Harper's world has been shattered, and she's desperate for time—time to heal, time to rebuild her life, and time to learn how to trust again. What she doesn't need is a relentless, snarky biker barging into her life, stirring emotions she vowed never to experience again.

Enter Jinx, a captivating member of the Hell's Handlers Motorcycle Club and the chosen family of her new bosses. He's a man who commands attention, and despite Harper's best efforts, she can't seem to shake him.

Irresistibly drawn to the fiercely independent Harper, Jinx is determined to break through her defenses. He can't understand why the woman who won't spare him a smile has him so captivated, but he's determined to uncover the secrets behind her prickly exterior.

As Jinx chips away at Harper's walls, she grapples with keeping him at arm's length emotionally, even as they grow closer physically. But with her traumatic past and his club's dangerous enemies looming over them, can their fragile bond withstand the pressure?

First off….Jinx is a blondie..why the hell didn’t they at least photoshop the cover model?…just saying. It’s annoying. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway.
I loved this.
Jinx is such a sarcastic guy, and I love his big goof energy.
And then Harper is so forlorn and guarded and Grouchy…it’s adorable to see them interact.

Jinx was the fourth book in the Hell’s Handler’s MC Florida Chapter by Lily Atlas.

I enjoyed both characters, Jinx and Harper. Jinx was the flirty, light hearted playboy that enjoyed women as long as they didn’t get too close or ask for repeats. He was single and planned to be that way forever. Harper had seen too much betrayal and trusted no one. She was starting over and was adverse to any attachments whether it be male or female. She was strong, determined and independent.

I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. There were more answers that I wanted, primarily in regards to Harper’s past but also with Jinx, that didn’t come. The additional depth would have rounded out the storyline a little better for me. However, it was still enjoyable and a worthy read. Additionally, the MC conflict progressed some but will continue through the remaining books in the series. Lock played a secondary role in Jinx’s story and hopefully we’ll get a positive ending for him soon. All in all, it was a fairly quick and entertaining read.

I..... have mixed feelings about this one
2.5 stars🌟🌟🔅

It started out with a bang and great premise

Harper, the FMC, was unjustifiabley condemned to 7 years in prison for a crime she did not do. She gets out, finds a job as a counselor with the Handlers.
Jim, the playful playboy of the MC, sees her and you get the cliché MC internal debate "I want her, but I don't want to commit"

I liked how supportive everyone was of Harper. I guess because most of the MC men have done time at something, so they kinda adopt Harper
But still, I felt that they quickly did that! She did not give them any reason to trust her or proof of her innocent, and they simply allowed her near their old ladies!
Also, we don't get to see any of Harper's counseling skills! I know that the shelter is still being built, UT She could have at least done something to Lock!

Her internal monolgue on how she would be very difficult to trust gives us that she'll at least make it hard on Jinx, but she immediately gave herself

And the way he gaslight her when he lied to her on his whereabouts and saying "you're not my old lady because YOU are the one making it hard to become one"!!!!! Noooooooooooo
She had every right to be angry at him
He pushed her to trust him and at the first chance he lies.

Their courtship and 🌶🌶🌶🌶 moments were 🔥🔥🔥, but I wasn't convinced with their romamce and love! It was Lust mostly.

And don't get me started on how they treated the Lock situation!

Another thing that really annoyed me was the ratio of MC to Romance
I know that this is an MC Romamce but it was mostly 80% romance
We get to see little of the MC
And to give more POV to Harper, insert unnecessary chapters where the old ladies are blantly sexualizing their men and all they talk about is 🍆🍆
Do we really need that amount!

Harper was attacked 3 times but I bet in the next book she will be reduced to "one of the old ladies talking about Jinx's Bologna"
She did put out good fights and cute combacks though

So, one star🌟 for the good beginning
One star🌟 for Harper's character
And half star🔅 for the spice scenes

As always a great read, fantastic characters and a writing style that pulls you in. I loved the humour between the MC guys and girls, and the storyline had depth.
My only concern (I know it’s only fiction) but I wasn’t overly comfortable with Lock’s alcoholism and drugs being found in his home whilst he’s taking care of the baby, I know it creates a storyline for his book but that poor baby needs some loving

Lilly writes for me

I just know she does. And I appreciate it every single time. This is the story of two people who are incredibly flawed and deal with it in very different ways. You have Harper, who has been betrayed by the people closest to her, and is trying to rebuild her life from the ashes, seven years later. And you have jinx who is always worth a smile and the life of the party and copes with his trauma by living in the moment always.

