In the depths of Newark's darkness, I am Kult—a savage fragment within Augustine's fractured mind.We are a sinister brotherhood—Pain, Harlow, and Atlas—companions dwelling within Augustine's tormented psyche. He calls us roommates, believing we safeguard his sanity, but we thrive in the shadows.Augustine, our puppeteer, masquerades as the club's Chaplain, concealing his own darkness beneath a veneer of faith. He commands, and we, his obedient marionettes, enact his macabre desires. Then, she arrived—a wild Butterfly disrupting our malevolent harmony. Her light threatens our dominion, drawing us in like captives. But our madness is an allure we'll use to break her. Then shape her into the embodiment of our darkest This story unravels a man with multiple personalities and spans a six book series. The books follow each other and must be read in order. The psycho thriller and MC genre aspects fluctuate from book to book.Enjoy.
Don't miss this opportunity to have all five books in one of the best series I've read. It includes:
1. Butterfly and Atlas SWEET BEJEEZUS!!! I so enjoy Lucian Bane's writing style so when I was offered the opportunity to read the first book, 'Butterfly and Atlas', of his "Royal Bastards MC: Newark, NJ" series, I jumped at the chance. I read the blurb and it more than piqued my interest I couldn’t wait to get started. And then it happened. My heart started racing, I went back and re-read the blurb, went back to where I left off in the book and read for a bit more to finish the chapter, closed the book, and went to get something to drink to let my system slow down again. That sounds intense, doesn't it? I promise you, Mr. Bane sucked me in with these six characters until I was completely immersed; curious, intrigued, fascinated, awe-struck, and yet there were those parts that set my own butterflies loose. And this is only the beginning!!! I can't wait to start on 'Butterfly and Pain' next.
2 Butterfly and Pain HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!! There is no way I can even begin to give you a glimpse as to what is going on but this has got my heart racing, I'm flipping through pages so quickly while reading that I look like my grandmother's old cat clock's eyes rocking back and forth. Five men in one body while Butterfly holds the key and she doesn't know how to use it. This is one of the most exhilarating storylines I think I've read in a long time, perhaps ever. There's no way to not become invested in all of them which makes me a little fearful of what will happen if the doors become unlocked. Lucian Bane has created a masterpiece with this series and Pain's story is a small piece in a very large puzzle.
3. Butterfly and Augustine OMG! OMG! OMG! My heart is racing and I'm literally shaking right now. 'Butterfly and Augustine' just took this storyline to the next level. Its adrenaline-packed erotic scenes are so powerful and the chemistry only adds another layer to that. Then there are all the clues that are being found about the men in Augustine's body. Oh, and don't let me forget the Truce breakers and that whole scenario. Once again, I feel like I was right in the middle of all this and I'm going to step away, get a cup of coffee, calm my system down, and then jump into 'Butterfly and Harlow'. I feel like an addict waiting on my next fix, it's that good.
4. Butterfly and Harlow How can I even put into words the amount of adrenaline I've expelled reading this book? Lucian Bane has taken an MC genre and blown that whole concept out of the water! If you haven't, for whatever reason, started this series then do so immediately. Just keep in mind that this storyline is built upon the previous book so it's a must that they are read in order. That said, everything so far has brought us to Harlow and now Quantum. There are so many twists and revelations in this book that I'm still sitting here with my heart racing over. For me, an author's job is to keep a reader engaged, enthralled, and entertained with the story they are delivering and Mr. Bane has done that in spades. If this were a movie or series, an Oscar nomination would be there by now … big as life.

