It’s my job to find out which sick fuck is responsible. Unfortunately, every lead sends me to a dead end; at least, until Aylee McFadden shows up at my door.Aylee is a stubborn, headstrong FBI agent and also one of the sexiest women I’ve ever seen with a gun. In joining me, it gives us the leverage we need to get on the inside. She fights me at every turn, but soon realizes there’s more to me than tattoos and a dirty mouth. I can’t get enough of her. Now that we’re in the game, we’re one step closer to solving the crime. However, gambling with money isn’t what the big boys want. They want the one thing I’m not willing to give. It’s a no limit game, and if I back down I lose everything. I will lose her.**STANDALONE NOVEL **
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author L. P. Dover is a southern belle living in North Carolina with her husband and two beautiful girls. Before she began her literary journey she worked in periodontics, enjoying the wonderment of dental surgeries.
She loves to write, but she also loves to play golf, go on mountain hikes and white-water rafting, and has a passion for singing. Her two youngest fans expect a concert each and every night before bedtime, usually Christmas carols.
Dover has written countless novels in several different genres, but her favorite to write is romantic suspense. However, she has found a new passion in romantic comedy, especially involving sexy golfers. Who knew the sport could be so dirty and fun to write about.
Audiobook review. I really enjoyed this story. Aylee and Jason work well together and as their initial animosity toward one another builds into more, they transition into their attraction well. They are working together on an investigation that is seeing high end escorts in Vegas dead. While on the case, they meet some interesting characters who have to be checked out as suspects. I liked the way the plot was planned and executed because it built the anticipation. I admit to having an inkling that proved to be right re: the killer but it was still executed well. I liked the drive and commitment that Aylee exuded. She was a strong FMC. Jason had the sexy protective alpha type down. Together, these two were a great fit and worked great as a team. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing, despite appearances. Yes to rape and abuse.
For most of this book, I was hook, line and sinker... but there were definitely parts that I couldn't get on board with.
The open sharing of facts with non FBI or even police agents was bewildering to me. That wouldn't happen no matter how much you think you trust someone especially when they had no idea who the real suspect was. And as we find out, just when you think you know who it is going to be, you don't...
Jason and Aylee's relationship was great and sweet for me... almost too sweet and easy for what they were going through. It felt a lot like insta love and didn't work for me.
And for her to be a hooker, they acted WAY too lovey dovey and relationship like around everyone for that ever to believed especially men who use that type of women often.
The other players in the game who were supposed to be all these hardened men and big time players, they were really a bunch of pussy cats.
All in all, I liked our main characters and the plot line, but there were a lot of things that I personally thought could've been improved upon.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
This is a really good book. Jason and Aylee are both great characters and I enjoyed the way their relationship evolved. The suspense portion was well done and exciting. If the author would have given us more couple time and a longer epilogue a little farther out it would be a 5 star book. Safety gang safe
Under cover agent Jason Avery is the best at what he does. He's a loner and doesn't follow the rules. He prefers to work alone. When a bunch of women go missing and are murdered in Las Vegas, it is taking Jason much longer than usual for him to solve the case. FBI agent Aylee McFadden is sent to Las Vegas to go under cover with Jason in hopes that no other women go missing. What starts out as a somewhat hostile partnership, turns into more as Jason and Aylee stop fighting each other and give into the connection they have. When the mission puts Aylee in danger, Jason does everything in his power to protect her and keep her safe, but sometimes even the best can fail. Holy crap this book!!! Leslie is a go to author of mine I have read and often re read every book of hers and No Limit is no different. Being the first book in a new series, I wasn't sure what to expect and what I got was romantic suspense at its finest. Jason Avery is an asshole and man I love that asshole. With a tough exterior and a guarded heart he certainly doesn't make things easy on Aylee in the beginning and I loved it. Their banter was so much fun to read and Aylee gave it as good as she got. The chemistry between the two was undeniable and the alpha ways of Jason definitely made me swoon. I loved Aylee's strength. She is strong in every sense of the word. Determined to solve the case at whatever cost no matter the risk. The sexy times were scorching and the suspense and mystery surrounding the case and secondary characters had me on the edge of my seat. I loved that we got to see a few characters from the Gloves Off series and there is a scene with Kyle and Aylee that had me laughing so hard! This book was incredibly captivating and well written with a plot line that kept me riveted. I give this 5 stars.
