Little Miss Curious asks How, Why and What. She wants to know about everything and she asks people a question the moment she sees them. Mr. Nonsense loves to play with her.
I love her little question mark house. She has trees in a questions mark and even her hair is a question mark.
She does go to the library where she is kicked out for her questions, which, I didn't like that part. I don't think a librarian would boot you for asking questions. She'd stick a book in your hand.
The story was cute, but it didn't seem fleshed out, but it did leave you with questions. This was an okay stay. I would love to have some young tots and she what they thought, but I don't have that anymore.
Madame Pourquoi a l’émerveillement facile. Trop facile.
Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!
These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.
Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.
Once again we encounter another of Roger Hargreaves’ Little Miss books. This one is about a girl who is extremely curious about everything. The illustration of her has her hair up in a pony tail that looks like a question mark. Her garden also has plants and trees in the form of a question mark. Even her house was in the form of a question mark! Everything for Miss Curious posed questions. For example, “Why do doors squeak, but are not small and furry with pink ears and long tails?” At the end we see Miss Curious going off somewhere, destination unknown, asking questions incessantly.
This is another great story in a great childrens book series which has been loved by many people over the years.
I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.
These books are so weird. The writing is bizarre, and not for me. I do like the pictures, and I love that my A loves these - always has, always will - these will be her "childhood thing" I think. But, for me, not really.
A gift from my best friend in 2007, we were 10 or 11. So apparently i was a little curious when i was a child so she gave me this book. I read it every couple of years mostly for the comments she wrote.
There may be a deceased cat around you with the cause of curiosity, however there are many sated Little Miss fans as they savour the wonders of another Hargreaves mini feast of joy! Little Miss books a wonderful creation. Little Miss #27
