I was charged with the task of preparing a cash flow forecast for an upcoming proposal. After looking at several how-to books, I chose this one due to its practical-looking format. I'm glad I did. It succinctly showed me the best way to format and structure my model, the methods and formulas to use and explained it so well that I can now teach others in the office. Financial modelling sounds intimidating, but Ms. Fairhurst made it seem no different than using Excel to create a grocery list.
