With steam and grit, Warren captures your attention and has you begging for the next chapter. Book gold!" - USA Today bestselling author Adriana Locke for Private PropertyWelcome to the Midnight Dynasty... The warring Morelli and Constantine families have enough bad blood to fill an ocean, and their brand new stories will be told by your favorite dangerous romance authors. This book is intended for readers eighteen years old and over. It contains material that some readers could find disturbing. Enter at your own risk...
Skye Warren continues to WOW with what is certainly the swooniest Midnight Dynasty love story of them all. Two for the Show tugs on the heart strings with it's angsty tenderness from the first page to the last, a Morelli story surprisingly sweet and emotionally rich, and one certainly unique to the dark and edgy Midnight Dynasty ecosystem. It's complicated, it's compelling, and I can't get enough of them. I've never rooted for two characters in this world as hard as I have for Eva and Finn. And after two books with the endearing and so very GOOD Eva Morelli, I don't think anyone deserves an HEA more.
You can always trust Skye Warren to make the story equally spicy, heartbreaking and edgy with her words. Two for the Show is no exception. This billionaire romance is epic in every sense. The intense and raw feels. The filthy chemistry. The intricate web of lies, danger and deception.
This is book two of Eva and Finn's trilogy. Eva Morelli, the level headed and most balance of his dysfunctional family is a mess right now. Billionaire Finn Hughes ended their fake engagement and broke her heart because he is scared of his family's curse. But Eva has just found out that she is pregnant. How can she deal with a man who is in love with her but terrified of future and just wants to self sabotage.
My heart just broke over and over again for Finn. Seriously this man is something else. So gorgeous, so charming, so alpha yet hiding an ocean of pain and vulnerabilities. He is afraid and almost sure that he will suffer the same fate as his sick father and that pushes him to enclose his heart behind cages. He is not living. He can be a reckless playboy and an adrenaline addict but when it comes to love, he is messed up. Eva is exactly the kind of strength he needed. She is the epitome of beauty, fierceness and compassion. She is the binding force of her rich and powerful family with endless issues. She protects everyone she loves with ferocious intensity. And right now it is Finn and her baby. She is pulled to so many different directions but she held herself together fiercely. And that gave Finn the final push. Their passion is as scorching hot as ever. But their hearts have to go a long way. Specially now when Finn's secrets are exposed and his whole world is exploding. Finn and Eva are true soulmates but their journey just got more difficult.
Ps Leo Morelli just gives me a major case of butterflies and swoon everytime he comes on the pages. No matter how many Midnight Dynasty books I read, he will remain my number one.
I absolutely adore Finn and Eva. The character development was on point as we saw a different side to the pair. Once again this author has delivered an amazing book and memorable characters. It is beautifully written and the emotions the characters feel have you feeling it along with them. This addictive series has me falling even harder for this world and seeing some of the Morelli brothers had me swooning. This is a must read that will pull on your heartstrings and hoping for their hea. I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of their journey and what the author has in store for us.
This is pure Skye Warren. All love. All pain. All heat.
Brave, poignant. Love and heartbreak all wrapped up in a romance against all odds. It's a story about hope and despair at the same time. Can they be separate? Oh, how I relish this kind of writing. So beautiful and laced with sorrow.
I was eagerly anticipating this second book in the trilogy because the cliffhanger in the previous book was a strike to the heart. I needed to know what Eva and Finn would do! Is it the end for the blooming love, or are they going to fight for their happiness together? Wow, this book is actually hard to read in the sense of emotions because it hurts this wonderful couple and it hurts to sympathise with their grief.
Eva is such a good woman. She cares and protects her family and everyone she cares about. She is struggling with her new circumstances, and I couldn't help but feel her doubts and loss as if they were my own. And then, there is Finn. Oh, this lost man! He's in a maelstrom of fear and despair. Does he make mistakes? Of course he does, but they come from a hole of darkness that I wanted to fill with light. These characters are so alive and strong, so human and lovable. The author has made a courageous effort in depicting their emotional crusade with such tenderness and honesty.
I think this book deals with mental health in various degrees, so it's a veritable journey of the heart. It's also got a couple who loves deeply and teaches valuable lessons in life. The hot moments take place in highly emotional situations and they have a purpose in the characters' evolution if we give them time to set in.
Amazing job from the author, and I am aching for the final book which is going to be epic by the look of that cliffhanger!
Still good, Eva And Finn story grabs my attention, want to see how it ends, how Finn deals with his illness, the baby that's on the way… But this one, and it's only for that, I rated lower, has too much anguish, and it's not my favourite kind of reading.
