This book covers the major forces directing the development of health care in the U.S. and explains where each force or trend excels or falls short of their goals. The authors do an excellent job of substantiating their claims with evidence without presenting the information with a political slant. I think the worst of the potential bias I encountered was calling anyone who wanted to curtail the expansion of public health departments as "the uninitiated few".
