An easily digestible read about data presentation, with a strong emphasis on financial and business reporting and using spreadsheets, but with clear general takeaway messages for presenting data, engaging with audiences (both through tables, charts, and presentations), and understanding how to deliver messages well. The book is laid out in quite a logical way, with helpful notes and additional information sections.

Picked up as part of a Big Data and Infographics pack from Humble Bundle.

Basically, this book addresses how to communicate with numbers more effectively. As an accountant and a numbers person, I appreciated the advice given in the book and have already incorporated many of the suggestions into my daily work.

To me, this will become a reference book to use for ideas on how to more effectively communicate data to different audiences.

Really interesting look at the process of report preparation. How much detail? Graphs? Categories? Ideas that make presentations clear and meaningful.
