This book ends with these words: "He (the writer of Hebrews) has spent his whole letter fixing their attention on him (Jesus Christ)…"

The book of Hebrews is a brilliant book that really helped me increase my understanding of Christology. What a joy to know Jesus Christ as Lord, Apostle, and High Priest of our confession!

To read it with this book was a double blessing. Stuart Olyott is very clear and concise in the way he writes, encouraging readers to first read God's word, inserting hymns throughout the book, and communicating application points well.

I thought I was going to move on to a new epistle, but I just have to read the book of Hebrews again. 😅

"O make me understand it, help me to take it in, What it meant to Thee, the Holy One, To bear away my sin."

I really enjoyed this book although I didn't agree with everything Olyott said. I found it helped me focus on the work of Christ and all the blessings that has brought to me.

Helpful, like reading through someone's sermon notes. I was able to use it as a devotional.

A straightforward and helpful guide through the challenging book of Hebrews. Olyott provides context for some of the more difficult to understand passages.