Finn, completely freak out with the idea of having a baby, but he's also dealing with company problems, his employees are demanding to see his father, after all, Daniel is still the CEO. He should have retired him sooner, now it may be too late. And the hell breaks loose, when he forgets about everything in his retirement party. Now Finn has to deal with the scandal, and Eva too. The media is already asking questions about the condition of the grandfather can be passed to the unborn baby. This ends with a cliffhanger.
“Don’t keep it in. Tears don’t mean you’re giving up. They mean you’re gathering the strength to begin.”
Fear of the Hughes Curse, a medical condition the Hughes men have suffered from for generations, means Finn keeps everyone at arms length. Yet his head and his heart remain a contradiction.
When he learns some unexpected news, he is forced to accept that, despite his best laid plans, the universe always wins.
This installment of the trilogy takes us on an adventure full of emotional ups and downs. We see Finn and Eva’s affections grow despite the uncertainty of their relationship and future. Many of our favorite characters from the Midnight Dynasty series show up throughout this book which is always fun.
Two for the Show doesn’t have the steam factor that I usually crave. However, the storyline is so engrossing that I’ve hardly missed it. I am so looking forward to the series conclusion and learning what the Hughes Curse means for Finn and future generations!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Burn: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Darkness: 🤍 Heat: 🌶 Range of Emotions: 😩 Ending:🧗🏻♀️ {Cliffy} POV: 👫🏻 {Dual}
I was foolish to fall for Finn Hughes, but I’m outright ridiculous to wish I’d stolen his heart, too.
I will forever be an Eva and Leo stan. I love the sibling bond between them almost as much as I loved to hate Finn Hughes.
This book picks up immediately where book one left off; Eva heartbroken and trying to wrap her mind around how she's going to get over Finn. She fell hard and fast for the man, only for him to let her go in the coldest way. Admittedly, as much as I wanted to hate Finn, I just couldn't. My heart hurt for him. Skye did such a great job letting us get glimpses of his darkest vulnerability and you can't help but feel for him. His deepest darkest fears and his desires for things he can never has.
He pushes Eva away for what he thinks is the best for her. He can't be her future knowing what his future holds. But the most recent development makes that almost impossible for him. How does he bring himself to walk away now?
Their back and forth dance lasts almost the entire book. Which I equal parts enjoyed and didn't. I love the angst and feel of it. But I also dislike how easily Eva forgave him, knowing what she's been through. I wanted her to make him work for it, and not just give into her baser desires even while they were in the same spot and he continued to spin his narrative. But it didn't take long for me to move past this because Finn is just impossible not to love.
I'm not a reader that enjoys the whole surprise baby trope. But yet, it worked for me here. And that doozy of a cliff? I can't wait to see how it all comes together in the final book.

Two for the Show - Skye Warren Rating : 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Heat : 🌶🌶 Cliffhanger : ✅🧗♀️ Part of a series : ✅ (Book 2 of 3) Stand alone : ❎ (you need to have read One for the Money first) Complete Series released : ❎ (Book 3 “Three To Get Ready” Releasing 17 Jan 2023) H and h : Finn (Phineas) Hughes and Eva Honorata Morelli
Skye Warren’s Two For The Show, picks up with the cliffhanger where One For The Money ended. What started off as a mutually beneficial fake relationship and engagement, morphed into true feelings of love between Finn and Eva. However at the end of One For The Money, Eva is left broken hearted and pregnant. Before she could tell Finn that she was pregnant, Finn quite suddenly and brutally broke up with her and this is where Two For The Show picks up. Both Eva and Finn do not shirk their responsibilities, they both have strong ties to their families aswell as a deep sense of loyalty. Although these are all admirable qualities, they hold Finn back from Eva. His fear of and experiences with the Hughes curse of early on-set dementia makes Hugh avoid relationship, and the last thing he’d ever want to do is to genetically pass that curse onto a child. In every part of Finn’s life, this worry is like a loud ticking clock, counting down the days to when his mind will deteriorate. It is a black cloud, that constantly hangs over Finn. Finn’s agony and fatalistic approach is juxtaposed against Eva’s optimism of “where there is life, there is hope”. Finn feels that Eva is getting a raw deal with him and that she deserves so much more than him. At times both Eva and Finn are heartbroken and torn, but they need to remember that “Tears don’t mean your’re giving up. They mean you’re gathering the strength to begin.” Just as things seem to be falling into place, Finn has to deal with yet another problem. We will have to wait until the next book, Three To Get Ready, to see if all will be resolved and if they will get their HEA. I’m also hoping that Finn’s brother, Hemingway, will also get his own book! https://www.instagram.com.undercoverr... #undercoverreads #twofortheshow #skyewarren #contemporaryromance #fakerelationship #dangerouspress #valentineprlm #finnhughes #evamorelli #finnandeva
Can I just say the lure of this series is the characters. The richness of the history of these powerful families that are entrenched in crime, tragedy and constant struggle.
