This book was slow at times and (speaking as an engineer) could have used more explanation of the physics of the various developments and technical diagrams. Still, I learned a ton and it has completely changed the way I look at the built environment around me, and for that it more than earns the highest rating.

My copy was previously owned by Geoffrey Blodgett. Therein lies street cred.
