This is my 4th sentient read and I loved it. This is probably the cutest one. I enjoyed her initial reaction to things going on. Like 😳😅 same lol. Loved that he had a bit of a wild side to and the way he handled business 😎 this was
I'm only at 6% percent completion and this book is already in my Top 3 Worst Reads Ever. It's awful. The author does not understand commas. Additionally, the author does not understand how the lack of appropriate commas makes reading this story feel like ice picks jabbing into my eyes. She also doesn't understand how to make the noun and verb match in regards to singular or plural status. I wish for her keyboard to be removed immediately. I pray that she is placed in the front row of a 6th grade English teacher for a semester or two before giving it back. What makes this sin even WORSE is the fact that the story was a GOOD idea but it was executed so poorly. It was terrible. I wish I had this time back. Save your KU slot for something worthy or something fun, even if it is half-assed. This is NOT it.
ETA that it only got worse. Damn shame. Cute idea. Horrid execution.
Kindle should pay me $3 for all the typos I reported while reading this book.
I don't know what to rate it. It is beyond unhinged. You think its a silly little book - it is not! Seriously think of the most left field plot based on the summary, and I guarantee this books is worse. He has yarn tentacles! Trinity's depression is intense and should be taken as a Trigger Warning. But don't worry, the knitted-boyfriend solves it all in 137 pages!
I couldn't decided if Alexander created this plot to cure her own depression or as an excuse to write some unhinged pure filth? But why should I choose - she clearly didn't!

uh... okay first off whoever on goodreads said it was "great & consensual" ... did you forget they tied up her ex and c*ckholded him without his consent forcing him to watch??? anyway this book was TERRIBLE i've read other sentient books and enjoyed them fine but this was a shit show from start to finish. The spelling errors were rampant and i'm not author or english major but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE SPELLCHECK?? using both poor and pour in your book but not knowing which means which is hilarious tbh I will say i liked the *idea* of the book but the execution was far from what ever should've happened.. and i read a book about a turkey that becomes a man. Anyway the only way i would recommend this book is if you do what I did and read it out loud over a karaoke machine that has voice changing filters.
Listen… I have no explanation for why I read this other than it was free. I… I can’t say that I loved it… But I also can’t say that I hated it. Taboo? Yes. A good read? Also yes.
I was actually shocked that I enjoyed this as much as I did. I feel like it tackled actual real life issues that a lot of novellas and sentient stories do not. Grief, depression, anxiety, self-deprecation, suicidal ideation… I think that is why I enjoyed this. Because in times of such terrible despair, you are always looking for even the smallest good thing. This girls ‘good thing’ just so happens to be a man that was knitted out of yarn from her deceased grandmother’s knitting kit. 3.5 stars. Pleasantly impressed.

