Celeste (h) leaves her old life behind and moves to Screaming Woods, where she applies for a receptionist position at a detective agency. Her new boss, Atlas (H) finds himself drawn to his new employee but worries about losing control and harming her due to his monstrous affliction – he’s titan with amazing strength and speed, transformed in the Screaming Woods incident years before that left turned many of the town’s residents into monsters. But Celeste is equally drawn to her overly large bass and is definitely up for some workplace fun. Hot and steamy monster quickie with a hint of danger and lots of heat, including primal play, voyeurism, and size difference. Loved when Celeste corners Atlas at the bar and asks if he’s there for the show.

Atlas is a Titan and works as a Detective.. He does not like being around people because he does not want to hurt anyone and he also uses a Brace on his arms that helps him stay in control and look a bit normal.. This small town called Screaming Woods is amazing to read about and you should check the other books out because the town is awesome and the romance is sweet..

I liked the relationship between Atlas and Celeste because they were sweet together.. I am glad that everything worked out and they got a happy ending

This is an OK paranormal romance, but I did have a few issues with it. It gets 2.5 stars from me, rounded up to 3 stars.

First, it was too short to have as much character development as I like. I would have liked a little more backstory on both Atlas and Celeste.

I also felt like the couple was more in lust than in love. They were definitely in lust, but they just didn't know each other well enough to be in love so quickly. I get that they were supposed to be fated mates, but Celeste was human -- so she wouldn't have fallen in instalove.

Finally, there was a lot of sex in this story. I enjoy romantic sex scenes -- but these were pretty explicit, with a lot of dirty talk. I just didn't find them romantic at all.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

I made it my mission to read every book in this "Monster Between the Sheets" and it was mostly disastrous, but I wanted to try. When I read that the next book on the list was from Fern all-my-heroes-wear-condoms Frasier, I rolled my eyes, preparing for a bad read. And it was disappointing, just like all of her books. I swore them off because they are a waste of my time, but there she is in this mess, so I decided to get it over with.
The sex is nothing to write home about, (neither is his dick since he can still wear human condoms). I hate condoms because it means the hero wants separation from the heroine and he had them in his desk, so he is prepared to fuck anytime anywhere (and probably has, otherwise why does he have condoms in is office of all places?? He clearly fucked OW in there). The author is trying to convince us that Atlas hasn't had sex in years, but I don't believe it.
This is the story of a Atlas, a Titan who explodes into a huge form when he loses control. He works as a detective, he hires his secretary a sunny, cheerful Celeste. He tries to stay away from her, she tries to seduce him. They fuck, and talk (I think Fern wants it to come across as witty banter, but it is just boring dialogue.) There are loving words, she encourages him to be free and turn into his Titan form. I can't be bothered with the details because everything was ruined by that damn condom use.
Don't waste your time on Fern Fraser. She sucks.

Celeste MacRoth grew up as part of the traveling circus. Her parents were killed a year ago in a car crash. Her brother Brody stayed with the circus and used his inheritance to buy a motor cross bike and equipment. His goal was to get good enough to play in Las Vegas shows. Celeste used her inheritance to buy a townhome in Screaming Woods despite the rumors that monsters live there. She needs a job to pay the mortgage and her other bills.

Atlas Everlast owns the North Star Detective Agency. He hires Celeste to work as the receptionist and his office assistant. He’s a monster, a Titan, so he’s afraid of the feelings he has for Celeste. She knows Atlas is attracted to her but doesn’t know why he’s trying so hard to protect her from him.

Will Celeste get Atlas to give in to his attraction? Will Atlas’ true form scare Celeste? What happens when Celeste takes a second job as a bookkeeper to get her brother Brody a new motor bike at Sinful Sirens, the strip club?

Interesting story about two unique people.

