I heard Eric speak at a corporate training event a few years ago, and I was struck by the simplicity of his message. His book hit all the same points he covered in our training session.
It's a good reminder for anyone in a position of leadership to check themselves; to look inward first and "remove the plank" before complaining about the speck in the eye of another. And in a world where people are so focused on getting what they want for themselves, the idea of servant leadership is sort of revolutionary.
Eric reminds us to be the kind of person that we would want to follow.
