The simple braids were easy enough to follow, but the more complicated the braids got, the more I found myself turning to YouTube to see the braiding in action, rather than one static photo.

I liked the pages that had finished braids in various styles next to photos of the Kumihimo discs with the threads in the starting position needed to make that specific pattern, but I wish there had been instructions on how to make things with the finished braids. Kumihimo braiding is beautiful, but I have no idea what I'd do with any braids I made.

Great book. Detailed instructions and good clear photos showing what to do. Good for a beginner with plenty of more complex designs to move onto.

Alright book for the most part. However the more complex braids needed better pictures to figure them out.
