In the Kaplan GRE book there is a reference to "donkey math." Apparently donkey math is math so easy, so obvious they dare not bother reviewing it as an ass could do it. I constatnly struggle with the GRe prep books becuase I cannot remember the building blocks and it throws my answers off. It also throws my ego off. I am a child of the calculator nation! For the last year I have joked about donkey math not being my strong suite. Well, this book is gonna change all that bitches! Contact me if you need help adding 7/8 + 9/17 + 6/4 by hand...

This book would have been great should I have had the previous math background, but I didn't. This book quickly touches upon each area with minimal teaching as it assumes you already know all of it. There are very few drill sets to pound it in. If you need to start fresh, I would suggest Manhattan's Foundation of Math rather than this book.

I loved this math book so much. I bought it twice! We all went over these concepts in school, but for one reason or another...we missed a week that covered this or we were distracted by school gossip when they covered that. This goes over every single thing, so you can spend more time on one thing or spend more time on another. It's a great book!

Very useful, the tittle of the book clearly says "refresher", not introduction, so I don't understand those bad reviews complaining about not being easy for a beginner.