The attraction between them is instant, which we love. But it’s much more than that. Even at the very beginning when it’s nothing beyond thinking that they look really pretty to one another there is a connection. Both of them have issues, and that was dealt with very well here. There were times when they needed to be checked, and that was also handled really well. The supporting characters were a nice safety net for them.

This book also sets up the next series really well. But that’s always my favorite thing about this author and her series. She weaves them together beautifully. There’s an over arching arc, but that never detracts from the actual couple that the book focuses on. And still, it does build each and every book. Which means that I know the culmination of the background story arc is going to be epic. All of the stars.

Jinx & Harper
Harper as a teengr got into trouble because of a boy which landed her incarcerated. When she was released she left town to start over, there she met Jinx who was enamored with her but she felt she could never trust another man...Jinx said game on ;)

After coming off the high of Frost and Solo Rider, I’m a little surprised to say I wasn’t crazy about this book. The beginning was interesting, it didn’t quite grab my attention like her other works have, but it had potential. However, the lack of depth or (ugh I hate saying this) originality had me struggling to finish this book.

It’s usually the MMC’s who suffer the effects of a corrupt justice system so I thought it was cool to see the FMC be the ex-con this time. With Harper being fresh out of prison, she's desperate to regain control of her life. First order of business is to get a job, & she finds one with the Hell's Handlers MC as a counselor for the new women’s shelter they’re building. (A women's shelter built on MC territory, an area full of big, intimidating men that are currently in a violent feud doesn't sound like the best idea but go off I guess.) It’s usually the MMC’s who suffer the effects of a corrupt justice system so I was intrigued by the FMC being the ex-con this time. Harper was standoffish & independent, but not annoyingly so. I liked seeing her mental struggles with reintegration, like building friendships or choosing what cereal to buy. A lot of the time it’s easier to not engage at all rather than put yourself out there. And who better to help with reintegration than the outgoing, playful teddy bear known as Jinx.

Jinx was funny as hell. He let her go at her own pace, but he pushed her and usually called her out when necessary. We get glimpses of his sweet or protective side, but I didn’t walk away from this book knowing much more about him than I did before I read it. His past, why he joined the club, and his flaws were overlooked or completely omitted. That depth was greatly needed to help me connect to the characters and the storylines.

Harper and Jinx were nice, but it wasn’t as deep a love or story as I’ve come to expect from this author. And when I say deep, I don’t mean dark or gritty. I simply mean I didn’t connect to them as a couple nor did I feel the depth of their feelings for each other. The side characters, specifically the old ladies, and the plot in general (especially towards the end) started getting super fluffy and cheesy. It felt like I was reading a Hallmark movie. The high school level dialogue among the old ladies is getting annoying. Literally all they talked about was coffee, ice cream, getting drunk, and how hot the men are. How cliché! She spends all that time trying to make them have depth and personality in their own books, but once they become side characters, they devolve into cheesy, one-note plot devices with the sole purpose of getting the MCs together.

I had some other issues with it overall. The way they handled the situation with Locke & baby Caleb had me side eyeing them hard , all the external conflict was senseless , I wanted Harper to take more ownership of her own role in her arrest , and I’m not sold she is cut out for or understood the full extent of MC life. Just because you enjoy riding with Jinx doesn’t make you old lady material. After all the drama and violence from her past, I'd expect her to be at least somewhat hesitant to associate with these people, no matter how nice they are. This book almost felt like it was written by a different author. It’s lacking the depth that I’ve seen in past books. This series has been a hit or miss for me, but I’d put this book in the miss category.

Nobody ever tells me when Lilly Atlas has new books out, and look at this! A month AFTER it came out. This is ridiculous. Amazon is always dropping the ball too. Like, you know I've read every single one of her books. Why you no telling me this? SMH.

