Convert your finds with the help of inventive full-color photographs, creative tips, display ideas, and plenty of projects. Create crackle and distressed finishes to "age" furniture. Use an old chair as a display stand. Artfully arrange a collection of interesting bottles. Recycle broken pieces of treasured china into a mosaic table, embellish a basket to make an eye-catching centerpiece, and update a lamp with a fabric cover. Collecting is even better when you actually show off your passions!
This is far better than a lot of "buy old stuff and make it look cool" books. Published in 2001, it holds up in 2024 for those who are interested in vintage and/or classic style.
