This was an excellent book! Unfortunately, I’ve heard of too many leaders in ministry falling into moral failure - it’s scary and disheartening. This book gave a very balanced view on how this happens and what can be done to prevent it. The focus is on walking in the Spirit, being in the Word daily, having a spirit of prayer, and living by a code of righteousness. These may seem like basics of Christianity, but they are spiritual disciplines that are often neglected, even by those in ministry. I personally was challenged and encouraged especially with the chapter on being in the Word morning and night. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone (male or female) in ministry.

I've seen, read or perused other books by Bro. Sorenson and have found them to be very practical, this one being no exception. I received this copy at a preacher's meeting in North Jersey a few months ago and the pastor mentioned that this book was now out of print because of slow sales. Sorry to hear that.

This book centers on a delicate yet important subject for any man of God, especially those in the ministry, Moral Purity. It is simple and straightforward in approach and application with the main emphasis of the remedy centering around the Gal. 5:16, "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
This is not a "Self-Help", Psychology type book. It is an excellent, scripturally based study with very practical steps that anyone could follow and benefit from no matter what struggles they have with the flesh.