Okay. Now that I got that out of the way, let me tell you about this amazing MC romance from the best MC romance writer out there. There is no one who even comes close. Trust me. I've tried to find someone else to read in between waiting for her to write more books. I can't find anyone this good, and it's depressing. *sobs* BUT when I do have one of her books in my hands, it's like a summer dream and I'm skipping through the meadows, happy as can be. Because, finally, I have an MC romance that gives me great characters, a not only fantastic but truly real and gritty plot, and some solid writing. And it's not so tropey that my eyes are tired from rolling from all of the "mandatory" elements these authors feel like they need to put into every MC romance. Oh, look. The club bunny fights the love interest. Who saw THAT coming???? lol

You know, I was reading something interesting on a real MC that talked about how the guys had to be responsible for the women they brought. They couldn't act poorly at club functions. This was an "outlaw" MC as well. It just made me laugh at every scene out of every one of the MC romance books.

Anyhow, Jinx is the funny lady's man of the group. He's a huge guy, both physically and personality-wise. Harper, meanwhile, learned how to handle herself the hard way: jail. Her high school boyfriend tricked her into walking into a robbery with them. Panicking, she ran off when they ended up shooting the clerk, and her boyfriend's dad pinned a lot of the blame on her, even though none of it was her fault. Poor thing. When she gets out, she ends up working for the Handlers' ladies new venture and immediately gets taken into the fold. Jinx and Harper meet. Sparks happen. But Harper is WAY cautious about men. She feels like she can't trust anyone, and...let's be honest, can you blame her? Throughout the story, Harper has to figure out how to put down her walls, and Jinx has to determine whether he wants to be more than just the fun-loving guy...all while dealing with the same group that's been giving them problems for a few books now. And, unfortunately, Harper joined the group right at the wrong time.

This was a fantastic book and such a great book to add to the series. It hints at some very serious issues that will come down the pipe without another character, which I can't wait to read about. I'm just so happy I got to read this one. So, so happy.

2.5 stars. Almost DNF after the first chapter depicting Harper’s unbelievably stupid mistake in judgment when she was 18 and “trusted” the wrong man. The rest of the story is predicated on the consequences of that mistake and her trust issues stemming from it. We hear about this over and over. We also hear, ad nauseam, about Jinx’s desire to never settle down. And yet somehow they do end up together but by that point, I couldn’t really care less.

A large problem with the story is believing Harper would ever want to be part of this club. During the course of this book (around a month) Harper is attacked 3 TIMES because of her association with the Handlers MC. One time she’s attacked after Jinx asks her to go over to Lock’s house to babysit. She tells Jinx she’s never even held a baby, etc. and he convinces her it’s no big deal. She’s at work when he asks. Why wouldn’t he just ask one of the other old ladies who had babysat the baby before? Never the less, he sends her over to Lock’s place- even when he knows what a mess it is and what a mess Lock is and that he’s quite possibly strung out. Harper was already attacked once because they failed to protect her, even though they knew the old ladies were threatened. And sure enough, it happens twice more!

On top of all that, the dialogue is cringey and the author swaps out Jinx’s high school girlfriend’s name from Jenna to Tanya. She was an important part of his traumatic history. If I caught that when I was already zoning out, I think the author should have as well.

Jinx and Harper's story was beautiful. Harper has lost so much and trusted the wrong man who upended her life for 7 years. If anyone could help Harper start over it was the Hell Handlers woman, they were just the intervention Harper needed. This crazy bunch was about to rock her world.

Loved Harper even with all the walls she had erected around her, and her prickly attitude and her guarded heart we knew instantly that she was a good and kind and loving person who just got a raw deal. If anyone could tame and bring the hit-and-miss Jinx to his knees, we knew it would be Harper.

Jinx took one look at Harper, it was a one and done put a fork in it kind of deal. Jinx 's little moments with Caleb were just heart-melting, no matter his protestations, he was a big softy under all that gruff. Loved seeing Jinx handle Harper with care and kid gloves where he kept all that alpha-ness and his dominance in check most of the time but, when it comes out to play in the bedroom it's no holds barred.

Loved the chemistry and all the sweet moments between Jinx and Harper, and loved his little nicknames for her they were terms of endearment. We are thinking Harper fits perfectly with this crazy bunch. Loved that this couple grew to trust one another and expose some of their deepest and darkest secrets to one another.

