Writing urban fiction is my passion. My writing career began once I started writing articles on multiple topics for different websites, but I hadn't yet established myself as an author.
Through my college years, I learned and absorbed useful information regarding skin nourishment, hair care products, and natural remedies in addition to being anxious to express my creativity and experiences in the African American Romance genre.
I published my first Romantic Suspense novel "Partially Broken Never Destroyed" in 2012, which was when I took on the title of being an Authoress. Be sure to check out all five parts of this Urban Thriller series and visit my website.

I enjoyed reading this book although sometimes it was hard to keep up with the main character’s perspective and voice it still was a good read. There were some scenes in the book that I felt could have been expanded a little more just for special emphasis. But the main character was very well developed unlike many writers who try to depict their characters as “flawless” this authors strengths lies in her characters’ flaws. You could feel the many emotional and internal struggles that she was faced with. I loved the strong message that the author sends to her audience.
Wow that was intense....Kayla was put though it but in a whole she knew her worst and kept it pushing . I love her strengths and caring t wait to see what next for her and baby Nicholas...Dana got her due sad but she asks for her ending ....Michael is bish made...and I kind of liked Richard but Quincy is a atomic dog ....OUT FREAKING STANDING
Some say a baby can make you grow up really quickly. I believe that is what happened to Kayla. She made the same foolish mistakes over and over again until she had the baby. That’s when She stood up (like the millions of black woman before her) and did what she needed to do for her child...whether it was with or without the father.
This book kept me reading, not wanting to put it down. It kept me intrigued the whole book. Wanting the author to write another book so I would have something to keep me busy. She has a great way to keep you into the book. Thanks for giving me a great book to read.
This book had me interested from beginning to end. Every time I tured the page I was anxious to find out what would happen next. It actually is a testimony of so many young women today. This is a great read hands down.
Kayla suffers a lot of heartache and heartbreak, as she tries to pick up the pieces of her life and move on. She doesn't always make the right choices. It's a good story and the characters have a dynamic way of interacting, and having that touch of unbreakable reality. Life doesn't always go as planned, and there is always the concept of trying to move on, which is harder to do. Good story.