Eva Morelli is the thread that keeps the family together. It's her loyalty and love that binds and keeps her family moving. I relate her as the eldest daughter. I feel the weight of her responsibility and want to ensure everyone is happy and thriving. This task is so huge. It's finally her turn to have a HEA. It's her turn to be loved and supported. But in true Morelli fashion its messy and filled with doom.
The part that is driving me crazy is these short ass books. Just release the whole thing, charge my 15 if it makes you feel better. But I want the whole book already.
This is the second book in the One For The Money series and it picks up right where the cliffhanger left us screaming OMFG!! This story has had me hooked from the first book and I'm so excited to see where it takes us. Finn and Eva are both trying to maneuver their way through the complicated family dynamics they each have while also working through their own emotional, complicated relationship. These two have me rooting for their HEA but they will definitely have to trudge through hell to get their, so buckle up because this cliffhanger was mind-blowing. I absolutely need the final book but I guess I'll just sit here impatiently waiting!
The second book in the One for the Money Series, continues with Eva's discovery I’m pregnant with Finn’s baby. Planning and keeping Daphne and Emerson’s reception on track, is her perfect distraction, but still I wonder what I’m going to do. But Eva is sure I want the baby. The baby is mine. I’m going to have a baby.
But than the object of her distraughtness saunters in, and when Finn touches her Eva can't help her reaction towards him. And Finn can't take his eyes away from here, which is why he notices her movements and he knows instantly.
Finn will need to learn to accept the inevitable, but mostly stop lying about his feeling towards Eva and their unborn child.
While they navigate the difficulties about their relationship, Finn also needs to manage the Hughes Industries and his father's absent role. The cliffhanger we are left with is one for a heartfelt WTF, and I'm wondering how Skye Warren is weaving the ticking plot.
Told in dual POV's alternating between Evan and Finn, it's Finn's that has impacted me the most. Finn's deeply rooted believe and fear for the unavoidable train wreck in his near future is evident in his behavior and actions, both in his personal and professional life.

Part of the Hughes Series and must be read in order:
I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
It may have taken me what feels like forever to finish this book, but it was so good! I loved being back again with Eva and Finn! These two have such great chemistry with one another, and no matter how much they want to deny their feelings for each other, is undeniably blatant how much they love each other. True, pure, beautiful love that packed full of emotion. I really don’t wanna say too much more about this book, because I feel like I’ll give something away. Just know that, I honestly can’t wait to see where things go in the third and final book. With the bombshells that were left in this book, things could go anywhere.
"That’s the thing. I don’t want to be his responsibility. I want to be more."
This book was heavy, emotional and quick. I devoured it in one sitting. Some parts were heartbreaking and the story was undoubtedly well written. The plot was gripping but the conflict felt repetitive. It was easily an engaging read. I loved that it focused more of Eva's relationship with both her brothers - Leo and Lucien. The bonding between the entire Morelli family was wonderfully portrayed. Everytime Finn & Eva had to face the reality, it was painful to think about their situation. I think you'll love to hate Finn because you will understand where his concerns are coming from. In the end, he's just a victim of circumstances. I am looking forward to read how does Eva & Finn's story wrap up in the next book. Because Eva deserves to have her own HEA.
This is a weird series for me, in the sense that it's really low on steam, and I'm not sure if I'm all that interested in the couple. Fake relationships and anything revolving kids/pregnancy are favorite tropes, but neither storyline is pulling me in with these two. BUT, I am 100% invested in the story. This is by far the most emotional series so far in the Midnight Dynasty world, and I'm here for it. And there has been an unusual amount of family interactions, which I am LOVING. So while I'm still not sure how I am feeling about Eva and Finn and their own story, I am quite enjoying their series, and am excited for it to continue.
Two for the Show is a rollercoaster of emotion. Now that the secret is out a decision must be made. Can Eva continue with the charade now that things got more complicated? This series is so addicting and I can't wait to finish this series.
Eva and Finn go their separate ways after he realises she is more dangerous to him emotionally than he realised. However, after they do Eva discovers she’s pregnant with Finn’s baby😳 A great story with an ending that left me wanting to discover what happens next.
I received an ARC for this book (gratefully❤️❤️) in exchange for an honest review….and devoured it in 4 hours! This was one of my most highly anticipated books to read this year, ever since I was introduced to the Midnight Dynasty world. Skye has once again written a beautifully challenging love story amongst two people coming to grips with one of the most important decisions to make. It was heartbreaking to read about Finn's decision to push away Eva, as it was reading how dejected Eva felt in her position. There is also more backstory as to Finn's mom's (Geneva) decision and Hemingway's disposition that allow better comprehension of their beliefs and choices.