I really, really, really wanted to like this book. I thought with that plot line and sexy characters, and a crazy beautiful man on the cover as Jason Avery, how can it go wrong?! Very. First, I didn't like the writing style. The dialogue didn't seem to really flow for me. The characters, Jason and Aylee would be discussing the case (that Jason always claims he's focused on) and Jason would randomly say something sexual to her.
Second, I struggled with what LP Dover saw happening in this story, versus reality. For example, undercover agents don't give their real names, yet both Jason and Aylee did. They both gave away information to suspects and person(s) of interest. Now, I'm not a cop, but I have watched enough NCIS and Bones to know these things don't happen.
Third, is the chemistry/insta-love. These characters were insta-attracted-- that's fine. But insta-love is a turn off for me, as is their lack of chemistry in conversation.
It's been a while since I've written a negative book review, and I hope this wasn't too scathing. Better luck reading!
LOVED this book!!!! I was hooked from start to finish. This story was so much more than hot sexy romance, it was full of action, mystery, suspense and oh yes, OF COURSE hot sex!!!!!!!!
Jason and Aylee were a fantastic duo! They were hot, sexy, witty, and oh gosh, they were so full of love for each other, I LOVED it:) I could feel the passion through my Kindle that they had for one another and it was steamy hot!!!!
I can't wait to see whose story will be next in this series and I am so looking forward to it! Congrats L.P. Dover on another great start to another promising series!
First of all, how hot is that guy on the cover?! I had no problem picturing him as Jason throughout the whole book and it made it that much more enjoyable. I mean, he just has the cocky, arrogant look down pat, doesn't he?!
Okay, now that I'm done mooning over the cover model let's get to the story. This was my first L.P. Dover read so I wasn't really sure what to expect but where could she possibly go wrong with an undercover cop and an FBI agent? And character wise, she did an awesome job. I fell in love with Jason's cockiness and Aylee's stubborness from the get-go and couldn't wait to see how everything worked out for them.
Jason has been working undercover in Vegas for the past month when the FBI sends Aylee in. To say that Jason is a total ass towards Aylee in the beginning in a major understatement. You see, Jason works alone and doesn't want the FBI coming in and taking over... But once Jason and Aylee decide it's better to work together than against each other? That's where things really pick up.
To find out who has been killing prostitutes around Vegas, Jason and Aylee have to get up close and personal with each other by posing as a prostitute and a john... And of course spending all that time together ends with them getting up close and personal in the bedroom. I wish I could say that the sex scenes were smoking hot, especially when picturing that cover model, but unfortunately they left a lot to be desired in my opinion.
Luckily, the action and suspense makes up for the lack of heat during the sexy times. Watching Aylee and Jason kick ass totally made this book for me. And the twists and turns definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Not once did I have a clue who the villain was and that's not something that usually happens to me, so kudos to L.P. Dover for stumping me!
Overall, No Limit was a great read and while I was hoping for a little more at the end, it was definitely enjoyable. I can't wait to see where she takes this series and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for the next book.
*ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.
No Limit was fan-freaking-tastic!!!! L.P. Dover has done it again!!! I am always excited to read a new book from her, because she never disappoints. Each book is filled with awesomesauce!!!! Including this one!!! No Limit took me on an exciting ride from beginning to end. Each time I think I had something figured out, I would be wrong. With L.P. books, you have to expect the unexpected!!! I loved the characters in this story. Jason and Aylee can kick some major butt. I was very glad that I was able to read this book through both of their POVs!!!! That was a huge plus!!!
Jason gets sent to Las Vegas to solve a murder case. This case has taken longer than any of his other cases to solve. Aylee shows up to assist him in the case only Jason works alone. He doesn't need or want help from the FBI. The more time they spend together, the more their chemistry sizzles. And holy batman it is hot!!! Their chemistry was off the charts. You could just feel the sexual tension between them. And both were stubborn. They fit perfectly together. I loved watching their feelings slowly turn to something more. They became so protective over each other, but had to learn to trust each other.
No Limit was a thrilling and unforgettable ride. I am really hoping that I get to see more of these characters in the future. OMG!!! We got to see Tyler and Kyle in this book!!! I laughed so much seeing what Jason asked Kyle to do. That was hilarious. I loved, loved, loved this book!!! I can't wait to see what is in store for us next time!!! Grab this book!!! This is a definite reread and I highly recommend it to everyone!!!