Good but it missed the charm of Screaming Woods

While I enjoyed this book, it wasn't really a Screaming Woods book. I mean, it was. It's set there but literally nothing but the back story fit. Even the name of the place they got burgers from wasn't the name of other eatery's in Screaming Woods. There was absolutely no other interaction with the other residents. There was more of a mention of what seemed like a completely different series involving his friend Knox & the magic creatures from some other place roaming the woods. I miss the feel of Screaming Woods. This could have been in any town cause he was basically like a giant man most of the time. There was also some plot holes. There were alleged gang members roaming around her development - dropped. Nothing came of it. The guy Chopper & Freddy from the circus doing potentially illegal stuff - dropped. I don't like that. Still, I enjoyed it but only gave it 3 stars cause of the plot holes or dropped plots & not really being A Screaming Woods book - even though it's supposedly set there. Also, the US doesn't call their cash notes. Not an actual issue but still.

This time around we have a lady who's new to Screaming Woods and a man who gets a little beastly if he lets go. Which means Atlas is VERY careful around Celeste because he really really doesn't want to hurt her.

That said, Celeste pushes the big guys boundaries every chance she gets. Sure, she feels a little guilty about it once she realizes his fear is more about hurting her than anything, but she likes him too much to let him keep putting himself in the background when it's obvious to her they'd make an excellent match. On the other hand, while Celeste sasses Atlas easily and enjoys seeing him step outside his comfort zone, she's hesitant to ask for help for herself. Which causes a little tension between the two.

A friendly game of golf, an encounter in the woods, a titan who needs to protect his lady, and a lady who might have found the perfect town to settle in.

I loved Tempting the Titan (A Monster Lite Spicy romance) Monster Between the Sheets. I loved this series. Celeste needs a job and ends up being hired by Atlas, a titan. He was one of those changed that fateful Halloween. They have amazing chemistry but Atlas worries about hurting Celeste. He will do anything to protect her when he finds out she’s in trouble. Can this titan who’s afraid to love and this sassy receptionist have a future? Can she really accept a monster? I just love this storyline and the characters. These stories are so well throughout and I love how they all intertwine. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Titan Love

Celeste wanting a simpler life decides to move to Screaming Woods. Now who told her that Monsters were simple and quite I have no idea but she finds love, a home and more than just a man. Enter Atlas..a very very large man that is part demigod cause of a bad potion transforming him years ago.

Atlas from the moment he sees Celeste knows she is his but he is afraid cause his emotions are tied to his transformation. Celeste doesn't care and in short time, she not only falls for him but get him out of his own head and sooo into her..wink wink.

Fran Fraser is kinda new author for me but one I plan to continue to read.

Simple, instalove that is forever, every girls dream.

I absolutely love this series. The team of authors involved are excellent. Atlas is one of my favorite "monsters" so far. He's a Titan, he turns into a very big guy. He has himself under control pretty well until he meets Celeste. She stirs him up I'm a way he isn't used to. He tries to keep his distance, afraid he will get hurt if he follows through with his feelings for her. But Celeste grew up in a circus and I'd say she's a little more open minded than most. But even more than that, her and Atlas have firey chemistry. I loved these two together. The ending was perfect and so was the bonus.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story based in Screaming Woods is about Atlas and Celeste. He became a Titan after drinking the punch and has hidden it away as much as possible. She becomes his assistant at the detective agency. They have very opposite personalities which provided the humor. There were times in the story that it felt a little muddled, like there should have been more info or details given. While having interesting characters, it didn't feel like it flowed well to me. It was a funny, short romance but maybe not what I was expecting. 3.5

Love at first sight...with some sweet temptations

Tempting the Titan by Fern Fraser is part of the multi-author Monster Between the Sheets: Season 2 series. We are back in Screaming Woods where Celeste is hired by Altas to be his receptionist. For Atlas it is love at first sight with everything lighting up inside him. Celeste moved to town to have a quieter life but when she falls for Atlas she is soon to find out just how complicated life can get.
For me this story was good but not quite what I was expecting from the author. I still enjoyed it but was confused at times with some time jumping that was not defined.

i think first time author... couldve been a very good one but the writing is just so choppy which made the plot didn't flow kind nicely... also, what age gap? I dont even know how old the hero is... it can't decide if the hero is grumpy or dork? one sec he is all grumpy an gruff, the next he cracks jokes like he does every day and being smiley.