Overall, the suspenseful plot kept you engaged with an ongoing plot filled with some loose ends and a whole lot of love. An awesome read.

Love Jinx, just not crazy about this book.

The character of Jinx was great. Love that guy! This story just hit me wrong. I like this series, so was surprised by my lack of enthusiasm once I started reading. Several things didn't make sense, ages didn't line up, at the end Lock was going to rehab in a week, next page said he wasn't doing well there and would be staying longer. If I had been accused of robbing a mini-mart there is no way I would randomly stop at one on my way home. I would have anxiety, flashbacks, and just been plain old scared. After the attack, Harper downs booze,, then later drives. You went to jail because your boyfriend robbed a store for liquor yet you have no problem drinking it. Jinx lost his brother and girlfriend to driving wasted after a party, yet he drank even with pain pills. Lock's sister died from drugs, he became an addict yet all the ladies sounded like lushes, having alcohol even at work! I don't know, it just felt careless with all the problems the characters had. I love MC books and I know this is fiction, but wouldn't it be awesome to have a strong character that didn't drink but still had fun? I also think that it's ok to not have everyone in the whole book together all the time, it sounds smothering to be surrounded all the time.

Its so good being back with the Hell’s Handlers. And Jinx was such a pleasure to read 😊

Harper’s only mistake was falling in love at 18 and thinking the guy loved her too. Never did she think she would loose 7years of her life. Now she is out and just wanting a new start and keeping to herself and never giving her trust away. But that goes out the window when she gets a job with the Handler’s and their new facility for abused woman as a counsellor. This is where she meets Jinx. And he tests on her ever level.

Jinx is the fun sexy playboy of the club. He loves his life, and his club and enjoys every moment of it. And then he meets Harper, and it seems his life is just getting started. All he wants is to show her how to live again and to give of herself to others without feeling like they are going to betray her. Buti it might be harder than he thought…

It was good being back with the Handlers. And man did I love Jinx. He was amazing and exactly what Harper needed in her life. She needed this family, and she needed Jinx. And even though he just wanted her to enjoy her life, he couldn’t help falling in love. Loved this story from beginning to end. The main characters and the rest of the boys and their woman were just a good time spent. Man, I hope that Lock’s story is next because I definitely need to see how that’s going to end 😊

Harper was a good girl who got involved with the wrong boy when she was a teenager, and after seven years, she has serious trust issues to the extreme. Jinx is the happy go lucky brother of his MC, who never intends to have any sort of relationship other than one & done. Harper is starting over when she lands a job with the ladies of the Hell's Handlers MC (Florida Chapter obviously), and it was the best thing to happen to her but she's very much gun shy even with new friends. These ladies are quite hilarious (I laughed so hard with every moment of their interactions & shenanigans), and they bring her in so she can start living her life, but then there's Jinx, who can't help but flirt with her as he does want to hook up with her. I'll be honest, his inner monologue about relationships was driving me up the wall big time as he was totally living in denial as Harper is his person full stop. Their journey has serious push & pull since he wants her to trust him, and every time she gets the warm & fuzzies (and super hot sexy times) she has to pull away because she's so scared. On top of this, a familiar enemy is out to get all of them through the ladies so there are twists coming in hot with a kicker of action. I LOVED this story so much, and I'm definitely ready for more of this series (WTH Lock hint hint) so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Another fantastic addition to the handlers MC series. Jinx was a class clown always full of sass witty comebacks and a self esteem that rivaled no other .

The minute he laid eyes in Harper he almost lost his breath and choked on his tongue. The self professed love guru who'd never settle down and become "pussy whipped ' like his brothers was floored .

Harper had been dealt a bad hand in life . Manipulated at every turn by a boyfriend at age 18 landed her in prison for a seven year stint for a crime she wanted no part of . It changed her so fundamentally that she built up a protective wall around her that was almost impenetrable . Until Jinx came along .

Bless his heart he had his work cut out for him where Harper was concerned. She was so damaged she didn't trust herself yet alone anyone else.
I love how the old ladies made Harper feel so welcome and treated her like a sister she needed that in her life , to know she was loved and thought of like that started to brake some of the heavy duty walls she'd built up .

