The oil clouds billow over the illustrations, battleship row is drawn on a full colour map of the harbor. Testimonials from both sides are a chapter to be expected, but those on the Japanese internment camps & Pearl Harbor on film are respectively sobering and exhilarating.

A book high on emotion. in the best possible way.

Looking back on summer 2001, the release timed to coincide with Michael Bay leaves a bitter taste. America was about to be attacked suddenly and without warning yet again.

On the plus side, we have a new Midway movie that throws in a spectacular Pearl Harbor half-hour with the grit of Saving Private Ryan, with burnt body parts up for identification.

If you're a fan of World War 2, Pearl Harbor, or just great photography, then this is a wonderful book for you. The size of a nice coffee table book, this book is overflowing with rare photographs of the Pearl Harbor attack. Not meant as a resource book, this book excels as a entertaining book. A must read for fans of History.
