I won't rate this book because for the life of me I can't take this seriously. I should've DNF this earlier on, but for some reason I wanted to know what the 4/5 ⭐ ratings were all about. Unfortunately, I feel like I read a different book and since I made it a new rule not to give 1 ⭐ rating anymore, I'll stick with not rating this at all.
I'm just going to put some scenes and my thoughts about this book.
1. They had a ONS four years ago on her 18th birthday, tbf, he didn't know she was barely legal the first time they did it. But they had a repeat the second day even after finding her actual age.
2. Four years have passed, he fucked so many women trying to forget her memory. But he said he only fucked those who looks like her and every time he imagined Ava in these women. Sure buddy whatever you say. "I wonder if she thought of me when she fucked other people like I did? Every time I sank inside someone, I would imagine it was her all along."
3. After seeing each other again, he had a 180 all of sudden claiming he's been in love with her for the last four years and he wants her in his future. 🙄 They never talked about anything mind you, and they jumped straight to boning each other. When she told him she's not on birth control he screwed her hard wanting to knock her up. I mean where was the freaking conversation? They never know anything about each other, aside from the fact that they're good in fucking.
4. The first time they did it in his office, his secretary came and caught them together. She told Ava she was his side piece LAST MONTH and apparently Ava is the current one for the month. She also told her she was not the first intern or first employee he fucked in his office and some of those women are still working for the company. She laid out all these facts in front of Tate and he didn't refute because everything his secretary said was the truth. 🤮 But he did panic because he knew this info would ruin his chance again with Ava. 🤦♀️
5. After the incident from #4 you think Ava would grow some spine and develop some sense of self-preservation, spoiler alert she didn't, I'm disappointed but not surprised. Tate went to her apartment and her brother opened the door then Tate punched the crap out of him. He didn't show remorse for this and she didn't get mad that he hurt her brother or that he had the audacity to get jealous. Tate was supposed to apologize for what happened in his office, but he got mad after her brother told her not to have a loud sex again. He asked her in a threatening way who was the guy she fucked and she said it was none of his business and every guy she fucked in the past had nothing to do with him. And Tate used this as a reason to tell her that it was the same for him, all the women he fucked were in the past because she's his future 😑🤮 Again, I thought they were going to talk more, but guess what? Apparently those lines were enough for the night and they proceeded to bone town again.
6. He'll do annoying things without informing her then she will get mad. But once they're face-to-face, the body betraying syndrome would always prevail. Gosh what is wrong with her? I had so much hope that she would be a badass FMC, unfortunately she was dickmatized by Tate. 😮💨 And this is their routine, all throughout the story. Tate will piss her and she'll get mad, only for her to become a puddle of goo when he's around.
7. Let's not forget how Tate always used violence around men who come near Ava. For someone successful, I expect for him to be level headed about the possibility of bumping to her previous hookups, but no, all the freaking time he let his fist do the talking. He warned her not to talk to her previous fuck buddy yet Ava has to see all those women he fucked in their company. This asshole is really something. He also likes to throw things to the nearest wall or break things when he's mad at a situation and can't get a hold of himself. Seriously, he needs to take some anger management lessons. 😩
8. The love bomb dropped around 52% and my response was "uhm, whaaaaat??" How they fell in love I'll never know because all they ever did was lust driven. 🤷♀️ Correction, it was Tate who said this, Ava only said these words around 83%. This is probably where the "he falls first and hard" trope comes in but Tate is not swoony. Most of the time I want to punch him and his manhoe ways never left my mind.
9. These men talk about women like they're only good for one thing. These disgusting pigs openly discussed their transgressions and I don't think I can't continue reading the books of the three remaining guys. I'm sure by now, this series isn't for me.
10. As for what happened to Ava, I had an idea but I didn't think it was that horrible. This was kind of hard to read and I'm so mad for what she went through.
11. As for their solution to trap the enemy, it was probably the only way but it doesn't mean I have to like it.
12. Lastly, half or more than half of this book is smut, and it's too much for me. I think the only good part of the book started when Ava told Tate about her secret. It was a nice twist and I enjoyed that the bad guy did get the punishment he deserved.
Overall, not for me, though I might be interested in Mase's book. He's married and has an ongoing divorce for the last four years and he never sleeps around. I might read his story since he's not a hoe unlike his best friends.

