This was one of my favorite books I read as a kid, so I thought I would revisit as an adult. I’m glad to say it did not disappoint.

I loved this book as a teenager, but when I read it again it seemed a bit off color and racist towards Native American's. I say this because she was using the narrative as her vehicle for comment about them, not a character's perspective.
