I wish that this textbook spent less time explaining water to the reader and more time explaining topics like metabolism more clearly.

Very detailed, thorough textbook with excellent diagrams. However, the writing is laborious, and overcomplicated. Additionally, many of the detailed steps are explained before the diagrams of the pathways are shown. Could easily be simplified and the sequences of text altered.
