Have you ever cooked a dinner for your family or neighbors? Well, if you want to experience it you better read the first book of the dish series, called Stirring It Up! I want to recommend this book to people who are interested in cooking because this book is based on cooking and it contains real recipe for a food. As you can see in the cover page, it's a book wrote in a girl's perspective. You might hardly find boys except for dad and Justin. However, I am a boy, and when I read this book, and it didn't matter. As I said this book is a cooking book. So this book is not a story based book like Hunger Games or Harry Potter. This book has a story, and it happens without any "big" conflicts. This book's main characters are 11 years old. However, I think it doesn't matter. Even the main characters are 11 years old, this book is written in a 3rd person, which makes you easier to understand. So I would recommend this book to people who are interested in cooking, from elementary school to high school and maybe adults, too. I heard there are 12 editions so you might get one of them some day!

Amanda and Molly are twins 11 years old. Their story began in the summer vacation when they were sitting in the home alone and they have nothing to do. Molly and Amanda's mum and dad working hard all the day. So their mother has not time to cook for them what they want until the weekend so she bought for them from the restaurants. One day when their mother call the twin and told them what they want from the restaurant, they started to think to do a surprise for their parents that they will cook the dinner. So, Molly called her mum and told her that their dad will bring the dinner. The twins started to do the dinner to surprise their family. When their parents arrive home they were surprising about the dinner and they like. In addition, the twins attend a cooking class with their friend Shawn and Petichi. However, there is a tragedy satiation face the twins and they start to think of solution.

As you know I don't love reading but really I feel interesting when I read it and I will complete the second book. I recommended to you to read this book if you love cooking.

This book talks about twins who are Amanda and Molly and they are eleven years old. The book talks about how the twins spent their summer vacation by starting to surprise their parents by cooking the dinner for family, because they used to bring food from restaurant. After that, twins started to attend cooking classes and deliver food for people.

I recommended this book to read, because it is very excited and enjoyable. You can read it during few days and the language of this book is easy. I used to be a person who hates reading but after reading this book and Taxi book by Khaled Alkhamissi I am starting to love reading.

First of all, I'm an adult reading this book to see if I want to introduce the series to my friend's child. Nope! Not going to do it. I found the book pretty boring. It read like a chapter book. Nothing got resolved. I guess I'm a fan of adventure stories. This is like reading a journal of a dull life. Not a fan.

I loved the book Stirring it up. The book is about cooking and I love to cook. I also love to watch cooking shows on TV. Reading this book, I felt like it would be really cool to have my own cooking business. Stirring it up inspired me to cook more and read the whole Dish series.

This is a series geared to older elementary girls. At first, looking at the title and cover of the book, I didn’t really want to read it because I thought it was going to be about gossipy middle school girls. The total opposite is true. This series is about a set of twin girls and their friend who decided to start a hobby of cooking. It does have some middle school drama but very mild. The book also goes into great detail on how to cook safely, promotes close family relationships, and the girls are very polite and kind. If you have a tween, or parent of a tween, who is looking for a series with good family values and caring for others, you could safely recommend this series even though the cover and title may give you a different impression. The books also have recipes in the back that the girls make in the book.

Stirring It Up

By Diane Muldrow
I really enjoyed reading the book “Stirring it up” By Diane Muldrow. I was about these friends who were really young and started cooking and they delivered the food.Sometimes the food wasn’t ready on time they had to be quick do they could deliver the food in time. Some surprises were that they finished a lot of dishes and they had to deliver them on time otherwise the people would get mad.I sometimes got really confused reading this book because each chapter it changed to a different friend and I kind of didn’t know what was going on.At the end it was really amazing how they cooked for other people and they didnt even get paid.

Nice story about twin girls who discover they enjoy cooking one night when they decide to surprise their mother (who has been working extra hard) by making dinner for the family. Their new interest leads to a cooking class and good deeds. This is a warm story about family, friendship and the spice of life - just right for a quick satisfying escape.

This was a good book. Not my favorite of the MANY books about cooking clubs, but pretty good. However what I want to know is how in the world this book got published with so many spelling mistakes. Maybe it's just the kindle version, but an example is on pg. 104

It was not that good.
I did not enjoy it and I thought it was horrible.
I really suggest you don't read this because it is really unrealistic and not joyful.

As middle-grade series books go, this one is a winner for girls who like stories about friendships and cooking. Not super deep, but positive and fun.
