A raw and deeply personal memoir that goes far beyond the racetrack.

Alan opens up with striking honesty about a life shaped by immense family expectations, public highs, private lows, and unthinkable tragedy. He doesn’t shy away from the hard moments - instead, he faces them head-on, with a quiet strength that lingers long after the last page.

What makes this book so powerful is its authenticity. There’s no ego, no gloss - just a man trying to make sense of a life lived at full speed, often right on the edge. It’s about far more than sport. It’s a story of mental resilience, emotional survival, and finding light even in the darkest places.

Heartbreaking, human, and quietly hopeful, this is a compelling read for anyone curious about the untold stories behind the headlines.

Thank you for signing my copy, Alan - you’re an absolute legend. I want to give you a big hug and tell you that in person.

This book is the best book I've ever read! I read it in one day, couldn't put it down! A real rollercoaster of emotions, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll go through every emotion possible whilst reading this book. The book is about Alans life, the heartache and tragedy that Alan has suffered is heartbreaking but to know that he finally happy is amazing. Buy this book, it's well worth a read.