Another super steamy and taboo story by BJ Alpha. I really enjoyed enjoyed the story that is Tate and Ava's journey to forever ❤️. Tate was just living his best man 'ho best life when he was gobsmacked by Ava four years ago. Their chemistry was off the charts, but when he finds out how old she is, he figures letting her go is best, not realizing the reality he is leaving her to. Fast forward four years, they bump into each other again, and now she's an intern in his own building. This time, she's old enough for forever. This time, he's not letting go.
There was just so many things I loved about this story. I liked how Ava took control of her sexuality in the face of her past and I LOVED the fact that she wasn't pining away for Tate and had moved on. I liked how Tate was all in from the second he saw her again and how over the top he was for her - with everything, lol. The banter and chemistry between them was awesome. The spicy times were super hot, but, not going to lie, it was a LOT for me. Not what they were doing, but the frequency that it was described (le gasp, I know I'm in a minority, lol). Overall, it was an interesting story, well written, and fast paced. I loved seeing so many of our previous BJA characters and so many breadcrumbs for what's to come!

Ava is the definition of the one that got away, as least to Tate she is anyways. Tate and Ava realize they work only a few flights away from each other after a staff meeting occurs. When Tate realizes how close she actually is, he determined to win her back and make her pregnant.
Tate is my favourite character that BJ Alpha has written. He is just everything.👌🏼
He is the definition of a book boyfriend or book husband, whatever you want to classify it. It was damn nice to read a man that isn’t afraid to show his vulnerability and shed a few tears. Like most of BJs characters, Ava is strong, independent and she’s been to hell and back and she fights like hell to come out better than before. Her secret is definitely not something I would have ever imagined, so what a whirlwind of events.
I loved everything about this book. The chemistry between Ava and Tate. The learning of the backgrounds. Even the love story. The banter not just between the two main characters but all of them. The plot. The spicy scenes were hot AF. I find there is not much character development but this book is fast paced. Not really much time for that.
I highly recommend checking out Tate. I actually recommend checking out Shaw first then Tate.
The STORM series is turning out to be so good and I can’t wait to read Owens story.

Tate where do I start, Becky has written yet another fabulous book with a tuff story line and a lot of hot steamy scenes.
I love how Becky can write such hard story but can balance it just right, you are laughing one moment crying the next and getting all hot and bothered at these hot steamy scenes.
It’s even better as we get to see other characters from BJ books and get to know new ones.
I was so happy that Recce made an appearance in this book cause without fail his character has me laughing out load.
I loved Tate and my heart is still mending after reading read Ava story.

Good read!
Tate is Books 2 in the Storm Enterprise books.
This is Tate Kavanagh and Ava Delaneys' story.
Ensure you have read the trigger warnings before you dive into this one.
Ava is the one that got away, and Tate knows he was stupid and isn't prepared to lose her again regardless of what lengths he has to go to to keep her this time.
This book is full of dark secrets and so much pain.
Ava deserves to be free and soar, and only Tate can help her get there.
I really enjoyed this book. The plot is good, and it comes together perfectly, a little gruesome in places but so worth reading.

Ava deserves to be free and soar, and only Tate can help her get there.
I really enjoyed this book. The plot is good, and it comes together perfectly, a little gruesome in places but so worth reading.

BJ Alpha has done it again. This is another fantastic book and series.
I already loved Tate when we first met him in Shaw and was happy to get his book. I loved how drawn to Ava he is and unable to stay away. Love a guy who’s possessive and he certainly fits that.
He and Ava had such undeniable chemistry and the spice between them was incredible.
As always I was hooked straight away and desperate to know what was going to happen between these two.
The friendship between the guys is everything. So many fantastic moments between them.
I enjoyed how the timelines overlapped from the previous books too.
Amazing book. Highly recommend and can’t wait for what’s next!