Undercover work. Work in general. Is it all work and no play? Well, Aylee & Jason will test that theory…... Can all of the flaunting & flirting be resisted while on the job? A job taken personally. Can temptation be resisted? Well there’s a limit to ones sanity. Which one will cave first? Tensions are high. Sexual chemistry sizzles between them, but denial wins strong every time. All these feelings running rampant while gambling with their lives to solve a case. Aylee puts herself in more than one awkward, dangerous situation causing Jason to lose his marbles and then some. As the days fly by, they continue to try and solve one situation after another before they realize something extremely important. Their times coming to an end. Time may not be on their side. To me this was not like any other L.P novel. Never really learned how to play card games other than golf fish or old maid lol- The knowledge thrown out, play by play the whole time Jason got his game on was entrancing. I was graciously gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Jason is cocky and quite full of himself, "like hanging a sock on the door knob when you’re horny and looking for a little of this.” He gestured down his body." When it comes to Aylee he's quite the charmer, "Jason’s eyes got dark and he pulled me close. “I’ve got a ride for you right here,” he rolled his hips into mine, “if you want to hop on." Jason was just a sexy guy, "lowering his hands to my a**, he squeezed and pushed his arousal into me. “Don’t worry, I know how I’m going to keep you occupied." I loved this book it was different and I loved how Leslie brings her characters to life.
First off I must thank Enticing Journey Book Promotions and LP Dover for providing me with a copy of this novel to read in exchange for an honest review.
And... the verdict is.. I LOVED IT! Not only are the characters well developed and just bad-to-the-bone, they are an awesome couple. The chemistry, even at first was hot, grizzly and had an ere of caution to it. Mrs. Dover outdid herself on this one. I look forward to more stories in this series. I will be getting them the moment I can. Anything that can catch my attention and literally have me reading for a day and a half non-stop is what I need more of!
***small spoiler alert***
Undercover means lots of things. But for Jason and Aylee it means putting their differences aside and working together to solve the senseless murders of a few call girls.
After being called on by the local police department Jason goes in deep. Undercover. He's there to hunt down the sick S-O-B that's killing off these girls. But after a few long weeks on the case, staking out casinos, playing in games at all of the casinos Jason is still at square one. Which means he is no closer to finding the asshole behind the murders than he was on day one. So the Chief warns him. Get answers or the FBI will want to take over. A take over is not happening on his watch. Then again, when he comes across a feisty red head in the casino she sparks something in him. That spark sputters when he learns Aylee is FBI. Undercover and here to help him move this along.
Weeks spent together had made the two of them grow closer. The attraction they had to each other was what pushed the a part at first. Aylee wanted to keep her head in the game and well Jason is a man so he was all for his 'head' to be in any part of her world. Who would have thought these two would go from wanting to rip each other into pieces to having a partnership that was strong enough to fight off the mess of trouble they were bound to get into. But when you work so close to someone, in the way they do, where it’s literally up close and personal you can’t help but let feelings grow.
As they make their way through the casinos and poker rooms they start to think they wont find their marks… then they do. The men on their ‘suspect list’ are thrust into their faces and they (Jason and Aylee) are taken into the circle. And as figured all of the men want Aylee. I mean, come on do you blame them. She’s not only hot she is a effing firecracker. Though by this time she is Jason’s firecracker but he has to learn to share in the name of police work. But there is something new between the two of them. A protectiveness takes Jason over when it comes to Aylee. Not only is she putting her own neck out on the line but she is the vulnerable one in this case. She is the one that the killer could come after. That is the plan after all… but the man in him in not okay with this. The cop inside him gets it but he isn't happy about it either. Aylee is his partner. He will always do what he needs to do to keep her safe.
And that is just what he does. He always knows where Aylee is at all times. Even if she hasn’t figured out how, he is determined to do anything to keep her safe. But ya know how the bad guy is always a step ahead… well Jason doesn’t let that stop him. No one will take his Aylee from him. Even if that means doing things he would need to take the badge off to do. (smirks) He is a good man. A good cop and the only man that makes her heart race when she sees him. But in the end, once the job is over what will happen? Can they make it past the distance between their lives? With Aylee in Maine and Jason in North Carolina…. what will happen? Can it all be a story book ending or will it all crash and burn like a bod in the desert sun?
