Although it was not found deliberately, I believe the first edition is a true masterpiece, unlike this revised and extended version. In contrast with a great majority of books on this field of thought, the whole idea of Think and Grow Rich lies above a great line between definiteness of purpose and money consciousness. Apart from the general purpose of the book, this marvellous feat not only allows the reader to walk with structure in the evolution of economic changes, but it exquisitely shows a different perspective from the common sense about the history of America independence. In spite of that, Pell's extension goes a bit far away from Hill's line of thought, which the reader easily notes in the last chapters, where the book stops being practical and starts being exaggeratedly metaphysical. The 12th chapter about The Mystery of Sex Transmutation looks entirely like another book, which contains acceptable information yet distant from the actual purpose of the book. In addition, there was a paradox about love as being spiritual or biological, since it is subsequently described as emotional, which makes the reader confused. Last but not least, for those who are lost or want to avoid being lost, this book is a great practical guide to accomplish your goals based on a structured plan and be prepared in case the plan fails. It is definitely worth reading more than once yet, after finding the original edition.