This is the second story in the Storm Enterprise series and the MCs are Tate and Ava. Ava is the one that got away years before. Now she interns in Tates company and he just knows he can't let her get away a second time. He loved her for one summer, now he vows to get her forever. The chemistry between these two was off the charts hot and the spicy scenes were down right filthy🥵🥵🥵 I freaking loved that😉 Aside from the lovestory between these two, the friendship between the guys was incredible❤️ Please check the TWs and if you are ok with them... It's definitely worth a read😍😍😍😍

There is so much to be unpacked in this story and some nuggets of things that will lead us into the next STORM Enterprises story. Ava has walked through so much in the time she has been away before leading her to her position with STORM. Tate was never going to get over the one he couldn't stay away from. I absolutely loved getting to see the array of other characters in this world and how they all work together. I can not wait to see the chaos that will be coming in the next stories from BJ and how all the family's play a role in this world. There are so many direction's that BJ can go within this world and I can not wait to see where she leads us next.❤️❤️

DNF at 50%. I couldn't get myself to finish it. I wouldn't say it's a terrible book, but I'm so tired of books being recommended simply because it has a lot of spicy sex scenes.
To me, the characters actions (especially the FMC) didn't match the characters beliefs. For instance, Ava saying she would never let another man put her in a submissive position again because of her past. Well, clearly, that trauma wasn't that extreme considering it took no convincing on Tates part. She submits to him every second she has the chance. There's nothing wrong with submission, but don't write in a book how the character is fighting with trauma and doesn't want to submit, but have no scenes or plot where she battles that head on.
Another ridiculous part was Ava absolutely must be the model in the advertisement. What person works in marketing but makes it a guarantee in their contract to be the model? It was just weird and an unnecessary problem to throw into their relationship when the plot could have been more focused on the past trauma (which [predictable]im sure is brought up at the very end of the book as the climax, but without the buildup, it doesnt land.) She's clearly done well for herself, so getting ahead and having money wasn't a problem. I just dont see how this advert was necessary for the plot.
I haven't read passed this point and don't think I will. I wouldn't say it's a terrible book and think you should form your own opinion, but this is how I feel. I wish authors would put equal effort into their plots as they do their sexy scenes.

Most of the time you don’t find an amazing plot AND amazing spice but 🥵🥵 this one is both! I love their backstory and how strong they’ve both become from it! The spice is off the charts.. that tattoo of his 🥵🥵🥵 umm yes,please!! This series is amazing! I think Tate may be one of my new favorite book men!

I was really enjoying this except for that drama near the end. Tate purposefully hurt Ava to "protect" her. One of my most disliked tropes. And I don't like that it basically took a couple sentences for her to forgive him. I get it, he believed it was becessary but it doesn't erase the words nor the hurt it caused. Ava beleieved that he would go through with his threat that she ran away. I wish there was a little bit kore pwriod of him groveling lol. Other than that, I really enjoyed their instant connection and how Tate claimed her once they met again.

My heart felt like it skipped a beat when Griffin Snider shows up & when Tate had to go through with the stupid plan, I wanted to scream because Ava was thinking the absolute worse. Thank goodness the sexy Finn O’Connell showed up to finish the disgusting pile of garbage named Griffin. My heart was on cloud nine the rest of the book & I couldn’t have been happier, especially with the appearances of two O’Connell men & Luca Varros. Also the cat that Reece so graciously paired with Tate had me laughing at the damage he has caused in their home. Now you will find me stalking BJ Alphas page for the next book in the STORM enterprise series.