I loved every single one of this author's other contemporary reads, so when I heard about this one, I knew I had to read it ASAP! I didn't care what it was about or what the cover looked like lol! It sounds amazing and has a seriously hot cover though, so of course it sealed the deal even more that I was going to read it lol! I loved this book! I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down until I had finished it! It was packed full of action and suspense! It had plenty of romance in it too, and there were some seriously, seriously hot scenes! The plot was amazing! It just got better and better as it progressed and I couldn't stop reading it! I was hooked and I always wanted to see how everything was going to progress! I also have to admit that the last 20% of this book was my favourite! It was the part that the mystery was coming to a close, so it was quite tense and went in such a good and unexpected direction! I just loved it! The characters were also amazing! Jason was the main male character, and he was seriously hot! And I mean, he was smoking hot! He may just be the hottest male character from this author's books lol! And trust me, that's hard lol! I mean, I loved Jason! He was always focused on the job he had to do and the person he had to find! Well, until his love interest came along lol! Jason had been through a lot in this life and he had experienced loss that was very sad and affected him a lot! He was a guy that kept going though and he had a good job and a good life! Jason was also very protective of his love interest, Aylee, and I could see that he really loved her! He proved this again and again in this book, which was very hot at times lol! Aylee was the main female character, and she was kick-ass! She could hold her own and she totally owned Jason at several points in this book, which made me laugh because he wasn't expecting it lol! Like Jason, Aylee was focused on the task she had to do, which made her and Jason a good team! Aylee had also been through a lot in her childhood, which made her want to work herself and keep herself to herself, but she started to relax and let herself go with Jason as the book progressed, which I loved! She came a long way in this book and she learned a lot! I just loved her and she was easy for me to connect with! I loved that this book was written from both Jason and Aylee's point of views! It helped me connect more with the two characters and it really added to the mystery aspect! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's not going to be about Jason and Aylee and that it's going to be about other characters, but this has made me even more excited to read it! The cover for this book is seriously hot and suits it perfectly! You realise how well it suits it after you read the book! The model on the front is the perfect Jason too! Big thank you to L.P. Dover for an ARC of No Limit and to Enticing Journey Book Promotions for having me on the Blog Tour!
Cocky, use to working a lone, undercover agent, Jason Avery, is sent to Vegas to solve a case of escort women who go missing, only to turn up dead a few days later. After a series of dead end leads, the FBI takes matters, and the case, into their own hands.
Aylee McFadden, FBI agent, joins Jason to find out who's responsible for the murdered women. Aylee is exactly what Jason needs to break the case and find out who the criminals are. But in Vegas, the high rollers gamble with more than just money. As both Jason and Aylee's feeling for each other start to change into more than just a work partnership, neither of them can afford to lose in this game.
No Limit (Armed and Dangerous) is a spin off from L.P. Dover's other series, Second Chances and Gloves Off. BUT you do not need to read those series to read her Armed and Dangerous series. It is a new story, with some previous characters showing up, but you will not be lost in the on goings of No Limit story. And it is a finished book, with no cliff hangers.
I absolutely love the characters of Jason and Aylee. Both characters have a past that causes trust issues, but both are strong, both physically and mentally. They put their job first and agree to get long for the sake of the case.
Jason being the typical alpha male, not only is upset when he's blindsided about getting a partner, but a female one at that. He's cocky and pushes all of Alyee's buttons to test her. Soon he realizes she's just as good, as he is in the field.
One thing I love about L.P. Dover's female characters, is that they're strong. They're not your typical dismal in distress. Aylee has a horrific childhood, but she didn't let it consume her. She excludes sexiness, but there is so much more than that. She's mentally smart and is strong enough to take on a former UFC fighter. You'll see she's more than capable to handle the dangers of her job, yet, she can't do it all. Aylee needs Jason, just as much as Jason needs Aylee.
From the very first page, No Limit, is filled with suspense and action. I can honestly say this is one of the best suspenseful books I've read. Things aren't as the seem. The characters aren't as they seem. When you think you know what's going one, who's the bad guy, L.P. deals you a card that blows your mind. Yet, once everything is explained and the cards are laid on the table, it all makes sense.
The romance and sexy times are just as hot as the city of Vegas. I would highly recommend No Limit, especially if you love action filled, very suspenseful, hot romance, stories. No Limit will exceed your expectations. This is definitely a winner.
Holy balls! Let me ask you something... are you in a book slump? Do you like books that are full of steam, action and suspense? Then this is your book. From the first page, this book sucks you in and devours you whole, staying with you long after it's over. I am a HUGE fan of this author and books like this remind me why. Oh and that cover... no words! *drool*
This book was absolutely brilliant. It was full of mystery, suspense, and was full of twists and turns. This book was so sexy, fun, sweet, and the banter was so smoking hot and funny that it will leave you breathless. I love a good romance story that will make me laugh, swoon, and have me guessing until the very end. This was that book.
