Pedestrian, over descriptive rehash of plotlines, written in a stilted way. Don't even get me started on the proofreading errors. I developed a twitch at every 'it's' instead of 'its' and the punctuation made me shudder.
Captures the feeling of the Chalet School but the writing is pedestrian. A four because I like the Chalet School. On its own merits about a generic school probably a three.
I'm not even going to bother finishing this book. It was making me cringe page by page before I was even fifty pages in. The plot was boring and repetitive, and the proofreading was just...not there at all.