Not for the faint hearted…
If there’s one thing you are guaranteed when diving into a BJ Alpha book, it’s filth. Pure, unadulterated, spine-tingling, blood-pumping filth. And this story, I have to say takes it a step further than I think any of her previous stories have gone so far. I’m waiting to see where this daring writer takes things next… because this is wwoooaahhhh on every level.
This kind of book isn’t for everyone though, and it really does come with a warning for those who have specific triggers. This is gritty, feisty, and downright dirty. So, you have been warned.
It’s safe to say that my tastes have definitely changed over the 3 years I’ve gotten back into reading and I’m the first to admit that in the early days, I think this would have shocked me, and maybe I wouldn’t have liked it as much as I do now. There’s a lot of smut talk and Tate certainly is very, very commanding in the bedroom almost to the point of aggression but I guess it’s Ava’s reaction to his roughness that makes you realise just how deeply he feels about her and her about him. Would I like it myself… that’s debatable but between these two, it works.
I like their dynamic even though they are very intense and into each other from the get-go. But there’s always that insecurity as you are constantly waiting for the shoe to drop. Everything they want, they get. And they are so together and so in love that you just know something or someone is going to come along and ruin it. And of course… it does!
Honestly, by that point, I had become so invested in these two that my heart broke for them both. You can feel how much it kills them both and that’s how you know that the writer has got you.. because you feel it in your gut. That sickening feeling and your holding yourself back from reading ahead to make sure you’re not going to be bereft and heartbroken at the end.
I have to say… I’m looking forward to the next instalment when we may finally get to know what’s happening between Owen and Laya, because geez those tensions are running high.

3.5 stars - i was kinda confused by this book.
i was super hyped to read it, but it wasn’t what i was expecting.
the beginning was good, the whole unknown connection + ons taboo etc etc. however, i feel like there was a whole connection between the fmc and mmc that happened some time during this, which we didn’t see??
the mmc acted as if he was obsessed w this girl, enough to get a tattoo for her (???) BUT LITERALLY WAS THE BIGGEST WHORE AND SLEPT WITH 30+ WOMEN JUST IN HIS MF DEPARTMENT…. nasty.
when the fmc and mmc meet again, they acted as if they knew each other for years and were fully in love before they separated, which confused me because we didn’t see this whole relationship transpire.
there was a lot of spice, which i liked and didn’t think it was too repetitive, but some stuff was weird man. this dude watched her pee - like face to vag close - while doing a pregnancy test. not to yuck anyones yum, but as soon as she mentioned HER PEE PROBABLY SPLASHING ON HIS FACE THE SAME WAY IT SPLASHED ON THE PREGNANCY TEST, I was in SHOCK 😭😭😭😭😭
i’m sorry but genuinely i had to skip past every sex scene after that bc i was so weirded out man.
also, i felt that the real sadistic dark stuff, was pulled outta nowhere. we were reading these two smash for 90% of the book, then in the last 10% we get into some mafia level torture stuff + learn about this intense torture + past gang rapes of the fmc. i feel like if we went this dark route, it should’ve been longer? and not just thrown in at the end and closed down within a few chapters. especially because we don’t really see this being alluded to much throughout the book, except for the locks on the door and the fmc’s weirdness ab her ex.
idk man. i really liked the obsessiveness of the mmc, and the spicy scenes were really hot (a lot of some alpha male marking breeding shit out of jealousy - which i loved) <33

Après une connexion que tous les deux ont ressenti, rien de plus ne va se produire. ...4 ans plus tard... Tate bosse dans l'entreprise 'Storm' avec ses meilleurs amis. Afin de battre leur concurrent, ils doivent réaliser la publicité d'un parfum mais sont en manque d'idées, ils font appel à leurs internes et tient tient tient qui voila Ava !
Tate est super possessif, il veut Ava point barre. J'ai trouvé ça un peu bizarre au début. La construction des sentiments et de la relation entre les deux personnages est hyper superficielle voir absente. Perso je suis pas du tout exigeante sur ce point mais LÀ j'ai trouvé ça presque bizarre comment "d'un coup" Tate veut Ava et dès qu'ils se revoient, 4 ans après, il a aucun doute, il est absolument pas choqué et veut tout de suite une relation avec AVA.
Beaucoup, beaucoup de SMUT, presqu'un peu trop dans le sens où l'histoire est très superficielle, en tout cas au début.
Choquée par l'histoire d'Ava, c'était presque dure à lire WOW l'enfer qu'elle a vécu. Par contre j'aime bien le fait que Tate soit sa 'safe place' même s'il est un peu border des fois.