This was a fairly fun, short and spicy read. No real depth or much plot but it was cute and easy to read. Really needed someone to edit/proof read as lots of spelling mistakes and incorrect words sadly!
I'm what that says about me, but it actually was such a fun read! It had way more substance than I thought it would and I loved how everything ended up turning out in the end
This book is cute and silly, with some spice scenes. It’s a light and unserious book, could be good if you’re in a slump and just want a quick smut with some laughs for a pick-me-up. With this being only about 130 pages, the plot is pretty dull and resolved sooner than the characters confirm it as such. The magic rules and other beings kinda fell flat for me because it was all too convenient. But this book seems to be more about the 🌶️ and humor if you ask me. Definitely relatably funny if you’ve tried to pick up crochet/knitting. Some typos were found but the writing is simple enough to get the point. The only thing that gave me slight ick is the baby talk towards the mc’s cat, it’s just cringey reading baby talk in a book. Otherwise this was a fun quick read between books for me.
I approached this book with a sense of humor, and it did indeed provide a highly entertaining experience. The concept was original, but the execution was marred by frequent grammatical errors and clunky dialogue. It’s clear that this book wasn’t crafted to be a literary masterpiece, and in that regard, the author succeeded. The story managed to hold my attention just enough to finish, but I’m relieved it wasn’t any longer; extending the read would have made it increasingly difficult to persevere. If you’re in the mood for a book that is intentionally amusing, this one might be just the thing to help you appreciate better-written works and pull you out of a reading slump.
Cute, fun, consensual. All things that I love! The premise was super interesting and creative. I liked the voice of the FMC, she’s sassy! Typos and use of the wrong words in books really takes me out of it. Needs editing.
I will generously give this book 2 stars, mostly because I read this as a group with some friends and we couldn’t stop laughing. Also, the lack of editing was rough.
I found myself saying (wtf) many times, the fact that he helped her through things was amazing and it was a very cute story. But an odd one for sure! Lol
I picked up this book because it reminded me of a manga I read when I was younger (probably too young to be reading it, I should add) about a girl who “creates” a boyfriend but only gets him for 72 hours (it’s called Absolute Boyfriend - any synopsis you read would probably be a better descriptor that that mess I just wrote).
This gave me a similar vibe and I decided to see where the story went, and I just wasn’t expecting any of it. I can tell the author had fun with the story, and put a lot of heart into what she wrote.
Overall, the plot was cute and unique but I’m not really sure who I would recommend this to. It’s always fun to read something that an author obviously had fun writing.
Revised: I also really appreciated the POV switch at the end. This is one of the first books I’ve read in a while where I kept thinking “okay but what’s going on in HIS head?” Kudos to the author for predicting that thought process.
I honestly don’t know where to start…. The first two or three pages gave me SUCH HOPE. The idea of a magically knitted man sounded kinda fun…. But as soon as he appeared, it all went so far down hill that we were underground….. this “man” was sent to Trinity (our main character) to help her through the grief of losing her grandma… but literally all they do is bang. And I’m sorry but…. She must have a MAGICAL kitty-cat because before their first time, this man barely spoke or did much. After??? He grew an entire personality.
And hey, I am NOT against straight-up smut, I’m for it. But literally not even that was written well…. And not to mention, the was the most instant of insta-loves I have ever read.
I wanted to like this so much, especially as someone who likes knitting and crocheting, but this book made me want to cry.
Don’t even ask me about the guardian light orbs and how this MESS of a main character could EVER help anyone by being a guardian too….. 🤮

This book has a handful of crazy little triggers, I'm just going to slap them here: Illness, Death, Grief, Manipulation
I liked how the Grandma Dotty never really left. She brought Trinity a lover after all. I enjoyed the supernatural element of the book.
The fact that Grayson was brought to Trinity as a yarn man threw me off. Also, the scene where Grayson trapped Jaxson (Trinity's manipulator ex) and made him watch them slap bits was CRAZY. Also, the fact that Grayson was a guardian angel delivered to Trinity by Grandma Dotty was a really sweet element. Lastly, was OBSESSED with how the book ended.
Tale as old as time: girl meets her yarn guardian "angel" sent to her by her dearly departed grandmother, girl falls in love with yarn boy, girl and yarn boy decide to both be guardian "angels", and they live happily ever after.
I wasn't expecting much from this novella, but I did expect a bit more substance. I wish I could say this was at least a fun read.

The idea isn't bad, but someone should have edited this book. It's so full of spelling errors, there were a few sentences I had to read a few times to understand due to them. I feel like if they took more time giving the book more meat and editing, it could have potential. I did love the idea of the story, just disappointed in the execution.
This is my first ever 1 star review. This book was so full of typos I couldn't decipher some sentences. My husband and I debated if it was written by AI or human. The story isn't even good for a "monster" romance. I feel almost embarrassed to leave such a low review, but it was earned.
DNF at 77%. This could have been such a fun book but it was so poorly written that I couldn’t keep going. Also, please consider editing a book before publishing it. I didn’t deserve to read that many errors.
Even if you somehow can manage to ignore the gigantic multitude of spelling and sentence structure mistakes in this book, the story isn't worth it either. Tropey stereotypes and characters that felt shallow and 2 dimensional. And the spice scenes are written terribly. I never want anyone to ever speak to me that way about sex.