This is Aylee and Jason’s story. Right from the beginning, they will pull you in into their lives. Jason is working a case that he is having trouble solving. Aylee is sent in to assist much to his distaste. But as they begin to work together, the sexual tension thickens and tempers rise. Jason is starting to accept he has feelings for Aylee while she is trying to deny what she feels for him. Throw in a mystery that they are wrapped in while trying to solve. The road ahead of them is going to be long, hard, and bumpy. Will they ever find their happy ending?
I loved Jason and Aylee together. From the first meeting, they were electric. They made me laugh so hard with the back and forth. And then had panties melting when they were in between the sheets. Aylee was smart, sweet, fun, and strong. Like any person, she had her weaknesses but she was an amazing person. She did have guards around her heart but Jason broke them down, one by one. I also swooned for Jason. He was so dominant and in charge but had a soft side we got to see when he was with Aylee. I was rooting for these through the thick and thin times.
I'll make it easy for you...just go one-click the book. Seriously, just go click-you're going to get action, suspense, romance, hot and steamy scenes, and if you've read the author's Gloves Off books, you're going to get another peek at some of your favorite characters from there as well. No Limit is an awesome read and an exciting ride, thanks to the author's smooth writing that pulls you right in to the story and the tremendous characters that make this an unputdownable book.
Now I do admit-at times I didn't wholly feel the connection between Aylee and Jason (usually when they argued). But most of the time, the two of them together barreled along like a freight train of heat, steam and finally-love. Both are strong-willed, confident, excel at what they do, and are committed to the job they do. And the protective nature Jason develops toward Aylee screams alpha male.
There's a fantastic cast of secondary characters (I especially like Diane) that bring a lot of depth to the story, and as I mentioned earlier, we get to see a few of the characters from the author's Gloves Off series here in No Limit...which is a wonderful treat for those of us who've read and loved that series.
I was so drawn in to the story, I was trying to figure out who the bad guy was right along with Aylee and Jason. We keep getting little buildups of suspense, and then the last 20% or so of the story really gets intense where you absolutely won't want to put it down...for any reason.
No Limit was an exciting read, and I'm excited for this new series-I can't wait for the next one! 5 thrilling stars for No Limit, and I'd recommend to 18+ for language and adult sexual scenes. If you liked L.P. Dover's Gloves Off series, you're definitely going to want to read No Limit, and continue on with the Armed and Dangerous series.
No Limit. ***** I have read every single one of L.P. Dover’s books. I can honestly say that this is the best and my favorite. In this story you get a more in depth view at Jason. You might have briefly met Jason in other stories by L.P. Dover, and if you haven’t then that is a-ok. This story has so many different elements, that you will be holding your emotions in as you read. You will go on a rollercoaster of emotions from happy to sad to annoyed to pissed off all in the matter of a few paragraphs. This is unlike any book that I have ever read. Even having read the other books of this sort from L.P. Dover, this still does not compare. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes romance, adventure, sexy-hot-cop books, or just a great story. SPOILERS AHEAD Jason is an undercover cop that works with Mason on all different types of jobs that take him all over. He is a solitary worker who doesn’t like working with a partner. When he is asked to take a job in Vegas, he cannot say no. So instead of vacation, he heads to Sin City to see if he can catch the bad guys. Along the way Jason meets Aylee. She is an undercover FBI agent that is sent to help on the case (giving a mighty blow to Jason’s ego). Forced to work together, the two finally come to an arrangement. But what will happen when they are forced to step outside their comfort zone multiple times. With multiple deaths and near deaths, you can be sure that this is not a book that you will willingly put down. You will want to start this book when you will not have to stop for something (like sleep or eating lol).
Without even reading the synopsis, this author had me at the book cover. Hook. Line. Sinker. But then I read the synopsis and was definitely intrigued to find out more. I was definitely not disappointed. I've read a few of her fighter books, so I was used to her comfortable writing style. The kind that instantly draws you in and leaves you feeling connected with the characters from the beginning. This is certainly not a bad thing as that's one thing I always look for in a book; can I connect with the characters? It was a resounding yes with this story. No matter your walk in life, we all have a little piece in us that gets boggled down with work, love, and life and forgets to actually live. That's what I felt from Jason and Aylee. Two lost souls searching for something they didn't even realize was close at hand.