I just can’t even begin to describe how much I loved this book. BJ definitely knows how to write. Her books always deliver so much, you’re guaranteed a wild & steamy ride every damn time. Tate was beyond perfect, just absolutely amazing. The only way I can describe this man is an OTT possessive jealous cinnamon roll! With Ava he’s sweet and caring, says the most incredible & heart touching things, but he’s also got an incredibly dirty mouth & is so hot in the bedroom- & every other room! These two were SOOO dirty & bad together! That hot as sin scene in the car… it left Tate literally speechless & me hot!!
I loved Ava, she was a feisty sassy little stick of dynamite! She refused to feel like she was being caged again & wasn’t afraid to step up to Tate. I loved her fierceness and strength. I loved when Tate told her she wasn’t going out without him, & she said yes she was & hung up on him! She had fire, she was a true warrior & survivor. I couldn’t have been more prouder of her & happier then when she finally got her revenge at the end.
Some of my favorite moments were of course with Reece! I love any chance I get to see him & of course P*$$y in BJ’s books! I was laughing at his reaction towards Tate at the charity event. He knew exactly what Tate did to his family’s cat as a kid & wasn’t happy. I was smiling when he set Tate up with Blinky, that cat was a nightmare! That was so Reece! Another thing I loved seeing was Finn! It’s always sweet to see him come out to play in the torture scenes! And I was giggling when Tate insisted on helping Ava take her pregnancy test! He was just too much!
I can’t wait for the rest of the guys stories. I want each of them so bad! I want to know more about Layla and Owen’s history, I want to see Reed, the proclaimed playboy, finally fall for his girl, and I really want to see Mace get the family and HEA he so deserves.
I loved Ava, she was a feisty sassy little stick of dynamite! She refused to feel like she was being caged again & wasn’t afraid to step up to Tate. I loved her fierceness and strength. I loved when Tate told her she wasn’t going out without him, & she said yes she was & hung up on him! She had fire, she was a true warrior & survivor. I couldn’t have been more prouder of her & happier then when she finally got her revenge at the end.

This was a super steamy book! Ava and Tate had great chemistry together and they clearly have an intense connection. There is a lot of spice in this book!! Ava is a very strong FMC - she has no problem standing up to Tate and they balance out each other’s personalities. Seeing Ava with her brother was very sweet. The way that Tate stepped into their lives and was so caring made me smile. Tate being the ambassador for the Cats Protection Service in NJ had me laughing.
When Ava’s past comes to light it is very traumatic. Tate does a great job listening to her and making her feel safe. When that past threatened them, he has to take some drastic measures (which I did not like) but he redeemed himself in the end. The end of the book is very satisfying…a certain mafia guy from the other books might offer up his basement…

I absolutely adored Shaw, the first book in this series, so the expectations were high for Tate’s story and boy did BJ Alpha deliver!! This was a beautiful
and heartfelt story that bombards you with a maelstrom of emotions as you buckle in for one heck of a ride!!
This is, without a doubt, a dark romance, but beneath the dirty talk and hot, hot scenes there’s a vulnerability that leaves you breathless. It’s sweet at the same time that it’s sadistic. It’s heartfelt at the same time that it’s ruthless.
I’m not under selling this book when I tell you it has every single thing that will have you crying buckets when it ends, and wondering how the heck you managed in your life before you got your hands on this masterpiece.
Tate is a larger than life character. He brings so much to this book that I’m
unsure how to fully portray him
and do him justice. I love that he has the guys at his back, they’re the family he chose and for many people that’s more important than blood.
Ava is a beautiful character who is pure of heart. She endures her own hell on earth in order to protect those she loves. She is driven and successful, she’s absolutely awe inspiring. She has built a wall around herself to protect against being hurt. I can relate to this, as I’m sure we all can. Our walls are our protection in this big, bad world.
Watching Tate and Ava traverse their rocky path was heartfelt. I loved that despite Tate’s badass persona he opens himself up enough to show vulnerability to Ava.
The steam in this beautiful read was off the charts!! There’s enough electricity between Tate and Ava to light a city. This is one hot, seductive and beautiful read.

