At 9:30 am on a Saturday morning, 12 year old Martin is woken up by his mom yelling for him - her tone implying he is in trouble for something. Someone made a mess all over the kitchen with peanut butter, and broke some dishes - but Martin swears up and down it wasn't him - he hates being blamed for stuff he didn't do! Some type of destruction becomes a nightly occurrence over the following week. Martin is convinced an intruder is to blame, but when Martin's brother finds brown fur stuck to the floor, and a huge animal print too, he's not so sure. Can Martin find out who - or what is targeting his family before it hurts them? ------------------ Kind of an odd one, and every time anything bad happened, the mom just locked herself in her room and went to sleep. I mean, honestly same, but whatever.
A decent book and fast read Its basic idea is to deliver a specific message, but it is not spooky, and the plot idea is also average and unconvincing a little bit, but the ending is satisfactory.
A dull first half or so, but then the story picks up a bit later on. Essentially a tale for children of divorced parents to emphasise that the divorce is not their fault.
Sadly, this book isn't at all scary. The cover and blurb look promising but it doesn't deliver.
It was just a stupid annoying book that I had to force myself to read for the review sake. It's not worth reading just a dumb story. Trust me because I read all 36 books.
