After struggling with infertility for years and being betrayed by her lover, Ella finally decides to have a baby on her own. However everything goes wrong when she gets inseminated with the sperm of intimidating billionaire Dominic Sinclair. All of a sudden her life is turned upside down when the mix up comes to light -- especially because Sinclair isn't just any billionaire, he's also a werewolf campaigning to be Alpha King! He's not going to let just anyone have his pup, can Ella convince him to let her stay in her child's life? And why is he always looking at her like she's his next meal?! He couldn't be interested in a human, could he?
What is up with authors breaking books up into sections and charging full price for a portion of the story? Plus, they leave you hanging at the end of each section? The Twilight and Hunger games (not that this book’s author could even come close those author’s superior writing/editing skills) had a beginning, middle and end. If they left you hanging, at least you read a full book first. Y’all need to stop chopping up one book and charging $10 for each section.
"What's the meaning of this?" I repeat in shock, "what's the meaning of you barging into a private exam?!"
"Because," He declares fiercely, and I swear his eyes are almost glowing with rage. "I can smell my pup."
I saw this on a social media post and thought it sounded super funny so I decided to dive into this book. I enjoyed part 1 and part 2 was good also even though it was a little slower.
Now...Part 3. There is way too much in this book that didn't serve a purpose and could've been eliminated. I had to wait until chapter 111 for them to finally get intimate and even then it was in a dream. Also part of the dream, we find out that Ella is actually a wolf but as a baby her wolf was repressed. Not gonna lie but I already figured she was a wolf so that wasn't that enlightening. Cliff's Notes: Prince tries killing her again, Lydia kills the Prince's wife so she can aid him in taking the throne and sliding into the queen role, Prince plans a coup with some rogues to attack the city so there is a big battle, Lydia is the smart one and the prince is an idiot, Lydia advises the Prince on a plan that would kidnap Ella and use her as leverage to get Sinclair to quit the campaign, Ella escapes and almost freezes to death, she takes some magical herb that an elder gave her to unleash her wolf even though there was a chance of her baby being killed during the transition, baby doesn't die and he finally claims her (Chapter 142!!!!!!), Prince/Lydia plan to out Ella and Sinclair for their lies on Ella's background to ruin his campaign, Sinclair and Ella call their own press conference to tell everyone the truth about her background and about how the Prince has been trying to kill her (they have video evidence) and everyone believes them and forgives the lie thinking it very romantic.
So the Prince is officially beat and I wish the author would've hit the HEA but nope...she does a left turn on red and has the Prince not only kill his father (the King) for telling him that he lost and they should accept it (oh and that he no longer considers him his son) but he also kills Lydia because her plans didn't work. Not to be finished but he poisons the entire werewolf council (they are the final decision makers on kings; like an oversight committee) and takes command as new king after his father's death. Using the royal army he takes over as emperor. Ella and Sinclair and their family have to run/escape to stay alive. They're going to a hidden werewolf island that is safe for them.

These books are soo freaking addicting!! I have enjoyed following the stories and reading how the love is growing!! The dramatics and the romance is great!!
I’ll admit I’m sad finding out the 20+ I’ve spent on this “series” isn’t all it’s gonna take. This is the longest 6months I’ve ever read 200+ chapters and no end. The story would have been an amazing duet, maybe trilogy but knowing I’ve finished book 4 and it’s still not done is upsetting and makes me want to not buy anymore. The end of book 4 was great but it’s dragging on badly and I read someone’s review that they have read 258 and can’t wait for the rest. I’m buying these books on Amazon I don’t do the pay as you go cuz it’s too expensive and this book having over 258 chapters is ridiculous. I’m not a jerk I love the story so it’s definitely worth 4 stars but the dragging out a 6 month period is a bit much. I’m guessing it’s gonna be 6 books and they went from 5$ to 9$ as the series progressed no one story is worth 40$ to me. This isn’t a series it’s one book that’s told in parts.
I have not read a story like this before. I found it in an app first, then added to my kindle to read the next set of chapters. Short quick chapters, but it is moving so much at all times, I can hardly stop myself from reading it. The love story is humbling & aggressive all at once. The surrounding story line keeps you engaged & longing to know what could possibly happen next. This story is heartwarming & provocatively spicy. Trigger warning: some content of past sexual abuse & heavy male dominance.
Towards the end of the book. I was on the edge of my seat. Damien really went off the deep end there. Sounds more like he had a Bratty tantrum because his latest scheme against Dominic and Ella blew up in his face big time.
I’m just so surprised at how the third book has ended. Now I’m even more excited to see how this story will continue to develop. (I Love that Mate Dreaming thing that Ella and Dominic do) I think that’s so cool. Okay, that’s what I call it anyway.😄😂🤣
Obviously, a lot more of the plot is revealed, and the characters are growing and some trailing off, but it's really not worth the money, in my opinion. I don't even think I will read the 4th book when it comes out. If I would have know this series of books (or chapters) wasn't complete, I would have never started reading. Spent $22.oo that I totally regret.
There seems to be a new type of author out there today. They string you along, you pay a ridiculous price for 3 books that should have been sold as one only to find at the end they didn’t finish the story and are further stringing you along. I will NOT endorse this book or the author! I wonder how many other people like me have been suckered?
Cute story but I won't be continuing this story as it's too sweet for my liking! Easy and predictable plus lots of scenes that are too easy! It's a lovely world created by the author tho. Keep up the good work!
This third book in the series was so much fun to read. Ella’s journey is mesmerizing and exciting as she and Dominic travers through more drama, intrigue and above all the love they share.
Things are happening. Lots of things. Lots of big things! I read book 3 in one day. Hopefully I can do book 4 the same way. Dominic and Ella’s love is so special. Ella is healing his family from the inside out.
The constant drama of this book.. it’s from an app and it’s continuous. This shifter series has twists and turns and all the things happen. Some is predictable, but the writing is at least decent. The plot keeps me reading. Others may truly love this. I’m just binge reading a daytime soap novella.
I have really enjoyed the writing of this series. The author does a good job at letting you feel the depth of the characters. I have very much enjoyed the story so far.
