Coilsto gives great advise on how to make IT a strategic partner with the rest of the business rather then a cost center service provider. His advice of not calling other business units your customers to avoid falling into the trap of being seen as an outsider is something that rings very true for me. As an IT Leader this is invaluable reading that helped justify many of the concepts of driving true business value out of IT I have absorbed over the years. A must read for fellow IT Leaders.