seems like the author throws in all the kinks for marketing purpose it while unable to execute it well... what voyeuristic thrills? what size difference? what chemistry? what primal play? that was so randomly threw in with no lead up.... quite disappointed actually

Part of the Monster Between the Sheets: Season 2 series, another great story that held my interest. This is detective agency owner Titan Atlas and Celeste his new, human, assistant's story. I enjoyed reading their story with its twists and turns, drama, danger, villains and romance. This is a series I want to read all the books in it. Overall it was a good read. I felt like there was a lot getting crammed into the story between her past with the circus and what happened to Atlas. I would have liked Atlas and Knox’s history flushed out a bit more. I felt like at times there were parts of a story thrown out there but not filled in. Celeste and Atlas we’re lovely together, I liked her determination to get want she wanted. Atlas was this huge hulking man but such a cinnamon roll. Overall it was enjoyable.

Ehhhh.....

Storyline had potential but the whole dialogue, inner thoughts and reactions of these 2 grown ass people felt so juvenile. Celeste is supposedly all professional yet she acts like a high school tease and gets upset when her boss who told her to behave doesn't give in. Atlas is like the awkward dweeb in school that turns into a butterfly yet she still acts and reacts like an awkward dweeb.

Spice level is also very meh. 1 BJ, 1 quick romp in the middle and then another in the 2nd epilogue.

Tempting the Titan

Celeste has moved to a new town seeking a new start in life. She no longer wants to be part of the circus like her brother. She managed to get a job as a receptionist, that pays well working for Atlas. Atlas is an investigator, a good one, and in demand. He is also a Titan with a powerful monster within. He ensures that he is not triggered into his monster by keeping himself contained, not experiencing much emotion. Celeste is full of emotions and joy and whimsy.

Celeste and Atlas are one great couple. Atlas is a private investigator but also a Titan, almost a God. He has just hired Celeste to be his receptionist. I loved this story. It's a really sweet and lightly steamy romantic love story between the monster Atlas and his woman Celeste. Together they are the perfect couple but only if they are willing to go for it. Just a great little read, loved it.

I'm so excited to head back to Screaming Woods and the incredible Monster's who live there. As Celeste looks to settle in the town, she looks for a job as a PI in Atlas' detective agency. Ge was turned into a Titan when he drank the punch, and now helps his friend Knox solve cases for the FBI. I love her Nancy Drew y how these two get the perfect ending. Fern always gives you the greatest characters and stories.

I loved this series and enjoyed each of the stories by different authors.

I was able to read and finish reading this book during lunch break. Our MMC is a bit of a recluse but the FMC was able to draw him out of his shell. She was the sun that made the flower bloom, figuratively speaking, and reading how she did it is so much fun. She did tempt the Titan, in all his glory, to come out.

This is another fab Screaming Woods story and, this time, we see human gal Celeste fall for her boss (and Titan) Atlas. He really fights his attraction for her because he's worried about what he is inside, not to mention the age gap and size difference ;P Celeste is equally attracted to him, though, and is more than willing to cross the boss/employee line. Lol! Expect a hot monster romance that's filled with all things steamy, with some danger on the side ;D

It's another story set in Screaming Woods and this time it's with a demigod Titan. He's afraid of hurting his assistant, but she's the perfect mate to balance out his raging beast. When they finally let their guard down and get to it, it shatters the building and windows with their passion. Super steamy and a fun read, with just a smidgen of danger thrown in to balance it all out nicely.

They had an instant connection but Atlas held back worried his monster side may harm Celeste. Celeste wasn’t giving up!! Fern Fraser wrote a really interesting, entertaining, imaginative & lovely story. I liked Celeste & Atlas very much. Their chemistry was fun & sexy. Backstory was interesting. I was so engaged that I sat & read it straight through in about an hour.

I loved that it had epilogues & a bonus download epilogue. I can hardly wait for Celestes' brother Brodys' story.

Loved the tenderness in this monster romance. She’s sassy and pushing all his buttons trying to break his tight control. Great storyline, enjoyed all the new characters and the many new directions this series has taken. Can’t wait for Brody’s book, and hopefully something new with these unknowns that seem to be cropping up.