I love a happily ever after especially when someone has gone through something as traumatic as what Harper had been through.
I can't wait for the next book in this fabulous series.

Jinx & Harper

He's full of high jinks! Always the smart-alec and prankster. That and his astonishing looks and body. No woman can resist him. Suddenly the womanizer is fighting his feelings for Harper who refuses to be hurt again. Although he can't figure out why, he can't stay away. She doesn't want feelings, and finally, she decides maybe something physical but no more.

She works with the ol' ladies on an upcoming project making her part of the family to protect and make her feel welcome. She is getting closer to the women, but still fighting Jinx who continues breaking down walls.

All is not easy for the club or Jinx. Danger is out there and there's a hard battle to win. Will anyone be harmed? Will the couple finally break down those walls or will they even live to have the chance?

Jinx and his snarky personality might just make him my favorite MC brother. Loved this one although there were a couple of transitions that didn't seem clear from an emotion, commitment, or situation. Still, this goes straight into my re-read pile.

Harper must deal with the choices she’s made. But most people deserve a second chance, and she has a lot of people in her corner. Jinx has a way with words and he’s the definition of smooth talker. He would make a great MC book boyfriend. I’m not going to say too much because I don’t want to give anything away. But I will tell you that the ending is well worth the journey these characters are going to take you on.

If you have previously followed this author, then you are aware of her two Hell’s Handlers MC series. Jinx’s story is a great addition. We also get to catch up with some previous HH characters. You may be new to her and are interested in seeing what adventure Harper and Jinx are going to take you on. You could read this as a standalone but hopefully by the time you finish, you’ll want to add the rest of the series to your library.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: opposites attract; reverse grumpy sunshine
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥

Another fabulously sweet and entertaining read by Lilly Atlas! I just love a reverse grumpy/sunshine and Harper and Jinx more than deliver. Harper is the prickly ex-con who doesn't trust people or herself - especially when it comes to super charming Jinx. Jinx is a 6'6" beast of a man who's known for his joking demeanor and his love em and leave em attitude when it comes to women. Their attraction to each other is instantaneous and both of them will have their realities upended faster than EITHER is comfortable, lol. Well written, fast paced, and just enough action to keep everything moving nicely. Loved it!

Jinx is the fourth book in the Hell's Handlers Florida Chapter series by Lilly Atlas and can be read as a standalone, but best enjoyed when read in series order. It is told in 3rd person from dual perspective.

I love the Hell’s Handlers MC Series (Both Chapters). Jink is a part of the recently formed Florida Chapter. He is a big man with an even bigger heart. He may be a ladies man and not the settling down type but he’d do anything for his MC brothers and their ol’ ladies. That includes Harper, the new employee the women hired to help council at the women’s shelter they are building. She calls to him in a way that no other person ever has. But Harper has walls built up around her and seems to trust no one, not even the ol’ ladies. But Jinx is determined to find out about and tear them down.

Watching these two come to terms with their own lives, while getting to know one another made for an outstanding read. You know what they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall and Jinx is one big man.

This reader Highly Recommends Jinx and all the Hell’s Handlers books.

I throughly enjoyed Jinx and Harper's story. We get Jinx our fun loving flirty MC member who lives his life his way. when he first lays eyes on Harper he pastes on his panty melting smile in hopes of getting exactly what he always gets. Harper has suffered and has moved to rebuild the life she has always wanted, but has missed because of an event in her past. Trust is the biggest issue these two need to overcome. Harper more so than Jinx. When he decides he wants her the uphill battle is a tough one and when she opens up about her past she comes to realize there are people who you can not only consider family, but trust as well.
These two tip toe around each other, but they tear at each others walls until there is nothing but the dust left. During their battle we truly get to see just what these two are made of. Looking forward to seeing what is in store for the brothers. There is one in-particular that I know will tear my heart out.

