one book, but the two stories are connected to each other. And it's told as alternate chapters.

So while in one chapter, you'll get a thrilling, action packed, fast paced story following Kabir, in the very next chapter, you'll see the gradual changes that develop into Adel and Mokhtar, how slowly their thoughts are changing. Though it's not slow, but slow enough than the other chapters, but gripping enough.

The writing style of the author is simple and lucid and you can easily get into it. Overall I really enjoyed the book, the tensions, high stakes, mysteries, secrets makes the book a captivating and a page turner.

And would definitely recommend, if you like your thriller book based on military, secret society, terrorism, highly action packed.

There are a few stories that leave you wanting for you. This book was so hard to put down once I started reading it.

It's a nail biting thriller about the mystery of Malaysian Aircraft MH470 which got lost and a plane crash was suspected.

Kabir is an Indian military intelligence officer who is determined to uncover the truth behind this conspiracy. His personality is so clever and enigmatic. The story revolves around discovering the truth of the disappearance of MH470 and Kabir's plans of getting close to it.

On his journey of unraveling the truth, his paths cross with US secret service agent Keira. They solve many mysteries together while also overcoming various obstacles and dangers thrown at their way.

What I really liked about the book is that it deeply explores the role of religion in terrorism and it encourages us to find out whether there is any role of religion at all. We mostly attribute the cause of any world event to religion but it's high time that we think clearly before we act.

It's a fast paced novel that has a lot of twists and turns for readers who enjoy captivating thrillers. The writing style is appropriate for a thriller like this and it will be thought provoking for the readers who like to introspect. You will also enjoy this if you are keen on reading about investigations, intelligence bureau, aircraft and mysteries surrounding it.

"War of Brotherhood" is a suspense, action and thriller, all in one buffet.

The protagonist, Kabir, a top-ranking Indian intelligence officer is on a mission to uncover the truth behind a plane crash. Which puts his life in danger and nobody around to trust. In these circumstances he is caught up in the war between two secret societies.

While his own life is in danger, he must take up a task to save mankind.

First half of the book is quite slow however the fast paced second half makes up for it, so readers should hang on to get on the rollercoaster ride.

Overall it's a good suspense thriller book that provides the reader with enough drama and entertainment.

War of Brotherhoods by Sumit Agarwal

In War of Brotherhoods, Sumit Agarwal weaves an intricate tapestry of action, suspense, and global intrigue, transcending the boundaries of a typical espionage thriller. The novel invites readers into a high-stakes world of espionage and international terrorism, where loyalties shift like sand and the truth is as elusive as a shadow.

Kabir, the novel's resolute protagonist, embarks on a personal mission that spans nearly a decade—seeking to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH470. The stakes are high, and Kabir is plunged deep into a labyrinth of conspiracy, shadow wars, and deadly assassins. With every step closer to the truth, the danger escalates, culminating in a 72-hour race against time that could reshape the world’s future.

What sets War of Brotherhoods apart from typical thrillers is its exploration of the powerful forces behind global terrorism. The narrative grapples with questions of religion, ideology, and the arms trade, challenging the reader to look beyond surface-level conflicts and examine the hidden puppeteers pulling the strings. The two rival secret societies at the heart of the story are not just symbolic of conflicting ideologies—they represent the destructive potential of unchecked power and the moral dilemmas faced by those who stand in the crossfire.

Agarwal skillfully navigates between two time periods, making the reader feel as if they are standing on the precipice of history, looking into the abyss of both past and future conflicts. The book not only spins a thrilling tale but also invites the reader to reflect on the consequences of global terrorism, making it not just a story of survival, but one of deep moral introspection. The suspense thriller is the most famous and difficult genre as it takes so much effort,  research, depth, secrets, and up to the end secrecy. And authors who give themselves to this should be very keen on penning such brilliant stories.  And Mr.  Agarwal has done it proficiently.

'War Of Brotherhoods' by SUMIT AGARWAL is a suspense thriller that revolves around an Indian military intelligence officer Kabir,  who is on a personal mission for nearly a decade to find the mystery of the plane crash MH470. It's no more a case for him as it has become his obsession to find every minute detail of this crash. While giving his best and when he was almost at it,  he was caught up by a deadly infection and was admitted to Kuala Lumpur Hospital where he came across Keira a US secret service agent. Now the case is more crucial as Kabir is contacted by two secret societies to help humankind.  This war in which Kabir is stuck is so big and dreadful that if it's not taken care of or under control, it threatens to change the world's destiny as well as Kabir's.  Keira plays an important role but is she what she is trying to pretend is a bigger question.
The story travels in two different eras/timelines.  The British government and current era. It has two different sets of stories taking place simultaneously where you are given different scenarios,  elements, and the connectivity between two timelines. The book also has probes into what is the real reason behind terrorism, wars, and suffering in this world.

