This is a wonderful resource for children in pre-k and kindergarten. The vocabulary is easy enough for them to understand, introduces new words. The photographs show what bats look like.

My favorite illustration is on page 5. It has a bat flying with the blue sky. I ask, "What is this bats wing span?" I liked the bat how it is flying. I like his face. I really like all the pictures in this book.