Reading their story made me feel sympathy and empathy for Finn (by thinking he is realistic and practical with his decision), while I felt genuine sorrow for Eva (who looks to the positive of this situation). This story created a much more realistic tone and delved deeper into the consequences of choice. Eva and Finn are one of my favorite couples in the Midnight Dynasty world and I am enamored with the way Ms. Skye has weaved a love story with obstacles that I do not usually come across in books today. It is also always wonderful to read scenes with her favorite brother (Leo), who makes special appearances throughout the book, as well as the rest of the Morelli siblings. I truly believe Skye outdid herself with this sequel and cannot wait for the conclusion of Finn and Eva's love story...🥹
Another fantastic book by #SkyeWarren in the #MidnightDynasty world!
I thought the first book in the #OnefortheMoney series was great already, but I think this one topped it! There is so much going on, with so much emotion and drama and I am so here for it all! Especially with that ending again!🤯
Some things I did expect, some things came as a surprise for me.
The best part of this book?? EVA!! By a long shot, simply because I adore her so so much!! She was much colder in the beginning (of course, she was hurt, duh!), but I loved this so much, because she was so strong and didn't take BS from anyone! And then the way Finn tried so hard! Gah, I love it! That business proposal! 😂 *swoon*😍
And also the side characters!!! I haven't read Leo's and Lucien's stories (#TheBeast and #Heartless ) but now I really want to, because I love these two so much!! Wish I had brothers like that!🖤
The conclusion of this chaotic little fangirl review?! lol Great writing, great characters, great emotion and drama and EVERYTHING a good book needs!! I. Love. It!❤️
The second book in the trilogy is out now and it packs more enjoyable moments between these two characters.
Eva has a decision to make that it does not come easy. Finn is still a broken soul and a stubborn one, I would say as well.
Their chemistry is undeniable, and their attraction to each other is relentless whenever they met.
The family drama continues with a mistake made by Finn. Or at least that's what some may say. I think he actually makes the right call in indicating what's happening behind the doors. I’m intrigued to see how this situation will be wrapped up honestly.
I was taken aback by his mother's words regarding his relationship, but I also can see where she is coming from and I empathise with her.
This story was like watching a reality show with celebrities that go to charity balls, demonstrate they are humans and have feelings outside the shiny exterior and their fortunes.
Looking forward to the next and last instalment in this trilogy. I need that happily ever after.
I could not wait for Two for the show to be released and have been waiting for it since I finished reading One for the show. I was not disappointed with this story as we continue the story of Eva and Finn. This book was just as angst filled as the last story and the chemistry between the two characters is still as strong. This story will has all the feelings and made me really feel for both characters.
Eva was a strong character that really fought for what she wanted in this story. I really loved reading about the character growth she went through in this story.
I really felt for Finn in this story as he tried to sort through his feelings and think about his future. It was clear in this story how much he was struggling and how much he loved Eva.
It was difficult to put this story down once I started reading and read it in one sitting. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series and find out how Eva and Finns story will end.
OMG! This book ripped my heart out. Every time I think nothing more could go wrong, Skye Warren says hold on to your butts! Lol Finn & Eva’s story has really resonated with me because I’ve seen what dementia does to people. Reading Finn’s thoughts, and how hopeless he feels colors everything black. I cried through the last few chapters of this one, and that cliffhanger!!! I can’t wait to see what comes next. This situation is sticky, and how are they going to clean that up? I can’t wait to see how the Morelli brothers stand by their sister!
In this second book of the trilogy that happens in The Midnight Dynasty world we have a heartbroken Eva and a conflicted Finn. Their story has been less dark than most in the series, it’s quite emotional and heart wrenching. It’s more romantic and less kinky, while it still has spice, steamy chemistry and hot scenes. I’m enjoying this storyline, I think some aspects that are realistic are so relatable for people. It’s really tugging on my heartstrings. The fate Finn has looming and his broken and damaged family really add so much deep emotion and heartache. I love both characters, Eva has been the Morelli family member I’ve really loved from earlier books. I love Eva’s strength, loyalty and tenacity. She’s such a force in the best ways. I loved this story, I was a bit emotional for both characters and also hopeful. They both fight some fears and there is character awakenings. I love the secondary characters (family of both Eva and Finn) The cliffhanger ending was an interesting addition. Inevitable I think. I am really hoping for a miracle and happily ever after for these very lovable characters. I’m excited for their last book.
Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for this arc ! I cannot wait until the next one ! The characters are growing and I love seeing it. Eva is such a good person always putting everyone before her. Finn is learning and thinking of other people. The ending was so good ! I can’t wait for the next book :)
A typical second book that drags us to the series' final. This one has too much introspection and too little sex. Finn's story is sad, and Eva isn't a happy character either, so the book gravitates towards a black cloud of melancholy all the time, which was a little exhausting to me.
I liked the ending and will read the next one, which will certainly be better!