This thriller is a must-read for its brilliant plot, flow, narration, ability to keep the secret enclosed till the end, the concept, the message, the research, detailing, and above all the idea with which it has been represented. The author's writing skills are at par as it forms the pictures of every moment in front of your eyes the moment you read it. The chronicles are so good that it has created a standard for action thrillers.   The writing is very clean and allows you to flow with it. Every page turn gives you only one thought What am I getting next? You will not be able to trace or guess the secret till the end. You will be addicted to it until you find out the answer to the mystery.

Highly recommended for all who enjoy the action thriller. A must-read without fail 👍

Though determined to find his friend Jayant, who is missing after an aircraft crash offshore Malaysia, his body is still recovering from the too often marine expeditions. A sudden siege by a bloodthirsty enemy allows only a narrow escape.
Rescued by US Agent Keira, Kabir realizes there are more powers at play. A few select agents are escorted to a secret meeting, one that vows to nab terrorism brewing trouble in the Middle East.
This team of unlikely heroes tries to get a hold of the enigmatic men who stir resentment & hunger for world domination amongst masses of war-torn nations, all the while trying to stay alive from the attacks of vindictive henchmen.

Cairo:
Adel & Mokhtar were inseparable. Their friendship stemmed from childhood companionship and deep care. A sudden discovery however elicits different reactions, shaping their realities and entire course of life.
While Adel grows up to join King Faroud's forces as a steadfast officer, his friend takes a path into a radical Islamist group, a secret brotherhood that is determined to purge evils in the world by hook or crook.
Under a series of leadership spanning generations, Ikhwan has grown into the biggest threat to the current map of the world, hell-bent on bringing the order of the Persian Caliphate back after centuries, and they are willing to sacrifice all it takes to bask in the old glory of power.

Author @sumitsvoice pens this epic adventure that will have the reader reeling from an adrenaline rush until the last page, guessing hidden clues.
The book has alternating timelines which converge at the very end to give an epic showdown, only to be flipped completely in the penultimate and final chapter .
It covers heavy topics of theo-fanaticism, morally grey espionage, and the gruesome ugly things people do to further their agendas.

🌀It is a gripping thriller that takes readers on a heart-pounding journey where a commando's relentless pursuit of truth and justice intertwines with the mysteries of a devastating plane crash.

🌀The story follows Kabir Rathore, an Indian commando desperately searching for the MH470 wreckage long after every other individual and nation had long given up the search for this lost aircraft. Unlike all other missions, this was a "personal" quest. His determination spiralled into an obsession that threw him into clutches of death several times. Kabir had commandeered several impossible overseas missions to success in the past and his determination had inspired headlines.

🌀A decade later, MH470 was still a missing chapter from the chronicles of human history, a disturbing and humbling reminder for mankind. Theories abounded about what might have happened. Yet, none of them could explain why a plane that took off for Beijing from Kuala Lumpur, ended up deviating down south, nearly 1800 km west of Perth in the Indian Ocean, before vanishing into thin air.

🌀There are two different timelines but both converging. The author's writing is suspenseful, expertly blending action with emotional depth. The author paints vivid landscapes of the Indian wilderness, immersing readers in a world filled with danger and unpredictability. The pacing is relentless, with each chapter ending on a cliffhanger that compels you to keep turning the pages.

🌀Kabir is a well-developed protagonist, embodying the qualities of courage, determination, and vulnerability. As he confronts both external threats and his own inner demons, readers are drawn into his struggle, rooting for his success while fearing for his safety. The supporting characters are equally compelling, each adding layers to the narrative and contributing to the overarching tension.

🌀It is a thrilling ride that combines action, suspense, and emotional depth. Sumit Agarwal has crafted a story that not only entertains but also pays homage to the bravery of those who serve in the armed forces. For fans of military thrillers and high-stakes adventures, this book is a must-read that will leave you breathless and contemplating long after you've turned the last page.