I sincerely do not have the words to describe my experiences reading this series. It's one I will read again and still find so much I didn't catch the first time. It's a series that truly stole my heart and Butterfly and the men who she loves so deeply embedded themselves right into my soul. It's amazing how I felt I knew what was going on and then found out I was so far off course and knew nothing about what was coming next! Each of these people have a story that truly touched me and affected me emotionally. I adore each and every one of them even those who have a smaller role. Lucian Bane has been one of my favorite Authors and books like these are the reason why. Each character is developed perfectly. Each story is told slowly revealing more and more of how they suffered previously and how they became who they are. Butterfly is a woman who is amazing! She's passionate, grounded spiritually, funny, at times confused and scared but she loves unconditionally and has overcome so much in her life she just shines and others around her can't escape her love nor do they want too. The ending is amazing and leads us to the next two books then another crossover to the Syphon King book in the Bayou Bishops series! So although a choice was made with a wonderful surprise at the end this is just the beginning of another amazing experience that I will devour again and again! Read this series because it's amazing! 😍💕💥 Oh talk about erotic welllll its Lucian Bane folks be prepared to sizzle😈
she begins hiding things, sneaking and cheating on the already too large group of men she is supposedly in love with. I don't like reading about betrayal done by the female lead. Maybe because I tend to relate to the female leads and it's something I would never do. I don't know but I just don't buy her love anymore. No matter how turned on you are, you don't suddenly forget your partners.
The mystery of why Augustine is the way "he" is was a twist I wasn't expecting. I didn't love it but I was willing to move past the unrealistic nature of it to continue the story.
There were a few love scenes that were scorching hot. Very well done. Others that were pretty boring.
Lucian Bane is a self described word alchemist…and it’s true. As his Butterfly changes and heals each one of her loves (and herself), he transports us, his readers, through a soul altering voyage of adventure, unexpected twists and mind blowing masterfully written cliffhangers. He does this each and every time in each and every book—and his readers love it. I love it. Best of all? This journey takes you, his reader, to other interconnected adventures happening Lucian’s other (quite captivating) stories and book series.

I'm just 5 books in on this series and I am obsessed. The characters are so unique. The way they communicate with each other is fascinating.
These guys work together to do some really hard things. Such as kill and literally tear apart the bad guys. When Butterfly shows up, they have met their match. She said God has sent her to help him. Wait until she finds out about the 4 living in his mind.
So anxious to continue with next parts. Great job Lucian. Keep them coming!
I need to understand something. Who all were on Death Row besides Pain and Kult? I know Augustine and Sync joined by invitation of Dr. David, but how did Atlas and Harlow get there?
And what happened to Handy when they all got their bodies back!
The No Name Gang are with the people trying to use the brothers for evil? Wow!
Interesting story to follow along. Almost like Captain America, scientists messing with the human brain to create a super human. Gets into the wrong hands until they escape and find their butterfly to help them back to themselves.
What a ride. I read this because I love the Bayou Bishops so much. This did not disappoint. The greatest lesson I learned was - love someone where they are. I want to be Butterfly when I grow up. Thank you for having this on Kindle Unlimited.
Great read, filled with lots of twists and turns. You think you know where the story is going a d then it goes a whole other way. Can't wait to see where they all wind up.
I could not put this book set down! Absolutely loved how each one led directly into the next book. Great characters that draw you into want to know more about them.
These series begin with Bayou Bishops, then the butterfly series and quantum Kings. Keeps you on the edge of your seat and pulls you into their world. Can't wait to get back to Bayou Bishops books 16 and 17 . The music videos are amazing!!!!
I like this series: the world building, the many characters, the story. A little too much smut for me but it was always good. Definitely a read for lovers of dark stories.
I bought this series when I was rereading Bayou Bishops to fill in ready for the crossover. When I started reading I thought I'd made a mistake buying it - my brain struggled with the idea of five persons in one body. However the more I read the more enjoyable I found it especially their reactions between one another. Like Augustine going to sleep during their sexual escapades! Not putting any spoilers in but I was sorry when the ending unfolded, although it all fitted perfectly in the long run.
I have never read anything like this. It was so deep in so many emotional aspects. The Science Fiction aspect were so interesting. The plot was deep and I sank fast. Each "Brother" was unique, with so much emotional baggage, to match their intelligence. Butterfly was a woman who was living her life to fulfill her purpose. She knew she was meant to help them, no matter how bad her heart would break. So satisfying and of course, if you've read anything by Lucian Bane, you know the sex scenes are of the charts scorching hot. I'm getting the next books in this series, Now. I can't wait to see what happens next.
