This is the first true crime book I ever read, and it launched my interest in the genre. At 400-something pages, there's a lot to digest here, and sometimes it does get repetitive. But if you want a it's-as-if-you-were-there look into a gruesome, fascinating, and precedent-setting case, then look no further.
