Diet Wise is a well-written book. I found it very informative regarding food allergies and intolerances, and the author is certainly an expert in this field. I have a rare condition that I had suffered from for many years, and I had seen numerous doctors who couldn’t identify the cause, other than suggesting something was wrong with my head. It wasn’t until I finally saw the right doctor and eliminated all citrus, acidic, and spicy foods from my diet that I began to feel better. This book pointed out that citrus foods should be avoided, which made me feel that this doctor is someone who truly understands the human body more than most others.

I also agree with Dr Scott-Mumby that every person is different, and we need to test each food we have doubts about. This is a comprehensive book, with detailed explanations on almost every aspect relevant to our diet and possible irritating symptoms. I didn’t read every page, but it already gave me some valuable insights into examining my diet, and I plan to follow some of the advice and test it out.

Some good information, some outdated information, and some contrary to the paragraph before! Seems like three or four books spliced together. When I started reading I wanted to share with everyone and change our lives. Now after finishing the book, not so much!

This book was a ton of information on food allergies and what can cause them and how to deal with them. So many symptoms or problems are actually food sensitivities! There is so much info in this book I may have to read it again to make sure I was able to retain it all. Lot so of contacts and info in the back.