Well DAMN! I got so lost in this book I was sad when it was over. This age gap, forbidden romance was one for the books. The rest of the guys at STORM Enterprises have big shoes to fill because Tate owns my heart right now! It was breathtaking, tragic, heartbreaking, smutty, possessive and overall EPIC!!
Tate may seem like the chill free, careless guy, but deep down his heart is full and pure. He just hasn't found the woman he can settle down and share it with yet. Watching Shaw build a family has inspired him to potentially give up his carefree ways. And when he met Ava at his parent's party for foster kids, he thought he found the one. Only one slight problem, she's 18 and is one of the foster kids!!! In his mind she's practically jailbait but for some reason he can't stay away. At least until their time together at his parents are up. Now it's years later and he's struggling to get the perfect advertisement done for a perfume company. So, they rope in some interns to get a fresh perspective and low and behold, Ava is one of them! Tate can't think straight once he recognizes her, it's like all those feelings he had come flooding back full force. Of course, he never fully got over her or forgot about her, but he got by in other ways. And Ava is a force to be reconned with now. She feisty and fierce, but just like Tate she never got over him as well. When they first met, she noticed how he truly saw her for who she was and the internal pain she had and hoped he could be her knight in shining armor. It's never too late to get your hero!
I loved the battle of wills these two characters had. Tate and Ava are a dynamic duo together and even when she tried to fight her feelings, she knew deep down it was hopeless. Tate is the one and his possessive & protectiveness of her is HOTTT. Why is it when a guy gets all macho it makes them Hot and Sexy because Tate is no different. Ava is a powerhouse in her own way as well. What she went through is unbelievably heartbreaking and sad. I cried reading what happened to her, it physically hurt to read it. But even going through that, she was strong and did what she had to do to protect and get custody of her little brother. Tate notices this and makes him fall in love with her even more. I loved how seamlessly he fit into their little family. He became a father of sorts to Todd and their bond was beautiful.
Like I said, I was sad when I finished this book because I fell so in love with these characters and the story that I just didn't want it to end. I know we still got 3 more men and their stories to go but Tate just captivated me and latched on tight. Please check TW/CW before reading. BJ touches on some pretty dark trauma that won't be for everyone. I'm someone who isn't affected by any triggers, and it was still heartbreaking to read about Ava's past.

Ava was the perfect match for Tate, in every possible way. She was feisty and one hell of a strong character. I loved her from the off and my love grew ten fold throughout the book.
The spice was definitely spicing and the tension hit hard. The dynamic between the two was brilliant and the chemistry was off the charts. This was a match made in heaven which created one hella spicy situation.

Tate is such a character in his own right, you think he's a typical playboy from a rich family but that's not true at all!! Tate's life started out rough and he was in the system. A young boy struggling with his rage found family and love. He found brothers and friends for life who helped him become the man he was as did his foster parents.
Ava is such a fierce person!! This girl has been through so much in her short life that no one should have to go through!. Ava also knows the hardship of being in the system as she and her brother were both put up for fostering after their parents died. Ava was only 18 when she met Tate but she knew when she met him that she wanted him, that it was her choice and she was taking it!. Ava put the people she loved before herself and sacrificed so much to get to where she wanted.
Tate and Ava both went through different things, both people struggling with a sense of loss they didn't know what it was until they met again. Tate knew as soon as he saw Ava again that she was his! He wasn't taking no for an answer and Ava didn't want to say no either! They were each other's person no matter what 🥹🥹