This is the fourth book in this incredible series, and this is Jinx and Harper’s story. Harper is stubborn and fiercely independent, and is building a new life for herself, and she has understandable got trust issues, while Jinx is funny, flirty, and determined. Jinx is drawn to Harper from the moment he meets her, and he is determined to knock down the walls surrounding her heart. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, and they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with friendships, humor, witty banter, intrigue, suspense, danger, twists, trust, and love, which leads to an entertaining and thrilling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

So I absolutely love reading the Hell's Handlers series!! And somehow I missed a couple of them which makes me mad but I will catch up. But that's all right every sense the first time I met Jinx I was so excited for when his book to come out. He was always such a big flirt and a ladies man. I knew that when he finally fell it would be fun to watch. Well I mean anytime one of these big bad MC men fall it's fun but when the one who says he will forever be the ultimate bachelor does is so much better. Especially watching the lover really turn into the fighter when his woman is in danger. And I just love the sense of family in these books. Just like in the Tennessee Chapter. I need a reread of those too. I miss them boys. This was a fantastic read a great series that is a must read!! I highly highly recommend it!! ~By Tina

Fantastic!!!!

Jinx (Hell's Handlers MC Florida Chapter Book 4) by Lilly Atlas

I'm not sure that I can even put into words what a great book this was. Jinx is such an awesome guy! He ticks about every box for me. He's a big guy, has a big heart, a lover but able to be a fighter especially when protecting someone he cares about, and he's funny and sarcastic!!! ✔️✔️✔️✔️

Lol in some ways this is almost a reverse Grumpy Sunshine book where the h is the Grumpy one, but she definitely has more than enough reasons to feel like she does. Harper has been through so much but she doesn't know what's hit her with the living protective Hell's Handlers MC.

Great book!!! Loved it!

This book almost seems like it’s written by a different author. It’s lacking the depth that I’ve seen in past books by this author. I loved Jinx, but Harper’s character was all over the place. So many things put out there, but never explored or explained. The letter from Aaron just seemed kind of a pointless addition to the story. Denny being on the work crew that was “vetted” by the MC, but no explanation of how that happened. An entire cast of characters knowingly leaving poor baby Caleb with a drunk, high, out of his mind Lock in a filthy house. Also, there is mention in the epilogue that Lock is entering rehab in a week, then two pages later, in the same conversation, he’s not doing well in rehab and staying longer.

After a major betrayal by the man she loved at the age of 18, which led to seven years of protecting herself physically and mentally, Harper now finds herself free but unable to trust a soul. So when she meets Jinx a handsome giant tattooed flirty and fun loving biker with an interest in her, she puts up all her barriers to protect herself, like a prickly cactus.

I loved the story of Jinx and Prickles, there is plenty of tension, action, drama and danger as an old enemy is back on the scene. The Old Ladies welcome Harper with open arms and include her in their antics. I’m really looking forward to the next instalment of the Hells Handlers series.

LOVED it!!!!

OH. MY. HEART. Jinx has completely stolen it and he’ll add yours to the collection. We’re very familiar with this loveable goof that’s part of the Hell’s Handlers MC Florida chapter. And now we get to see him find his way to a HEA with the lovely Harper.
She’s had a very tough go of it in her young life and you just want to wrap her up so she won’t have to go through anything more. I absolutely love these 2 together. True soulmates. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you will completely love this couple. Lots of mystery, intrigue, drama and super spicy stuff keep this fantastic read moving. LOVED it!!!!

Jinx is such a sarcastic guy, and I love his big goof energy.
And then Harper is so forlorn and guarded and Grouchy…it’s adorable to see them interact.

Growing Up in an MC

What a twit! Yep, if Jinx was a friend of mine that would be my name for him. He was never going to grow up. Kind of like the Lost Boys with Peter Pan. One BIG difference, he never met a woman who was out of his reach. Oh, and all the women had heard, through the grape vine what another BIG DIFFERENCE was.

Then here comes Harper. She's been in prison for a crime she didn't commit. She had missed all the so owl skills one learns in their late teens and early twenties.

So this is their story and how both of them struggle to "grow up."

While I did not read the other books in this series, I had no trouble following the back story. Jinx and Harper's story was enjoyed enough but there were inconsistencies within the wiring that made me question what I had just read and backtrack. Because if this i deducted one star, and I deducted another star because it while Jinx was suppose to be a " man whore" there was little evidence to support this theory within this book. Perhaps it is there in the previous books but if you are going to state or and make a big deal then it should be written into the story as bit.