While I enjoyed the mystery behind the case they were working on, that wasn't even the highlight for me. I loved being a part of their love story. I loved watching the walls come down, the back and forth banter, and the steamy scenes between the sheets. It all came together flawlessly for me, as any good story does. In fact, when we found out who done it, I didn't even care at that point. I just wanted more J & A. This is a story with a clear cut HEA, and even though it is in a series, it is to be read as a standalone. I'm not sure who the next book will be about, but I have a few theories and this is definitely one series I will follow eagerly.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads
As I loved the Gloves Off series, I was delighted to get a chance to read this new book by Ms Dover. And it heralds the start of an excellent new journey.
I love reading romance and erotica (no surprise there) but I do enjoy it when a book has a really solid, exciting and suspenseful plot as well. And this certainly delivers on all scores. It is really challenged by detection skills, and ramped up the heat too. I would definitely recommend this to you, as a very worthwhile read.
As it says, it is a standalone, so you get a full story, but I looking forward to what comes next in this series, as Ms Dover's work is a guaranteed good read.
I couldn't put this book down. When Jason and Aylee were together the spark that was their you could feel while reading their story. Finding out who was killing the girls was going to be tricky but with Jason & Avery working the case you knew it would be interesting. With 3 guys that were suspects and had a reputation to use woman they had to get into there group by any means and that was thru poker. But the stakes where to high and Aylee was the bargaining chip. With there feelings towards each other getting stronger and the danger still out there, it was getting harder for Jason to let Aylee do there job. When you think you know who the killer is and then bam it is someone you might not have see coming. Such an amazing story and can't wait to read the next in this series
Undercover agent and certified bad boy Jason Avery has been sent to Las Vegas to solve a rash of murders involving women. When the case hasn’t been solved in a timely manner, FBI agent Aylee McFadden is sent in as backup.
Right away, there is chemistry between the two. While Jason maintains his cocky attitude, Aylee remains strong and very much independent. As the story progresses, there is a series of twists and turns that I absolutely loved.
Despite Jason’s big ego, he is not to be misunderstood as a bad cop. And while Aylee is strong-willed, she can’t help but be attracted to him. But, when the case is over, what happens to them as they prepare to go their separate ways?
This is unlike any other LP Dover novel I have read. After a long reading slump, I was ecstatic to read something that held my attention. This novel contains it all: suspense, steam, and sass.

This is the first book from this author that I have read and it won’t be the last. I love the interaction between the 2 main characters from the very start. Aylee is feisty as they come and Jason is an asshole. Girls love assholes though…it never fails. LOL
Aylee can definitely take care of herself but Jason wants to take care of her too which just gets the flutters going in the tummy. So sweet and sexy as hell. Yes please! I’m trying my best to give a review without giving away details but its SOOOOOO hard.*snort* I swear I have the sense of humor of a teenage boy sometimes.
This is a great story and it kept me guessing on who the killer was and I was very surprised who it actually turned out to be. Now I have to go find some of the author’s other books.
4.5 -- Firecracker -- stars! Jason, a private detective, and Aylee, a FBI agent, have to work together to catch a serial killer. Jason prefers to work alone, so they bicker a lot in the beginning. They are immediately attracted to each other, but they know there is no way that they can have a future so they try to fight it. They can’t deny their feelings for each other for long and Jason becomes very protective over Aylee. I liked both characters a lot! Their chemistry is great. The book is hot and funny at several moments! I was guessing the whole book who the killer was and in the end, I was wrong. I like it that it wasn’t obvious. It is a great suspense, romantic story! I will definitely continue this series.
No Limit is filled with intrigue, danger, passion, and it was a fantastic read. I loved every bit of it. From Jason who was super sexy with an incredible gift for the naughty talk to Aylee who was so strong and could totally kick ass. I love when an author writes an incredible female. LP did this so well in this story. I also loved their assignment and how that all played out. Was just an edge of your seat thing for sure. Not only did I not put it down until the very last page, but I was left wanting more of Jason and Aylee. I could totally see them in a series. I was hooked for sure.
This is my first book by this author but won't be my last.As I really enjoyed reading it. The characters were great I LOVED Jason Avery, he was hot, funny and kick ass!! He was also well matched with Aylee and the banter between them keeps the story going whilst they are investigating.
Although the story itself wasn't full on suspense, when the suspense hit, it was great, I did have a feeling about the killer before the person was revealed, but I never expected what actually happened.
I am now going to check out this authors other books, and look out for book 2 in this series. This is definitely worth a read, you really won't be disappointed :-)
