This is a very cute picture book I would say aimed for the 2nd to 3rd grade level reading. This book uses clear illustrations to show all the different people on Earth but also making the connection that as different as we all are, we are all humans and come from a higher power of a “light” that created everything and everyone. So as different as people can be we are all equals and come from the same place and we should always remember that!

This book uses a method of rhyme to tell the story about how everyone is different and how they are they same in the things they share. We are all the same people living on Earth sharing one sun. We live in different parts of the Earth. We also breathe the same air. This book reminds the reader over and over how we are all one people but different in so many ways. I think this book gives reference to a Higher Being. The book explains a " Light" being th creator of all things and his love for all things is what made us the same yet so different. I would recommend this book be read to students in 3rd grade.
